La Demeure d'Eugénie – Gîte capacity 12 people

Gite located in the suite of the seigneurial building of the 17th / 18th centuries, it was once a residence of the lord of Mersuay, Deyle MAIGNIEN De MERSUAY. Her back, great-granddaughter Eugénie De COUCY was born in 1791. She married in 1812, the Marshal of Empire Nicolas OUDINOT ( the 35 wounded marshal! ) and became Duchess of REGGIO. The village is crossed by the river Lanterne ( 1st category ) and bordered by 2 ponds with an area of 75ha ( fishing possible ).

We built this bright cabin ourselves using local and/or recycled materials to ensure optimal comfort, all without running water or electricity… but with heating! Come and experience our new world!

Our cottage "Jardins de lune", adjoining our home, accommodates up to 6 people in 3 bedrooms and is located 2 km from the Saône and Véloroute 50 La Voie Bleue. With independent access and opening onto a large garden and fields, it will offer you an ideal setting for rest and relaxation. Recently furnished with natural materials (wood, earth-straw wall) that give it a simple and warm appearance, our cottage is well insulated and remains comfortable in any season.
