"Stable Cottage"

StefanRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
Helen's place is an ideal countryside getaway. The cottage has everything a family of 4 can desire for. Downstairs fireplace with logs and coal provided were an added bonus. The fridge came stocked with all the necessities for making breakfast. Tea and coffee and fresh milk and juice were also provided. Would necessary consider staying again, and would bring family or friends along next time.

Renovated Barn of the year 1500

EdRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Sarà was amazing start to finish, from being flexible with check in times to being amazing with local recommendations and even ensuring there was coffee around in abundance! Couldn’t have been more helpful and not only is she an amazing host she’s a fantastic local navigator. It’s worth all the stairs, trust us!

Amazing views, The Granary

RavivRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Staying at the Granary was idyllic! It was truly magical to stay in such a beautiful stone cottage surrounded by lovely farmland, gardens, and trees. Sanchia was a superb host, responsive and friendly, and their dogs, cat, and ducks were also delightful company! We really enjoyed sitting out on the deck and marveling at the view and we were able to easily visit Glendalough for a phenomenal hike. The scones, tea, coffee (including espresso with a moka pot!), and other cooking essentials were greatly appreciated. And I even got to exchange a book from their shelf, so if you see “The Last Murder at The End of The World” feel free to carry it on! Would very happily return!

Romantic Country Cottage| Hot tub| Sauna

SimonRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Absolutely beautiful cottage, inside & out. Internally the decor is all amazing and very thoughtfully designed and very luxurious. The location is perfect to explore all corners of Cornwall. Kate is a superb host who made us feel extra special with all the welcome treats. The hottub & sauna are a great way to relax after a long day of walking with our dogs. We had the best time here but it was all too short. We’ll certainly be back!

The Quiet Stones

MelanieRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Xavier and his family's accommodation is great 😊 a quiet area, the view is fantastic, the large terrace is especially cool. Everything you need is there. The breakfast offered on the weekend is also very good. By car you can reach everything in a few minutes, restaurants, supermarket, etc. We thank you very much and wish you all the best 🙂

Old barn Saralex, Val d 'Herens 1600 m Valais Alps

SimoneRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Our stay at the cabin was absolutely amazing for us family of 4. The setting is peaceful and private, with stunning views that made it feel like a true escape. The cabin itself was spotless and cosy and solidly built. We especially enjoyed peace and quiet and lying on the sofa looking across at the big mountains on the over side of the valley. This hut is well equipped with good quality cooking facities, equipment and knives, and we appreciate the soldar handsoap and the washing up liquid. The host was responsive and made everything easy from start to finish. It’s close to great hiking spots and a nearby town with a shop, yet still feels secluded. We left feeling refreshed and restored and can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend this gem in the mountains.

Stunning Two Bedroom Countryside Barn

NicoleRating, 5 stars1 day ago
Nicky’s place was so beautiful. Located in the peaceful countryside it had every amenity you could ask for and was spotlessly clean. We were in the area for our wedding at Beaumanor Hall, so it was a perfect location for us. Honestly one of the best Airbnbs we’ve ever stayed in.

Period barn, private heated swimming pool, hot tub

LizRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
I booked this stay for my husband's 70th birthday with our family. There was 10 in total. The greeting was lovely and David explained everything about his property with passion and warmth. Im not surprised the place has the 'wow' factor for myself and family. The converted narn had beautiful features very pretty but David has introduced some great electric blinds, lighting, modern kitchen but fits with the period property. Fab tennis court, David provided balls and bats for guests to to use. David then took us to the pool area and extra bedroom and we were blown away. Thoroughly enjoyed every minute of our stay. Lovely towels at pool and bedrooms. Plenty of hot water. Pool warm, jacuzzi great. We absolutely loved our time at Davids property. Would defo recommend. Top class.

Beautiful converted barn on lake fryken

RicoRating, 5 stars4 days ago
The accommodation is very quiet with a wonderful view. The numerous details immediately show how much love and effort has been invested. It almost feels like you're living in a work of art. If I had to give a recommendation to newcomers to Sweden, art lovers or a group, it would be this!

A beautiful thatched barn in the heart of Purbeck

SueRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Little Thatch is a little oasis of calm. This is a busy area with Corfe Castle just down the road and it was lovely to retreat to this little barn in the woods. It had everything we needed including a comfy bed. Always a winner for me as I am "a princess and the pea person". A good bathroom and kitchen and a sofa with a view completed the picture. Just delightful.

Gorgeous romantic converted barn getaway for two

EmmaRating, 5 starstoday
Lovely set up for two - everything was thought of in the property to make the stay comfortable including providing a fan during a hot week which kept the rooms nice and cool. Cosy set up and very private (including gated parking space). Just to note that we didn’t find the beach walkable which we had misunderstood from the listing, it takes about 45 mins on country roads, but is just a 6 minute drive to get to a beach.

The Cowshed Glamping Shed

KathrinRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Lovely place, beautifully designed, felt very new and clean but cosy. Yes it is a bit different to not have a sink in the kitchen but to have to take 3 steps out the door, under a roof, to a separate room - but we thought it was a nice little change to everyday life. Mark was really nice and helpful. It was lovely that the bathroom heating was on when we arrived as it was quite cold! The only thing that could be improved is to provide a little bit more kindling for the fire, as there wasn't loads and the other wood was quite big :)

For a weekend getaway, this is a fantastic place. The host is quick to respond to questions. Everything is well and clearly explained (in French). Parking is just a little further away in a parking space. The barn has been so nicely renovated, it is really a gem!

The Chicken Shed at Knowle Top

NicolaRating, 5 stars4 days ago
I would rate the Chicken Shed as outstanding! The location, presentation of the property, information provided by the owners before the stay and within a guide provided were all fabulous. It felt like a real 5*stay. We were aware it was up a steep track and we enjoy walking so it was no issues. We also had no problems getting a taxi to and from Clitheroe. On the first night we walked to the Calfs Head in Worston via lanes and footpaths. It took about 45 minutes. It was a traditional pub menu and the food was great with really good service. We walked up Pendle hill and went up via the steep hill behind chicken shed. It was the shortest way up but it is very very steep. The views at the top were worth the effort. There are easier ways up though! It's just a beautiful, beautiful place to visit with everything very thoughtfully considered. I do hope we can go back at some point.

Peaceful rural retreat, converted farmhouse barn.

AlyssaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
My partner and I had a peaceful stay at Nicola’s. The surrounding garden was beautiful, and the drive was pleasant. The space was simple with clean bedding and all necessary amenities. The bed was comfortable, the water pressure was good, and the bathroom was clean. Nicola was very kind and allowed us to venture into the garden, which was so lovely! I would highly recommend this stay to escape the city and appreciate the labor of love that is her home.

Luxurious Country Cottage near Crieff PK12190P

PippaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Georgina’s place was really beautiful- it’s like an interior decorator had been at work! Just lovely. Every part of the cottage was stunning. Massive, well appointed kitchen, sitting room like something from a magazine and two beautiful bedrooms with very large en suite bathrooms. Again, beautifully decorated- really felt like a very up market boutique hotel. My sister said it was the best Airbnb she’d ever stayed in. Really lovely countryside all around and a great place to use as a base for our long walks. The fact you can bring your dog is so great. Close enough to Aldi to stock up but secluded enough to feel rural. Georgina was very helpful - had left milk, bread, eggs, jam etc for us. Such a lovely touch. I’d love to stay here again.

Háafell Lodge

TrinaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
This was one of our favorite AirBNBs.. ever! It was a bit of a splurge for our family's trip to Iceland -- but it was so worth it. The house was impeccable and the views were peaceful and stunning. What stood out was the attention to detail. Everything was spotless and you can tell great care went into the details to make it feel like a home. The hike up the river beside property was a favorite and the creamery (just down the road) was full of fun. Gudrun was an excellent host with all the info we needed and a personal greeting to let us in and show us around. Perfection all the way around!!! If we are lucky enough to find our way back to this part of the world, we would book again in a heartbeat!

We loved getting to see the horses too! Sally is a wonderful host and was really warm and kind. Would absolutely book again if we come this way! Thank you
