The Birgitta trail hiking trail and the Lempäälä canoeing trail run alongside. 2 km to the cross-country ski trails. 1.2 km to the train station, from which you can go to Tampere (12 min) and Helsinki (1h20min). This charming suite is on the 3rd floor of our 400sqm private house with plenty of soul, tradition, and history. The house was originally built in 1896 and keeps the main structure since 1936. More than an accommodation our guests book an experience in a particularly unique, personal, and authentic way. Peaceful retreat above Gruž Bay with a private sea-view terrace, perfect for couples and sunsets. Set on a hillside near beaches, restaurants and the ferry port, yet away from crowds. Old Town is 5-8 min by Uber or 15 min by bus No. 3. We’re near the top of the hill, so there are many steps — part of Dubrovnik’s charm 😄. If you arrive by taxi or bus, they won’t be a problem. Bright, modern, with WiFi and AC — perfect for a romantic getaway. No parking; street parking for residents only.

Modern Hayloft in Cotswolds

The hayloft is very old but we have converted it into a 2 bed suite (one double bed & one big round bed on the mezzanine) with a 'shed bathroom' and a large lounge. It is on top of part of our own house (above the kitchen) but has a separate private entrance and a door onto the garden. There is no kitchen facility - think hotel rooms rather than self catering! It is right in the heart of the village a couple of hundred metres from good restaurants, ancient pubs and independent shops.

It's a very quiet place, close to nature, in the middle of the "Monts des Flandres". Rest, hiking or sightseeing : everyone will find it's own. Near Belgium : Ypres (WW1 commemorations) at 30 min.
