My wife Ida is an artist and much of her signature you find on walls and even in the ceiling. The house is fully restored with great comfort. Lovely patio with garden furniture and covered outspace.Beautiful wiew over the Hardanger fjord and glacier Folgefonna. There are three bedrooms and an additional loft with four mattresses. There are beach right in front of the house, boat included. Fishing in the sea, rivers and lakes. Close to the mountains with so many walks. Near by peaks above 1000 m. Discover the beautiful small farm villages in the Kvam Mountains. Well, easily accessible skiing in winter. Close to the summer ski center Folgefonna glacier. Quiet and peaceful location away from the main thoroughfare. "The Post Office" The old post office is furnished with kitchenette, bathroom, living room with two "sofa beds" and a loft with mattresses. Private secluded terrace. Suitable for 2 adults + + There is a grocery store 1,2 km from the place. You reach Strandebarm by your own car or by bus. The distance from Bergen is 100 km, 1,5 hours drive. Go for the best Norwegian fjord experience in this historical and authentic environment. During the summer from the 22nd of June and to the end of August we rent out the house week by week from Saturday to Saturday.

Own cozy little house on 2 floors. Living room, kitchen and bathroom on the ground floor and sleeping loft on the second floor. Private patio in a beautiful backyard. The house is located 100 meters from Gamle Bergen Museum which in summer is open with a cafe and its beautiful garden. Elsero beach is also located here In summer you can take "Beffen" from Gamle Bergen, a short old-fashioned ferry trip on the city fjord to the city, Beffen also stops at the fishing museum and the Aquarium at Nordnes. It is a beautiful 25-minute walk to the city.

Hardangerfjorden, Varaldsøy - Cabin with boat, 8 pers.

Great cabin on Varaldsøy overlooking Hardangerfjorden and Folgefonna glacier. The cabin has a sauna, and a large and sunny terrace. Registered fishing company for tourist fishing. Possibility of renting a boat for fishing, about 300 meters to the berth. One of two identical cabins for rent. There are great beaches on the island, and many nice mountain hikes you can go on. The cabin has three bedrooms, two with double beds, and one with a family bed and a bunk bed. Bed linen and towels can be rented if desired. You can drive to the door.

Welcome to Nautaneset! Originally an old croft that is now used as a holiday home. The cabin is located undisturbed by Sævareidsfjorden with road all the way up. Here you get access to a charming old house, large green areas, good swimming opportunities, fishing opportunities and a boathouse with access to kayaks, fishing equipment, outdoor toys, fire pan and outdoor furniture. Outside the boathouse there is a large plot and a wood-fired hot tub. The area is child and animal friendly. Water from well, drinking water from tank.

Here you can relax in a newly renovated building from the 1880s. There is fully equipped kitchen with everything one could need. Duvets and pillows for all beds. Bed linen can be rented. The place is a good starting point for swimming, kayaking, mountain hikes or glacier hiking. Short way to the store and gas station. Wonderful base for holidays and recreational activities like mountain hiking, bathing, fishing, glacier climbing, canoe paddling, etc. Tourist attractions nearby. Bed linen: NOK 150 per person.

Seaside Apartment w/ Free Kayaks

A cozy holiday apartment, by the sea on idyllic Håpoldøy – a small island near Herdla, about 45 minutes from the airport and around 40 minutes from Bergen city center. A small seaside paradise with beautiful coastal nature, great hiking opportunities, wartime history and rich wildlife. If you’re lucky you may spot a sea eagle – or even the northern lights on clear winter nights. 🚲 Two bicycles are available free to use. 🛶 Two kayaks are also available for calm trips when weather allows.

Seafront retreat - pier, boatrental & fishing camp

You will have full access to the whole downstairs apartment of 125m2 in total. 3 bedrooms and a large living room stands at your disposal. Outside you have your own private backyard with lots of outdoor games. From the pier you can fish, rent boat or swim. There is a 98l freezer box where you can store the fish you catch or any other food. Through our boat rental company, we are a lisenced fish camp. This means you can export up to 18kg of fish per fisherman with you out of Norway.

A pearl by the sea.

Quiet and nice place about 4 km past Strandvik city center. There is a shop-restaurant/pub and a great park. Sand volleyball courts are there too. The house is idyllically located close to the lake. Canoe can be borrowed and the fishing opportunities are good. The boat in the pictures can be used. We also have some bikes that can be borrowed. Excellent for anyone who wants a holiday in quiet surroundings. All cleaning is taken care of by the host

Adorable place for 3-5 travelers. 50m to fjord

Charming and comfortable place to overnight or stay. 1 sleeping corner with 120x200 cm bed and sleeping sofa in living room. There are beautiful nature around here, fjord and mountain view, beach with little boat, sauna and grill on the terrace. 35 minutes to Bergen and lot of hiking possibilities near by. We love pets and we have 2 3 little dogs.
