The perfect place to be in the woods, but not isolated. Cook your meals in the nearby cookhouse (40’ away, unheated) on a camp stove or over an open campfire. A heated bathroom/shower is 20’ away. Our cabin provides comfort, privacy and a convenient base for exploring nearby Saranac Lake, Lake Placid and the surrounding area. A historic ice house dating back to the early 1900s, the cabin has been renovated to feature a cozy loft, bathroom and comfortable indoor and outdoor sitting areas. Nestled in a quiet, wooded setting with easy access to hiking trails, paddling, and local shops, it’s the perfect retreat for couples, solo travelers, or small families seeking a peaceful getaway.

Additional vehicles must be parked in the village lot. Walk to downtown,10 miles to Lake Placid, plenty of outdoor recreation such as hiking and kayaking nearby. Access to the Adirondack Rail Trail is nearby. This space is suitable for three people comfortably. There is 1 Full sized bed and 1 twin bed.
