We enjoyed a fantastic four days in Aris’ place, the views of the plateau and mountains are just beautiful! We felt right at home, and it was lovely to have Aris and his wife physically there at check in, a rarity these days! The images really don’t do this place justice, it is up some winding roads but we were prepared for that having visited the plateau in 2012. We can’t recommend staying here more, we really wish we’d have booked a longer stay! Aris had a fantastic hire car recommendation too, which was also great, and we had some amazing recommendations from them too. Thank you very much Aris!

Pasiphae House was something out of a dream! It was beautifully designed in the traditional Crete Village homes style. The location is isolate in the mountains, but amongst a great community of people. We were greeted by Yianna and Koula that gave us the walk through of the house, and we're always in constant communication. Ioanna supplied us with a long list of things to do and try in the area which we took full advantage of. Overall it was a beautiful stay and would highly recommend.

After 12 days of stay, we can recommend this atmospheric, Greek, with all the amenities of a home. Two terraces allowed you to enjoy the view of the sea every day. The nearby beach requires a short effort to walk (a rocky descent from the mountain), but it guarantees peace and crystal water. In the nearby towns (5-10 minutes drive) you can find many well-stocked shops and, more importantly, great taverns with excellent food. In a word, we recommend "Katarina" with home. The owner took care of every detail - a nice welcome surprise and very quick contact. In addition, thank you again for letting us check in faster because we arrived at night. Katrina,s home, is the equivalent of traditional Greek hospitality. 🙂👍

We spent more than 2 weeks in Aspasia's house and we felt very comfortable. The beds were comfortable, the apartment was clean and we found everything we needed. Aspasia even organized a yoga mat for me. Communication with Aspasia went smoothly. The bathroom is not the latest, but you don't notice much of it because there is an outdoor shower. A cat visited us every day, we hope she continues to find food sources We also enjoyed the surroundings very much, often we were right on the beach down in Keratokampos, also partly on foot. But the beaches around are all very nice, mostly pebbles on the shore and sand towards the sea. You could snorkel in quiet weather, in the wind we have the waves. There are also two shops: minimarket, supermarket. In the supermarket, the postcards are brought to the post office on Wednesdays at noon. The restaurants are also very good, we were mostly in the taverna Christina.

One of the most beautiful homes we have ever stayed at. Owner is great and took care of everything very fast and efficiently. Perfect place to relax and enjoy a secluded holiday in Crete. We will always go back to this place!

The Rustic Nook was such a lovely, unique place to stay. It felt like you were tucked away in a quaint cottage in the shire. Beyond the physical attractiveness of the home, Amanda was always just a text away. I felt that if an emergency were to arise, she would’ve been there in a moment’s notice. When it came to the Rustic Nook, she thought of everything and had a note or explanation available. We loved our stay and if we ever get the chance to come back to Crete, we hope to be able to stay at the Rustic Nook again!

Rafaela and her mother, Mary, were wonderful hosts! It was the first place that truly felt like home. They generously shared food, fresh fruit, and delicious homemade cookies (which I couldn’t resist asking for more of!). If we hadn’t stayed at their place, our trip wouldn’t have been nearly as warm and memorable. The beach nearby was more beautiful and walkable than any we visited in Crete. There were also amazing restaurants just around the corner. There are so many great things to say, but words can’t truly capture the experience—you have to feel it for yourself. We will definitely be back!

Very clean apartment in beautiful surroundings. In my opinion, the apartment is even more beautiful than in the pictures. Excellent facilities, everything has really been thought of here. You share the house with another apartment, the terraces are nicely separated from each other. 100% recommendation!

Beautiful spacious villa set set in the hills above Sitia. Cool, comfortable, stylish and well equipped inside , fabulous large outdoor area with terraces, eating area, shady green garden area and pool with loungers. We enjoyed a great week under cloudless skies chillling at the villa and visting Sitia (good selection of waterfront restaurants ) and surrounds. The best beaches are half hour or more drive away but well worth the trip. The local village Piskokefalo (a short drive away) has a great taverna with simple, good value local dishes. Mania our host was very welcoming, friendly and attentive. The welcome pack with home made Moussaka and the surprise little departure gift were lovely touches. Thank you . Highly recommended. PS The Richtis gorge walk is a great outing but wouldn't recommend driving down to Richtis beach - very scary !

We had a wonderful 15 days! ☀️ The accommodation is very nice, super modern, comfortable and everyone was very nice! The pool was also great and always clean. Only a few meters walk away was a beautiful beach, where you can also have a great breakfast. To get to the next town or to other beaches, you need a vehicle - the nice lady at the reception also took care of that and we were picked up to get to the rental and when handing in the quad we were also brought back to the accommodation. All in all, we were completely satisfied and didn't want to leave. Thank you for everything! 🤍

Very friendly host, we accidentally got their key with us and he agreed on us shipping it back. Moreover, we took on our way out a bag of groceries that we thought it was ours and he was extremely kind although it was our mistake. The place is super spacious and with great views, totally recommend it!

We had a wonderful time. The villa felt private even though there are two other villas next door. My friends and I loved the pool and how spacious the whole place was. We had stunning views of the nearby sea and town. Each bedroom has it's own bathroom. The only negative was the water pressure in the upstairs showers. Nota was very accommodating. She offered to clean the apartment during our stay and helped us arrange our hire cars. (From my group's experience, a car is highly recommended as taxis and public transport weren't great). The village, beaches and restaurants in the area were also great. Overall, my friends and I were very happy with our stay and would definitely come back.

Perfect accomodation for our 2 families. Nice garden and terraces. Beautiful views. Quite a challenging and steep access road but we got used to that

We had a wonderful stay at the Seascape Villa! The views are truly stunning and the photos do not do them justice! Maria was an incredible and caring host/ point of contact and was so responsive, providing special tips and recommendations to make our visit enjoyable! She’s happy to help, and even called ahead to restaurants for vegan options for us - thanks! The separate and very private bedrooms with their own entrances are great for sharing the space. Lots of outdoor places to relax and enjoy the view. The secluded rocky beach is breathtaking and absolutely worth the hike down and up - more for the adventurous type but absolutely doable and worth it! So peaceful and gorgeous down at that beach. Sometimes there is some noise from the neighbors and their dogs, cats, and from the road behind the house which is normal/ typical if off a main road and with neighbors - just flagging that although it is private and somewhat secluded it can get noisy at times. 100 percent would return!!

This place is the best place to stay, quite and private, outdoor patio for enjoy cafe or beer but close to great public beach with free parking or waking 20 minutes, same time remote spot to go anywhere and not staying in crazy busy city where is night live and traffic like crazy. 9 minutes to Agios Nikolas if you like that , 1.5 h to Vai beach where Palm trees like in tropical place, 30 minutes to Iropetra and Myrtos on African side on island, beautiful. 30 minutes to 4000 years olive tree and waterfall canyon.

There are no words to describe how great it was at Popi and in Tertsa!! I loved it! The apartment is very lovingly furnished, it really has everything you need. It is very clean, cozy and has a great balcony with a beautiful sea view. There is a lot of space for parking. The beach of Tertsa and fie Taveren are also great, away from mass tourism. But the best thing is Popy's cordiality and hospitality. She spoils you with delicacies. Soooo fantastic! Even cooked for me, I will never forget that. Thank you Popi! ❤️ The garden with fruit and vegetables, which you can eat, is also great. So many tomatoes, lemons, grapes, pomegranates..... It was the best stay on my three-week round trip.

Fantastic stay at this wonderful village house in beautiful peaceful Milatos, we cannot recommend this accommodation highly enough, exactly as pictured and described , host was amazing as was the delicious meal she left for our first night! Great amenities within house too. Great location to drive through mountains to elounda and agios Nikoliaos , we went straight south to beaches there too. All the restaurants on the front were amazing bar with no name fab through to Socrates so friendly and cheap €45 for two with wine . Old neighbour we sat and had a beer with although dialect was limited. Thank you again we will be back and telling everyone to come 🥰

We loved our stay at Nikolaus' house. The place was amazing, it felt full of history. The beds were comfortable and the bedroom had a lovely view out towards the mountains. The setting was so peaceful and away from all the tourist hotspots, but easy to get everywhere too. Nikolaos was a greast host - we arrived at 1am because of a delayed flight and he was up to meet us at the door. We also accidently locked ourselves out while sitting out on the beautiful terrace and he kindly arranged for us to be let back in again! Would definitely come back and would reccomend to anyone.

This property was perfect for our couple of days in Kritsa. It had everything we needed and the balcony and courtyard were fantastic!

In April/May, I spent 4 wonderful weeks in the great clean apartment. From the large balcony, the sea was very easy to see and I could also hear the sound of the waves. The apartment is in a very quiet area. It is just 2 minutes to the large beach with trees for plenty of shade. The delightful place can be reached in about 10 minutes. There you will find nice taverns, shops and supermarkets, a small harbor and a long sandy beach. From here you can make very nice excursions to the mountains, to beautiful beaches and larger towns! A very special thank you to Ianna (who spoiled me with delicious pastries and Greek delicacies) and her husband Aris for the warm hospitality. Efcharistó polý!!!

this place and their owners is the best we could chose for our holiday6. It is in calm area, with beautiful beach on the reach, good connection to bigger cities.. The appartment was supr calm and we felt like at home. Good accomodation, food and we appreciated their beautiful garden. it is good for families with children and also for couples. Antoni and his wife are very kind and there were always there when we needed. Go there, it is very good choice!
