Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Fayette County

We recently moved to La Grange and needed a place to stay for a few days until we could get into our new home that allowed our cat. Choices that fit all our needs were limited, and so we had planned to stay in a local hotel. The day we arrived, we found out the hotel we’d planned to stay at was booked and other the hotels in town were not “pet friendly”; so I did another Airbnb search and found Ashley’s place. It was perfect! Quiet, easy to get to and she responded quickly to any communication and our four-legged family member felt very comfortable. Moving is stressful and exhausting. Thank you so much for making this part of the move a breeze.

This was the second time to stay there. We enjoy the house it is clean and decorated so cute. Rebecca is a great hostess and is very attentive and will respond to your messages quickly. We will continue to stay there in the future.

Elizabeth was extremely responsive and the house exceeded my expectations. It was spacious and comfortable. A lot of interesting things are in progress in the backyard and the gazebo in the back yard makes up for the front porch being on a busy street. My only caution is if watching TV is important to you. The TV is very small and miles away from the couch. We were there for cycling so the house was perfect for our trip.

Our stay at The Station was amazing. We arrived and were able to get right in without a problem. The kitchen was once the Stations office. It is the first thing you see when you enter and this kitchen does not disappoint! It was well equipped and very clean. Plenty of room to do a lot of cooking. Gas range/ oven, full size fridge, large prep area - all very nice. The next room or rooms is what used to be the old garage. The 1st half is the living room with couches and TV. There is also a small table for dining. The other half is the bedroom with a comfy king bed. There are lots of windows. Off the living room is a short hallway that leads to the bathroom. Nice walk-in shower and plenty of hot water. All updated with beautiful fixtures. Just past the bathroom is the laundry room with full size W/D. That room loops back to the kitchen. The entire space is wheelchair accessible as my wife is in one and got around just fine. Plenty of restaurants and shopping near by.

Perfect spot to truly relax, slow your pace and connect with nature and each other! The property and amenities were just as described. Christine and her family are very friendly yet respectful of your privacy, making the place feel like home. We took long walks in the mornings, enjoyed the pool during the day and had great meals at every spot Christine recommended. Fabulous sunsets with a glass of wine to end the day taking in the beautiful surroundings. Thank you so much for your hospitality! We will be back!

Joanne was extremely helpful toward me and my two children with loads of recommendations for places to go and see and things to do in the direct vicinity. Likewise, they are extremely flexible hosts. The home is the perfect combination of sophisticated charm and casual living. It was just perfect for a "city family" looking for a home base in town. We were able to walk everywhere: movie theater, bowling, farmers market, loads of restaurants, shops, library, and even some very fun/cute private neighborhood treasures. A train goes through 0-3 times a day and we delighted in running to the front porch to watch. The backyard is huge and provided hours of entertainment for my children and a lovely space to host a few friends one evening. The neighbors are friendly and the area is so safe and cozy. We couldn't give a better recommendation - we stayed a month and would have loved to stay longer :)

Lilly was very helpful and the place was nice, clean, and just like the pictures. You could tell thought was put into the design and details of the home.

This was an amazing place and perfect for our large family!

The stay was exactly as described and looked the same as the pictures. It was the perfect little spot for us to stay while stopping through for the night.

Our stay was very comfortable and clean and in a great location. It's hard to find good places to stay in La Grange so this is a very welcomed option!

This farm cannot compare to the beautiful Nature of the owner and hostess. She is the best at making you feel right at home. The place is going to become my area go to. Thank you Rin for absolutely a divine visit!!

After being caught in an unexpected rainstorm while cycling across America, we were sooo grateful that this Airbnb was available for a comfortable, warm, dry place to stay in Smithville. We’d be happy to stay here again! The owners responded promptly and thoroughly. We are grateful.

This was a perfect, cozy little place, and yet it felt so big inside. There were six of us, and we had more than enough space. The location was very convenient for our weekend plans at Monument Hill. The kitchen was great, but only two forks and two spoons. We could have used more silverware, and maybe a cookie sheet for baking. There were some pots and pans, and other utensils that we used to cook, which was convenient. The beds were very comfortable, the bathrooms were very nice. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
