Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Emmental District

A kind and lovely couple, with a clean and charming place. The outdoor space is perfect for a barbecue, and the breakfast was absolutely delicious

Perfect for a large group of 15 people + 6 children! An escape from the daily life of the city, especially when it's a hot weekend on the plateau. It's not the North Pole, but in terms of isolation from civilization, you could almost believe it. The view is magnificent, the amenities (fireplace for raclette, grill/fire pit - both working with wood fire available on site - Nordic style hot tub - which we did not need to heat given the heat of the moment - and without forgetting the large canvas that can be deployed by pressing a button offering shade on almost the entire terrace). The kitchen downstairs has all the amenities and enough space if the group is well organized and tidy (which was not our case!) You have to live with two cows, the farmers next door who work there during the day (but don't sleep there) and the fact that the parking lot is a 3-minute walk away, at the edge of the forest. Would we go back? Yes.

This was an awesome stay for us! Perfect for a lot of people to hang out and have a good time. While not in a super populated location, it is easily drivable to larger cities and grocery stores were 5 minutes away. I would love to come back someday!

It was a great time with the family. I find the accommodation very expensive. But nowadays everything is overpriced anyway. Still, a great location! Perfect for relaxation - Werner is a very nice person. He even gave us a whole bucket of eggs - thank you!

We had a wonderful stay at Stöckli during the Christmas days. The Stöckli has plenty of space and is comfortably furnished. It has everything you need. The surrounding area is very nice and invites you to walk. We and the kids enjoyed it very much. Communication with Claudia was very good. Thanks for everything!

Marcus and his Entire Family is very welcoming and nice.Property is like a farm house.We stayed for week and feel very homely.Got everything which is required for perfect holidays...swimmingpool, big garden, Perfect view, plenty of fruits and vegetables, convenient to visit Grindelwald,Interlaken,Bern,Lucern. I loved Daniela's home stay - it felt like my home, her hospitallity was so good, esspecially I was happy that they even tasted our spicy indian food late at night. They allowed to feed their horse too. House was clean, tidy and only thing we missed was the breakfast during our stay as Daniela could not find time due to her busy week which was already communicated to us before the booking. Thank you so much for your kindness and love Daniela. I really recommend this home stay.

Esther was a very caring hostess and the apartment and the refrigerator were lacking. From the very first communication, everything was very straightforward.

Whether you just want to relax or enjoy the area, both are possible in the area at any time and the hosts were always friendly, accommodating and easily accessible. I had a wonderful time of 3 months and would book this accommodation again at any time and recommend it to anyone.

We had a beautiful stay at Samantha's loft, with our dog. Very unique and well equiped appartment, with a closed garden (safe for dogs) where we could sit and chill nicely. Samantha was very kind in her communication and could help us out with every request! We could even use the traditional cheese fondue for the ultimate Swiss experience :) We highly recommended this loft, thanks again, we would love to come back when visiting Switserland!

We had a very nice stay at the place with amazing views. The apartment is well described in the listing. The apartment does not have an elevator but was already mentioned in the listing so there was no surprise in that. Hope to go back again to this beautiful village.

Very nice cabin, both the children and the adults enjoyed it. The hot water limit has been manageable. The beds are sometimes very high for children, to have in mind depending on the age of the groups. Well equipped cabin and pleasant welcome.

We were very well received in this little green corner. This little barrel at the bottom of the garden, out of sight, is a superb experience.

Fantastic location with enchanting views. There were 4 of us and there was plenty of space to linger & retreat in any weather. We had two challenges (bed linen & heating), but Erich was promptly available & solutions could be found. Overall, a very relaxing stay in a stylish & unique ambience!

We spend an amazing week-end! It was so peaceful and beautiful, a full immersion in nature and away from the chaos of the city. The house is as modern as well aligned with the surroundings of nature. Beautiful and full of comfort ^^ The host was always super responsive and gave us great advises on what to do in the surroundings of the little village where we were.
