Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Escondido

As a family we really enjoyed our stay! The home was well appointed and was filled with so many great family activites and games that made the 'hang time' with the family, young and old, so easy! Zeina and Mo did a great job responding to our needs and concerns and we were grateful to be able to work with them. Would definitely consider staying with them again! The grandkids are already asking when can we go back!!

Beautiful Air B&B. We came to stay for memorial day weekend, and take our kids to the zoo and wild animal park. The location was gorgeous, it was clean and cozy, perfect for our little family. Michael was extremely responsive and nice. The pool, the view, the comfortable bed, I can't say enough about this place. As much as we like to stay at new places each time we travel - next time we make our way out towards San Diego, we would love to stay at Michael's place again. Thank you so much for opening your beautiful home to us !

Perfect place for our large group of adults. All amenities were available to us. Our hosts communicated well and promptly prior to and throughout our stay. I would highly recommend.

My family had a wonderful stay. The pool was a hit with the kids. Beautiful area.

Overall stay was very enjoyable! The hosts are quick and responsive and extremely helpful. The place itself had a very nice jacuzzi/pool to use when relaxing after a long day of exploring the area. The area is very peaceful and relaxing.

We truly enjoyed our stay here, it was clean, easy to find/access and communication with Jenny was seamless! We have family in Escondido and it was a great place to have our own space while spending time with loved ones nearby. Highly recommend for a clean, comfortable and easy stay!

Wonderful host any questions we had she responded quickly and very helpful. The place was amazing plenty of room for the whole family. Comfortable beds and amazing kitchen well stocked and equipped with all the essentials to make meals. The pool/ hot tube was perfect and the game room was a huge hit with the kiddos and adults. we enjoyed the gas fireplace outside as well as the grill. Totally recommend, wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

This was our second stay at the Casita and it was just as wonderful as our first. We had 4 adults working remotely while the rest of the group (including kids) enjoyed the pool and game room. The house was perfectly set up for this. We also took advantage of the rooftop and had the loveliest evenings listening to music and winding down by the fire pit. This rental will continue to be in rotation for future trips.

Prime location, great amenities, place looks exactly like the photos, very very clean.. I have no qualms! Anna is very prompt with her instructions and responds quickly if needed. She goes above and beyond to satisfy and cater to her guests. The kitchen was fully stocked with anything you would need for a short term stay-- all complimentary, as well. The check in and check out process was extremely easy and smooth. My only complaint (which is a personal preference and why I won't dock anything from her rating but figured it would be helpful for those who are light sleepers like me) is that the overhead window that is over the bed does not have any curtains. It makes sleeping soundly for light-sensitive sleepers like me a bit difficult! This was easily fixable by bringing my travel black out curtain. Just a friendly heads up for those alike. I will be on the lookout for her listing any time I'm back in SD!

We had a great time staying in a quaint space—perfect for two—that is also very centrally located in Oceanside. It's not walkable anywhere really, but in a short car ride, everything becomes accessible.

We loved our stay! We were provided with amenities we might need such as extra blankets, and iron, pots and pans and disposable cups. The instructions on finding the place were very clear, the space was homey and quiet.

Rented this airbnb for my 70 year old mother in law who was visiting family in the area. She said the airbnb was perfect - clean, easily accessible, everything you’d need and more.

Michael and Arlene are excellent hosts. Their home is beautiful, cozy, and even better than in the photos. We felt very comfortable throughout our stay and would definitely love to come back. Thank you for everything!

We loved our 3-night (couple’s) stay at this quaint and cute apartment! Joel and Heather were both very quick to respond and offered good recommendations. It’s within walkable distance to the Carlsbad Village and Beach, which were our top priorities. Loved it and strongly recommend!

Location is very walkable to charming downtown Vista area, and the unit itself is clean, airy, and spacious with plenty of amenities! There are clear instructions in place too and the dedicated parking was a big plus. It was a peaceful and restful place to stay, thank you Kim!

Alan & Pam were so amazing from the start. They also provided a guide on their favorite eats around Vista and the place was perfect. I loved the idea of having a gated parking lot, it made my stay more enjoyable knowing that my vehicle was going to be safe at night. The place was spotless and it felt like home. Definitely would come back here to stay when we come back down to San Diego!

This place was definitely worth it, walking distance to the beach and the pool made it a favorite for us. Paul provided lots of fun beach accessories for us to use and the condo was clean and had what you needed. The patio is nice to have breakfast on and though the sliding door was really hard to open/close Paul said they were expecting a new one. It was so nice to have a refreshing outdoor space but just a bummer that due to the landscaping project it was a lil bit loud during the daytime when coming back to recoup but that’s kinda out of anyone’s control. Overall we enjoyed our time and would stay again in the future.

Such a great place to stay. Restaurants, beach, pier all within walking distance. Within the complex pools, gym, and game room. My kids especially loved feeding the koi fish in the pond. The condo was centrally located in the complex between the game room and the pool. Sitting on the balcony you can hear the waterfall and get a peek at the ocean through the trees. Will definitely stay again!

We loved our time here! It was perfect and we were able to just walk to the golf course everyday. Hoping to stay here again next year for the NCAA championship. Thanks, Robyn!

We loved this apartment- it was beautiful and had everything we needed! It was even bigger than the photos make it seem. Gorgeous decor and beautifully maintained/cleaned. Lots of extras/amenities like kitchen items, toiletries, beach stuff, and linens. The host’s communication was very hospitable and helpful! Location and view is incredible - right on the beach and walkable to so many cute cafes, grocery stores and bars. Comes with a parking spot too, and pool and hot tub access! Would definitely book again!

Nick was a great host! He let us check in early to get settled, was communicative and helpful, and the apartment was everything we were looking for. I loved the location as it is very close to downtown Oceanside while still in a peaceful neighborhood. I felt very secure with the courtyard and loved the coffee shop right across the street. I would recommend staying here and plan on staying here again the next time we come down!

Loved staying here. 2nd floor has a nice breeze and all amenities needed in a home. Onsite parking provided, AC Unit, and all necessary utensils/equipment for cooking. Tony actually reached out to us an hour after our stay to let us know we left some important documents at his home. Thankfully he was communicative and responsive as we were able to retrieve them quickly and efficiently. We heard the below tenants a few times but nothing out of the ordinary. Would happily stay here again.

I cannot say enough about Leslie and Kaylie. Absolutely everything was perfect. Every I was dotted and t was crossed. Communication with them was amazing. The home was beautiful.
