Holiday rentals with beach access in Fiumefreddo di Sicilia

We came by taxi from the airport. Antonietta waited for us in the apartment and told us about what we saw around us, gave tips on restaurants and told us about dishes you should try when you are in Aci Castello. The apartment was well equipped, but we were probably too late to use the mosquito spray. Walking distance to Aci Trezza and Catania is also not far away (by bus). After purchasing swimming shoes, we tried a small swim in the sea that lies just below the apartment. Here it must be said that we had problems both getting in and out of the sea due to large rocks that had to be forced. The apartment is well equipped and we bought food and ate breakfast "at home", also made a couple of dinners in the city to eat out. The terrace was fantastic and we sat outside all the time, except when we wanted to watch the national match between Norway and Italy (which Norway won). I highly recommend both the place and the apartment.

A very convenient place to explore as a base. We had a car that was easy to park. Beautiful views. 🤩 The apartment was there, everything you could need plus a lot of space. You could both walk out to the balcony from the living room and bedroom and kitchen. On one side there was a beautiful view of the majestic Mount Etna and the sea on the other. And the rooftop terrace 👌🏻🤩 You could feel the really Italian vibe 😉 Very responsive and helpful host. Highly recommend the place 😉

From the moment we were met by Gabriele we were made to feel so welcome. Before our arrival Cettina, Gabriele and Teresa were always messaging to ensure we had all the correct details before arriving. They were very helpful and always on hand when we needed anything. Nothing was impossible for them. They are the most friendly and obliging hosts. We cannot thank them all for making our holiday in Giardini Naxos safe, happy and very enjoyable. The apartment was outfitted with everything you needed and was very comfortable, clean and tidy. Concetta was very engaged since we made the reservation. she helped us plan our visit to Naxos and Taormino. She was very accommodating with our travel timing. Her recommendations for boat rental, local travel, restaurants,... were all spot on we enjoyed all of them. She even stopped by to touch base, help us with our stay, and the travels. Her place is very conveniently located to all the activities,stores and public transport.

We loved our stay here. It had the most incredible view that we didn’t want to leave. Super easy access to the beach and the cable car into the town centre. Recommend staying here over Taormina as it’s away from the tour groups and craziness so it is really peaceful but easy to get to town for dinner etc. The rooms and kitchen all looked over the ocean, were clean and well maintained. Pietro was an excellent host and made everything simple. Even had a beautiful antipasti platter for us on arrival. Would visit again!

Fabio's place was fantastic. The view is unbeatable. Parking, walkable into town and the view, the view is absolutely breathtaking. We loved our stay. My partner and I were traveling around Sicily for a few months, and my dog needed emergency surgery, and Fabio's place was the perfect spot for us to unwind, relax, and the views made it a great place to nurse our little pup back to health. You need a car here, and the location is only 15 minutes outside the city of Catania, perfect launch pad to explore the surrounding areas. Although, we didn't get to meet Fabio, he was always a text away, checking in on us, making sure we had everything we need. Highly recommend. I should also note, my partner and I work remotely, and he was so gracious to add a desk and chair so we both could work comfortably, with the beautiful views. We will for sure be back! Loredana was a delightful host and the apartment was spotless and fully equipped with every thoughtful detail we could imagine for a comfortable stay. She greeted us upon arrival & oriented us, as well as departure. The neighborhood is quaint and walkable, away from all the tourist madness with a couple great restaurants and a nice grocery store nearby. It was a wonderful view and great to be right across from the beach. I was not prepared for how busy the streets in front of and behind the apartment can be. Even with a sound barrier, it did make sleeping difficult for me, though my husband slept fine. All in all, we enjoyed our stay.

The apartment is located directly in front of a beautiful beach in a very nice, beautiful and peaceful town. The place is private, and Mattia was so helpful, he helped us with so many recommendations and we ended up having great days and great nights. Highly recommended if you have a car.

This was such a lovely and relaxing place. The outside space with the patios was amazing. There’s plenty of space indoors with a well equipped kitchen and I loved that the bedrooms are downstairs so you don’t have to bring the luggage upstairs. It was an easy drive to visit Taormina and Sergio was nothing but helpful with tips of where to park and places to eat. We would definitely return!

We spend wonderful week at Alfio's place. All good reviews are hundred percent correct. View is amazing! Flat is very clean and cosy. There is air conditioning for every room separately. It's everything what you need and even more. Flat is simple but everything is solid and good quality. The area is great. All aperitivo we had on the terrace was with amazing view, quiet area and we were really satisfied. Hosts are very helpful and were responding to us very fast :) We will go back for sure :) Grazie di cuore :)

We were very pleased with our stay. Alessandro was very communicative, at check-in, in case of problems, when transferring our daughter to the airport. We enjoyed the small terrace very much, but it felt almost directly by the sea. We can only recommend the apartment. Volker and Iris

We had a wonderful stay. Daniele greeted us very nicely and advised us with recommendations and tips for the area. The apartment was very nice, clean and well equipped. The terrace and direct access to the sea are the highlights of the apartment. The apartment is quietly located and a 5-minute walk over the rocks takes you to a small quiet beach. Highly recommended!

Barbara was an excellent host and we loved her home: we rented the entire home for our family (adult kids and partners, plus my husband and I) and it was perfect for everyone. The house has a fantastic view of Isola Bella, stairs to the beach are just few steps from the house, and there’s a parking lot just across the street (if you are driving be ready for very narrow streets ;) with cars, scooters and people all together). Barbara was super friendly, welcoming, attentive and helpful from the moment I booked and even more when we arrived. She communicated constantly with me. I highly recommend her place to feel at home waking up to a gorgeous, peaceful view. And there’s lot to do in Taormina and the surroundings. Fantastic trip, we already miss it …

Marcello's place is amazing! 🙂 He's the soul of the place that makes it what it is. He is very warm, helpful and considerate. We got great tips and always felt perfectly taken care of. From the penultimate day we were able to use the great platform for direct access to the sea. :) The access to the sea leads about 200-250? through the loving private garden of Marcello. There is a private parking space that can be reached through 2 gates. Everything in the place was clean and well maintained and there were a lot of details.

My group of 6 had a wonderful stay! Antonino was a wonderful host, setting us up with early check in as we arrived from the airport, and was responsive to any questions we had about the house. The location is incredible (the photos don't do it justice-waking up to the volcano and/or the ocean waves, balconies off of every bedroom, steps from the sea, really gorgeous!) The kitchen has everything you need for coffee, cooking in, etc, and the neighborhood has great local spots for drinks, dinner, and small grocery shops. Two of the bedrooms have detachable twin sets that you can use together or separate, but I'd recommend reaching out in advance based on your group if you need them separated. We traveled to/from the train in Riposto for day trips which is very walkable along the coastline. If you're looking for a less touristy, more authentic neighborhood to stay in, this is definitely the spot.

We had a really lovely stay! The apartment is well-equipped and had everything we needed. We especially enjoyed the beautiful terrace – perfect for breakfast or a relaxing evening drink. With the private access to the sea and the peaceful outdoor space, the place truly felt like an oasis. One downside was the noisy street, especially during weekend nights – something to keep in mind if you're sensitive to sound. We also really appreciated the free parking on the street – we were always able to find a spot nearby without any trouble. Salvatore was a great host: very friendly and helpful. His local tips were excellent – especially the restaurant recommendations, which were spot on! He also has a dog who is very friendly, though it did bark occasionally. All in all, a great place to stay that we would definitely recommend.

Emanuela is a great host! The apartment is a gem in a beautiful village. The early morning sunrise from the balcony facing the sea is stunning! I feel at home the moment we stepped in to the apartment. Highly recommended!

We had an amazing time at Giovanni‘s apartment was big and beautiful and the pool was amazing. And for an extra fee he picked us up from the airport and dropped us back afterwards. Beautiful clean apartment and large balcony. Great functional kitchen and large bedrooms. Easy walk into town there’s lots of bars, restaurants, cafes and shops. Will definitely be back!

Well-located accommodation, close to Catania, Etna, and 1 hour from Taormina. A little out of the tourist center, but several restaurants nearby in Aci Trezza. Excellent recommendations for tours and restaurants by our hosts. Very nice welcome by Julia, many recommendations and detailed information. Accommodation a little cramped if you imagine staying at 4, but ideal for 2 people! Perfect equipment, with beach essentials, umbrellas if needed, etc.

Very beautiful house . And the location was spot on. You drink coffee hearing the peaceful sound of the sea.

The apartment is beautiful, exactly like the pictures, very contemporary with a balcony overlooking the sea at the front and a view of mount Etna at the back. The town, Stazzo, is a small Sicilian fishing village with few tourists. Although we don’t speak Italian, we were welcomed and found it to be a very friendly neighborhood with neighbours meeting on the seafront, passing the time of day with each other. It was lovely to see. When we were there the beaches were just starting to be converted for the summer season with wooden platforms being installed over the rocks but we were happy to swim and sunbathe on the many flat areas carved out on the rocks. All in all, it was a great base to explore the region, you will need a car but you can park right on front of the house, no problem.

This is a very well supplied haven! Everything you could possibly need is here! Extra linens, towels, first aid, coffee, seasonings, and even laundry provisions. This place and people are outstanding! They were extremely helpful and eager to chat even though we had no common language. We loved our stay here! The only sadness was not enough time planned to enjoy the lovely patio.
