We stayed at 6 Blyth View for one week as a family and we throughly recommend it to anyone looking for a lovely getaway in a peaceful location. The cottage is part of a lovely estate in a very peaceful and thoughtfully designed setting with amazing grounds overlooking fields to the East so you can stunning sunset views. It’s a short drive from wonderful Southwold and several neighbouring villages with great pubs offering decent food options as well as lovely drives to explore the surrounding areas. The cottage is perfectly equipped with all facilities working perfectly, a very well equipped kitchen, comfortable bedrooms offering plenty of storage space plus a perfect living room space and indoor and outdoor dining. Parking is situated close to the property. In addition, the (bookable timeslots) gym, swimming pool and games room were much fun and we very much enjoyed. Highly recommend this property and thank you to the attentive host for great support and communication when needed 🙏🏼

I had a wonderful, relaxing stay at Sharon's place. She was really helpful on my first day, allowing me to put some food inside the fridge, ahead of time, due to the high temperature. The weather was amazing for my whole stay and the great decking area and private garden, really were perfect to sunbathe and enjoy the fantastic views, over fields to the sea. The location of the caravan is great, as you are private and quiet but equally close to both the beach and the site amenities. The caravan was spotlessly clean, with really comfortable beds and everything you may need for your stay. I have been to Mersea Island on many a day trip but now I have stayed here, I think it has truly become my happy place. I totally recommend Sharon's holiday home and look forward to coming back in the future.

Had a lovely relaxing stay in a great property. I really quiet location with fantastic outdoor space that was perfect for a family break. The kitchen had all we needed for our meal prep and Clacton is a short drive away for the big supermarket shop. Recommend that you take your garden games but don't forget to pack your swimming bits to spend time in one of the hot tubs afterwards. All the family said they would love to stay there again. Antonina was always speedy and helpful with responses and helped us retrieve the items that we managed to leave behind.

Absolutely perfect stay in a beautiful area. The house was spotless and even bigger than the photos show! It was perfect for 4 adults and my 16 month old daughter. Stuart sent great instructions through and loads of information about the local area, although we actually loved the house and grounds so much that we didn’t venture any further - we had a lovely few relaxing days in the house and walks around the woodland. My daughter even got to feed the goats. Will definitely come back, and will do a summer visit too as the pool looked beautiful.

It was a lovely house and perfect for what we required for a big group. Would love to stay again!

We were in Felixstowe for a family emergency. Communication was very quick which was appreciated as it was all very short notice. We are familiar with the area and it’s well located with good access to the beach, shops and restaurants. The home was cosy and warm even though it was extremely cold outside when we were there.

Clean. well equipped kitchen. Great,speedy response from Mark. The only niggle was the driveway was a bit tight for parking. Not a problem though as there was plenty of space right outside the property. Will happily make this my first port of call when I visit ipswich again. p.s. The nearby pub,The Woolpack, is excellent for both food and drink.

The house was beautifully positioned/appointed with wonderful open plan living room and kitchen. bathrooms were all spotless, modern and well presented. Light, airy house with wonderful views of the surrounding sea. A special find, allowing good friends to enjoy some precious days walking and cycling in the glorious surrounding countryside. Host was very attentive and easy to contact - would highly recommend.

A lovely little house with everything needed for a home away from home. Situated in a quiet residential area within easy walking distance of the seafront and town centre. Beautifully decorated with a cosy relaxing vibe a lovely place to stay.

We had a wonderful weekend at the old steam mill. Photos don’t do it justice - it’s even more spacious and beautiful in real life! Very comfortable and quiet, the hosts Mark and Celina accommodated us at very short notice and were lovely and responsive when needed. The garden was perfect to enjoy a drink and meals in the warm summer evenings and our dog loved exploring. It was everything we hoped for a countryside getaway not too far from London.

Lovely, clean, quiet cottage set well back and tucked in. The inside is well appointed and comfortable and cozily furnished. Outside there are table and chairs to enjoy breakfast outside or the late afternoon sunshine. Woodbridge town centre is lively and there are plenty of good places for coffee and to eat. We enjoyed a walk to the Sutton Hoo ship burial site and museum: the path along the tidal river bank is scenic and interesting and takes about an hour.

Beautiful place! Would highly recommend, very clean and tidy. Gavin has been a wonderful host and very responsive.

We had a wonderful time at the Farriers House. Adam was exceptionally quick and proactive to communicate. He stopped in to help us check in, and a made time for a quick chat on another day. The local produce gift basket was a very nice touch. The house is wonderfully set out, modern but keeping some of the original features. The back garden, a great spot for afternoon drinks or morning coffee/tea. It is well located near to Ipswich, Shotley and Pin Mill. We visited all 3, as well as Jimmy's Farm and the Suffolk Food Hall, both less than 5min away. The Boot is very convenient for a swift half and we had a nice family lunch on one of days there. All in all, a great stay!

The Giraffe House is a beautiful little home with everything you could need. I loved all the details that were so inkeeping with the theme! Bed and sofa were nice and comfy. Cathy was very welcoming and friendly, providing local information too. Very well placed, close the town, within easy walking distance which was handy for exploring. Thank you for a lovely stay

Really lovely home, wish we would have booked for longer as we didn’t want to leave! Great location, near the pier and shops and restaurants just down the road. Kelly answered my many questions really quickly and was super helpful. Definitely adding this to our favourites and hope to come back again in the summer!

Jacqui was very responsive from the outset, even before we actually booked. The old stables was a nice place to stay and everything was very dog friendly. Very relaxing place and everyone who we met were really nice, including the dogs. Lovely place to stay if you want to chill and alow your dog to have a bit of freedom. We were lucky we had nice weather too. Jacqui also left a few treats for us and our dog, which was a nice touch too. Thank you Jacqui!

Great location for attending a wedding at Villiers Barn. House is really well equipped with everything you need for a relaxing stay. Gemma was really responsive prior to our stay and provided lots of useful information re the local area, places to eat etc. The hot tub was a big hit with all of us, particularly our 5 year old grandson!

The House in the Clouds is quirky, fun and the views are amazing. We had a small issue with 2 pigeons in the top room and Tash sorted this out really quickly. She was helpful, friendly and quick to respond. The beach was a short walk away, and our Sunday lunch at The Dolphin was great value and only a short walk away. Our family from the 18 month old toddler, to the 60 year old birthday girl loved every minute of the stay. Will hopefully be back but this time with friends.

This was my second stay at Raymers Cottage, and it was every bit as perfect as the first. Kate and Steve are such warm and welcoming hosts, and made sure we had all the information we needed before arrival. We were really thrilled with the delicious homemade cake, which we enjoyed while relaxing in the beautiful secluded garden. The bed was really comfortable and we slept very well. We were only there three nights and only cooked once, but the kitchen was well-equipped and had everything we needed. The cottage is decorated and furnished to a very high spec, while remaining sympathetic to its age and location. Kat and Steve have created a wonderfully cosy and special space which is not only a haven to relax in but within easy reach of so many wonderful places to visit, such as Sutton Hoo, Orford, Southwold, Woodbridge, Framlingham, The Food Museum and Aldeburgh. We’d definitely stay in Raymers Cottage again!

Excellent value and prime location in Framlingham. Nicely decorated with stunning views. Would have preferred to be able to use the front door rather than walking through the garden each time. But I would definitely recommend to anyone to stay here. Thank you for letting us stay!
