Bienvenue chez nous. Gîte Castellaneta is over 500 years old but has been remodeled many times since it was first built. We just did it again in 2019! It's a cute little medieval 2 bedroom house. The master has a king bed and the front bedroom has 2 twins which can be reconfigured as a super king. Both have new en-suite bathrooms and the downstairs has been completely remodeled with kitchen, dining & sitting areas plus a WC and washer. And there's a lovely, intimate private courtyard.

Many possible activities: canoeing, Gabares rides on the Dordogne, castles, villages, caves, museums, restaurants, flea markets... etc.

A beautiful private swimming pool, heated from May to September, awaits you, out of sight, with its equipped relaxation areas. Our house is adjacent to the gîte. It sits in a woodland clearing just above the lake,a moss lined path leads you to the waters edge 30 m away.The frame is made from tree trunks,the walls and benches hand sculpted from earth and finished with clay paints.The overhead skylight and tall windows give a light and airy feel to the inside and ensure a view of the sky and woodlands without moving from the kingsize bed

Small 20 m2 house, in the countryside. Carefully restored, it includes a living room equipped with a double sofa bed, a kitchenette and a warm chalet-style bathroom. It has a wood-burning stove. It benefits from a shaded area equipped with a barbecue and garden furniture and a space that opens onto a wide countryside landscape. A stream along the meadow, hiking trails and the nearby medieval village invite you to take a walk.
