Kate’s Place is beyond description. Perfect in every way. The converted barn has every modern convenience. Comfortable, lots of room, very stylish, quiet and secluded. The beds were very comfortable with great pillows which is always very important we loved it. Easy access to the west, London or the further south. We made several day trips. Kate is an amazing host and made our stay perfect. We can’t wait to come back.

The most beautiful cottage, clean, welcoming with all the amenities. Petrol was responsive to our messages and even got fans in for us as it was going to be the hottest night of the year. It was easy to check in and really comfortable. Would definitely return snd recommend to anyone.

Had a lovely stay at Paul's place. It has everything needed, very comfortable bed in a quiet area. Very conveniently located close to the station, great restaurants and the Waitrose. Paul and his wife were very accommodating and helpful. Definitely recommend and will return.

Extremely peaceful and private location. The property is really nicely decorated with a massive comfy bed. Annie the host was really friendly and attentive. We had a lovely stay.

What a truly beautiful stay. The cottage was so clean , bright, everything you needed, plenty of places to go and things to do leaflets. The beds were so comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped . You are surrounded in nature and wildlife , its so peaceful and the Red Kite feeding was absolutely out of this world The garden and woodland is fantastic , there is so much to see as you walk around . There is a beautiful terrace to sit and look at the views and watch the birds . Outstanding. Marley and his Grandad Fred are wonderful and so very friendly and welcoming. We absolutely loved our stay and will definitely be going back and would highly recommend. Thank you for making our stay so amazing .

We had a lovely time at Sarah's place. It's as the photos suggest and is in a very peaceful surrounding. The barn is next to Sarah's family home, but the way it is oriented means you get plenty of privacy. Thank you for letting us in to your home. We all had a lovely quality time with friends.

Our family really enjoyed our stay. The added luxuries throughout the house were a great touch. From the snack basket, to the toiletries and the barbecue supplies. Everything was easy to use and welcoming. The uniqueness of having exclusive and nearby access to a pool and hot tub in a small property was perfect for our young family. We can put the kids to bed and enjoy the amenities together while making sure the kids are OK - something not possible in hotels and other resorts. The space was great. Clean, well-stocked and had everything you'd need for a summer retreat. The combination of the pool, dog, BBQ, pizza oven and included games meant our kids thoroughly enjoyed their time - us too. Definitely a winning combo. Thanks for having us!

My husband and I booked Fiona's place for 2 nights just for pure relaxation and to get away from the usual chaos of life. It was just what we were after. Close enough to Henley for a meal out and a stroll along the Thames but also total peace and tranquility back at the cottage. The use of the pool was a bonus too. We will definitely be back. The perfect tonic.

The Island House is a beautiful, comfortable oasis surrounded by green space and with views of a branch of the Thames. It is private, quiet and light-filled, affording a view of the diverse birds in the trees and passing swans on the river, while also within 8 minutes drive of Hampton train station with easy links to central London. There are cute pubs and restaurants in the local town (about 15-20 min walk or 2 min drive) and nearby towns, and expansive Bushy Park and Hampton Court are just 15 minutes drive. If you don't fancy a walk and don't have a car, but want a quiet weekend away without cooking - many local restaurants and grocery stores deliver to the location. Lisa is friendly and responsive and welcomed me with coffee, tea, fresh bread, milk, butter and fresh pressed juice. Staying at the Island House was such a treat; exactly the restful spot I was looking for while in the greater London area. Thank you Lisa!

We had such a lovely peaceful and quiet stay. We felt welcome straight away by Phillip who lives on the farm. We had a lovely walk on the grounds to see the cows, chickens and horses. We had a lovely sleep in the cosy cottage which is small but perfect for some restful time away from busy day to day life. We played cards on the little patio table set which provided much needed shade from the summer sun when needed. We were able to use the swimming pool which was a great added bonus, it was warm and refreshing. Phillip and Maggie were on hand for any questions and recommendations and Alex was available on the phone should we have needed him. Nothing was too much for them and they even ensured we had a fan to help with the heatwave. We highly recommend staying here and have already been telling friends and family all about it.

Absolutely loved it !. The hayloft was perfect, from the moment you walked in the door it felt so welcoming and cosy. Beth clearly has an eye for detail and presentation & I would happily stay again, and would also recommend the property to anyone else.

Couldn’t have asked for more; it’s a beautifully crafted space set in a completely private part of the property, with a charming interior giving you everything you need for a short stay. The hot tub and outside features were a brilliant addition. Alexia and James couldn’t have done more to accommodate and made us feel really welcome. There are enough shops and walking trails nearby for convenience, and James gave us some great local advice. We were offered fresh milk and baked bread which was such a lovely touch. 100% recommend, we hope to return some day :)

We had a great 5 night stay at Elaine’s, the house is spacious, modern, well furnished and quiet. The location is stunning, certainly an under rated part of the UK. Elaine’s recommendations for places to eat out and local walks were spot on and overall we had a perfect little getaway. Extra points for the huge and very comfortable double bed! Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful escape with all of the home comforts.

We had a really enjoyable stay. The place was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. Our host was very kind and went out of their way to help — even offering us a lift to a wedding, which we really appreciated. They also baked fresh sourdough bread during our visit, which was delicious and a lovely added touch. Overall, a very smooth and pleasant experience — we'd definitely stay again.

Kate is such a great host, her place is magical, really does feel like an escape. I have been working in shepperton studios which is 25-30 min drive and I know long cross is also close so was ideal for to have somewhere lovely to stay after a busy days work. I’ll definitely stay again.

We had a lovely nights stay at this Airbnb. Great size and location. Great kitchen and very clean. Madeleine was easy to communicate with and very responsive. I would highly recommend this Airbnb.

The property was as expected and gave easy access to a local park to walk my dog. There was a problem with the toaster but Richard replaced this the next day. A problem with the boiler was resolved as quickly as possible over a bank holiday weekend but did mean being unable to shower for 2 mornings as no hot water. I would happily return to Richard's property in the future as it was perfect for me and my dog on a visit to catch up with family in the area.
