What a joy to have stayed in this accommodation! The cottage is lovely, perfect for a couple or duo of friends. Very clean. In addition, the garden is not negligible. You can hear the frogs and see the lizards and birds in lush nature despite the fact that the accommodation is in a neighborhood of the city. I can only recommend this accommodation, which is a gem on Ponta Delgada, don't hesitate!

Joao’s place is perfect for families and big groups. We stayed for one week as a group of 6 (plus 1 baby) and we all felt right at home! The house is comfortable, clean, and cozy. Joao is an amazing host, very responsive and very kind. He definitely made sure to accommodate our group in the best possible way. This was our first time in Sao Miguel and we are already looking forward to our next trip and staying here again! I highly recommend Joao’s property.

We very much enjoyed our stay at the flat. It’s very spacious and comfortable. It’s well equipped with everything we needed for our stay, from a fully stocked kitchen to dish soap and laundry powder. Besides our own groceries, we didn’t have to get anything from the shop which was much appreciated. The flat is close to the main road that takes you around the island and just a few minutes away by car from Ponta Delgada. There was always free parking available on the street. Communication with the hosts was professional and clear. I would stay there again and recommend.
