George is a wonderful host and his home is outstanding. The photos don’t do it justice. It is impeccably decorated and stocked with everything you would need. Daily housekeeping was unexpected but made the stay even that more luxurious feeling. Very clean, extra linens and some local goodies in the fridge on arrival. It is obvious George cares for his home and guests. The village the house is in is very cute. No cars can drive through so you need to park on the street but it’s very easy to find. It’s in the middle of the 4 local restaurants. Very easy to walk out the door and grab a coffee or dinner. Loved our stay! Hope to be back one day!

Artemisia was such a great host and the house was so great! She helped us with so many things when we arrived and was so flexible with our stay and everything. The view was just beautiful, everything so clean and nice. We had a really great time. Thank you for everything!

Graciela was a great host. She cleaned the pool every morning, which was perfect for our kids, and gave us lots of tips for things to do on Syros. The house had everything we needed and we fehlt very comfortable. We'd love to come back!

We had a wonderfull time at Anna's and Giorgios quiet place on the edge of the village of Azolimnos. There is the the possibility of swimming almost on the doorstep near a small harbor. The most fantastic thing was the spectacular sunrises over the sea right in front of the panoramic windows and the spacious terrace. In one room you could even watch the spectacle from the bed. If you didn't want to, you could have darkened the room with electric night blinds. There is a mini market within easy walking distance. In the other direction we went on short walks along the coastline with turquoise-colored bays and the small beach "Santorini". Buses stop opposite the mini market, which travel through the island clockwise and anti-clockwise. We could easily do without renting a car. The landlords live on the ground floor and were extraordinarily helpful and friendly.

We had an amazing stay! Antonis picked us up from the ferry and gave some recommendations for the area. The apartment is super cute and the area perfect. You have a supermarket in walking distance and nice coffee shops, restaurants. This was the perfect place for some days on the island to explore (by car). They were super flexible with check in and check out times, which was amazing due to ferry times. We would always come back to this place. Thank you!

A most beautiful house. Extraordinary location steps from the beautiful sea, a gorgeous church, a lovely local taverna and a cafe. The garden and balconies offer incredible serenity and peace and beauty at every turn. The outdoor kitchen is wonderful and we cooked outside at night and enjoyed the warm nights and beautiful stars. We had such a fantastic stay at the Veranda House. Vasiliki, Dimitris and Alexandra were extraordinary hosts. They greeted us at the port to drive us to the house with such a warm welcome. They ensured that we had everything we needed throughout our stay, and provided us with valuable recommendations for restaurants and beaches in Syros. We were so surprised and impressed with the amazing homemade food that they provided us, which was a comfort after a long travel day. We enjoyed all of the amenities in the Veranda House. The garden area with the hot tub was a beautiful and relaxing environment where we enjoyed spending time together as a family. The house itself was extremely clean and well-equipped with everything we possibly could have needed. We would love the opportunity to stay at the Veranda House again. It was truly the most memorable and special Airbnb experience we have ever had. We would highly recommend the Veranda House while visiting Syros.

The two of us stayed in Maria Christina's house for 14 days and felt very comfortable there. This is a detached house in a beautiful hillside location on the edge of the bay of Kini above the pier, 200 meters to the sandy beach. Access via a relatively steep stone staircase (about 70 steps), a bit difficult with luggage. With the rental car you can drive up to the stairs on the jetty, stop briefly and unload. Free parking is available in the village. The house has 2 separate bedrooms with comfortable mattresses, a small living room and a large kitchen superbly equipped for self-catering. All rooms are equipped with mosquito nets and from everywhere you have a great view of the bay of Kini. The bathroom is stylish in concrete look, but relatively small for more than 2 people. Everything looks freshly renovated. There are 3 terraces, a balcony and a well-kept garden. Kini and the place were perfect for us, as was the contact with the landlady.

Anastasios was the perfect host. Attentive, proactive and extremely pleasant to deal with. He kindly collected us from the ferry and dropped us back when we were leaving the island. The house is geographically separated from the town square and waterfront on top of a step hill but it lies right on the route of the almost-hourly free town minibus that quickly and easily gets you to and front the waterfront and main restaurant area. It was a pleasure to have a drink or meal on the rooftop area overlooking the Aegean and nearby islands. We heartily recommend Anastasios and his great house.

We stayed at Antonio’s’ for 8 nights; I think it wasn’t until we left that we fully appreciated what a privilege it had been to stay there. Luxury accommodation it is not, but instead there is peace and privacy with a beautiful outlook & the sound of the sea. We only left the accommodation a few times, once to get shopping from the town (it’s a bus ride away), & a few times to walk to a sandy beach 10 minutes down the road. The rest of our stay we were content to use the pebbly cove by the house & to sit in the garden and read, accompanied by four entertaining young cats. There is a taverna across the road which serves excellent food but unfortunately no shop in the area (closed for the season). Antonis was a great host, he collected us from the port & took us to a supermarket for supplies. He lives behind the property so was on hand if needed, but not intrusive. The house itself is spacious with quiet air con & all the essentials for keeping clean (hot water) & basic self-catering.

Great house with plenty of space and many balconies to have a meal or just hang out. Lovely hosts, very helpful and responsive. The house is super close to the local beach and not far from a small cafe. The AC was a must in August as it gets quite hot. Everything was great, although the only suggestion we would make is add a second toilet somewhere else than in the single bathroom as it can get ‘logistically’ complicated with large groups. Thanks!

Our stay in this accommodation was unforgettable! The location is unique, the view over the entire area to the surrounding islands is unparalleled. We marveled at the sunrise every day and after a very short walk you're also in a beautiful place to watch the sunset. Carol is the greatest host we've ever had. She went out of her way to provide us with helpful information even on our previous stop (Athens) and accompanied us to the house to show us the way. We would recommend renting an "off-road" car as the way up is really steep and narrow. I have never found it so hard to leave an accommodation. We truly loved everything about it and it was perfect with two little kids. Thanks so much, Carol! We'll be back for sure!

This house is absolutely beautiful and has an incredible view of the sunset, which makes the steep walk to town worth it. Those who stay on the beach cannot get this magnificent vista, the best on the island. The house is artistically designed. The rooms are small but lovely. As Katerina explains in her listing, you are not renting a house; you are renting bedrooms with small kitchenettes in them in a house shared with Katerina. The space does not have a separate kitchen, nor is there a living room or dining room. It is truly three bedrooms with baths and minibar fridges, hotplates and toaster ovens. Katerina, a very nice person, stays in the other part of the house and shares the patios. She made us a cake and brought us a bowl of figs from her garden. Overall, it is a wonderful way to experience Syros. I recommend renting a car.

We had a great time in this place. The area is quiet and peaceful. The house is spacious and clean, the kitchen well equipped and from the terrace there is a great view to the seaside (sunrises are amazing!). The house is just few minutes walking from the port, restaurants and shops. I would definitely recommend! Thank you!

Very well located apartment, with stunning views from the terraces. Very quiet environment, parking available. Only a few minutes to several beaches and very nice restaurants. Impeccable cleanliness inside and out. The peaceful pool is an asset of the residence. Communication with the host is easy and very clear. We were hosted very well. I would recommend this place and I'd love to come back. This superb residence allowed us to have a great vacation in Syros.

We were attracted by the old charm of this beautiful house and it's mature gardens when we found the listing but nothing had prepared us for the deeply moving experience of inhabiting this work of art. It was a feast for the senses and we hardly wanted to leave the property to explore the island durring our 10 day stay. It is an artists' house best enjoyed by other artists and all those who cannot live without beauty and can see past the odd inconvenience of a preloved space.

We had a fabulous stay in this beautiful typical, comfortable, large house with plenty of outdoor spaces and very well designed for several families. The view is incredible from everywhere, very nice pool in a beautiful and quiet environment while being only 10 minutes from the pretty Kivi station with beaches and restaurants, supermarket. Essential car Dimitri on site is full of good advice and very responsive if needed. Hoping to get back to Syros and Dani soon.

What a beautiful villa! The pool was fantastic, and the views were priceless. We had everything we needed and more. Every detail was thought out perfectly. Kameliya was so friendly, responsive, helpful, and proactive in tending to our needs. She spoiled us with ice cream, cold waters, and espresso cups upon arrival, and had a box of hand me down toys to engage the kiddos. All 8 of us slept comfortably with plenty of AC units on both floors. We used the laundry/wash machine once, and it worked great. Also, the restaurant/tavern Kameliya recommended was exceptional. We didn’t want to leave and hope to return.

The home and grounds were just as appeared in photos. A modern home built in classical style and old world quality sitting upon immaculate grounds. Korina, the owner stays on the lower level and is always available to ensure we were enjoying ourselves and to make sure everything is in order with the home. Our stay was a much needed treat in luxury, peace and tranquility.

The place is beautiful! The photos don't honor the reality of the view and the interior layout. Dimitris was very welcoming and always good advice, and Litha was very responsive in terms of communication. We recommend without hesitation!

We simply loved our stay at the Airbnb. The cleanliness of the premises, the kindness of the host as well as the pool are elements that we particularly appreciated. We highly recommend this charming Airbnb to everyone!

We wanted a place in Finikas to be close to our daughter-in-law's grandfather who lives locally and this villa was great. It had everything we needed and more, a true home from home. Nikos and Lucy were proactive and very accommodating. We were met by Lucy on arrival who took us around the house and explained everything we needed to know. We were left some lovely wine, soft drinks and confection as a welcome gift and there were lots basic provisions to keep us going. The pool area with barbecue, loungers and huge canopied table was where we spent most of our time and the views from here and the patio with another dining table are spectacular. Our son and daughter-in-law have spent many holidays in the area so we knew where to go - there are some lovely tavernas/restaurants and bars in Finikas, a great bakery (recommended) and some lovely local beaches within a short drive. Thank you Nikos and Lucy for making our stay so memorable and enjoyable. We will definitely return !
