Great location about 200m off the main business street so easy access for bakeries, restaurants, groceries, etc. but quiet.

Had a wonderful week in the beautiful place on the Maas River Meuse. Summer temperatures at the end of April, early May. The area is beautiful, the lush mountain hills with fresh greenery on the Maas. The house is really a little paradise. We spent a lot of time outside in the beautiful romantically landscaped garden. Bike rides made, hiking trail behind the house over the ridges overlooking the Maas. There are 3 bedrooms all at the top of the house. One bedroom has an adjoining bathroom with toilet. The other bathroom is downstairs with separate toilet. A very well equipped kitchen and lots of possibilities for play. Really had a wonderful week with friends and the place is highly recommended!

We had a great stay in a very nice area by the water. The cottage was also great, the rain shower was wonderful. The washing machine is really an added value. The picnic table by the water is also nice.

We have already been there for the second time and will come back. The beds are very comfortable, the place is very quiet and the kitchen is well equipped. The area offers many opportunities to do something: there are many hiking trails directly from the house and some beautiful villages in Belgium and France. Overall, we had a nice time in Bohan again.

We have greatly enjoyed our stay in this historic authentic house, with so many different spaces to enjoy! And with a very friendly host who responded quickly to questions. The house felt like 'a home', complete with everything furnished, and where we will certainly come back more often! If you are looking for peace and quiet, this is really recommended, and many beautiful places are close by.

A wonderful weekend at Stéphane and Dominique's. We regret not having extended our stay to enjoy the place and the surroundings. Small, nice and peaceful brunch on Sunday morning on the terrace. Our daughter, who got married the day before, enjoyed the calm and peaceful nature after this festive event! We highly recommend the Gîte du Commandant 🙏

A great beautiful apartment of 3 floors, located directly on the ourthe and super centrally located. The house is surprisingly spacious for a family of 4. We had fantastic weather and enjoyed it very much on the balcony. Wedon't have such a beautiful view at home. 😍 A real gem!

A cottage in the green, no others seen while staying other than in the brasserie. Wonderfully quiet, waking up to the sound of birds, close to Durbuy, which is a magical town and where you can enjoy delicious dining. It was a fantastic stay in a cute cottage.( Bring your own: coffee, tea, toilet paper, oil to bake in, herbs are provided) We would love to come back!! The children also found it a wonderful time. Charming home inviting and comfortable. The decoration is chosen and brings a much appreciated touch of conviviality. We loved watching the small family of t**s whose nesting box is very close to the house. There was absolutely everything we needed (quality sheets, towels, etc...) A delicate touch was waiting for us upon arrival. A pearl to discover and rediscover I recommend 150 percent. Thank you for everything

I can only recommend a stay in Daniela’s tiny house located deep in the nature. Together with my 2 young sons we had a relaxing weekend with great memories: the house is cosy with all the confort from your own house, the restaurant on site was very welcome upon our arrival the first evening, the swimming pool, football and basketball pitch kept us busy early morning and late evening while during the day we enjoyed the many things you can do in the region known for tourism and adventure sports. Last but not least as French people we love good food; 5 minutes away by car we found high quality bread, meat, fruits and cheese for nice breakfasts and dinners at the tinny house. A 5-star place we will keep in our favorites. See you very soon Daniela!

Lovely cottage in a lovely location. Due to the location, you can have breakfast between the tree(summits). We had a wonderful week there. Beautiful terrace with good furniture. Modern furnishings, although the sofa is a bit soft. Bathroom and kitchen are neat. The A cottages have very steep stairs so take care of them really well. Stair gate available. Floor requires some maintenance (comes up). From the cottage you walk in 2.5 km to downtown Durbuy for an ice cream, mini golf, lunch at Sept or good coffee at the Garden Café. Bakery within walking distance 1.5 km, but then you walk along a dangerous road. Various facilities on the park that also make it fun for children (playgrounds, one of which is right behind the cottage; indoor swimming pool with sunbathing area, etc.). There is also a restaurant with a nice menu, friendly staff (also at the reception!) and they organized the week that we were there (quiet) live music. Charging points for EV (piece or 8) under construction and they will open soon.

Excellent place, warm & professional hospitality , natural landscape, with sufficient facilities

We stayed for a week at Corinne’s place and we had an amazing time. The house is beautiful and has everything you need. Vielsalm is very cute and there are lots of nice villages nearby to visit and a nice lake to walk your dog. However right next to the house is a smaller airbnb that has a garden right next to yours, it is not fully private you can look into eachothers gardens. It was not disturbing with the neighbors we experienced but good to know. Other than that we highly recommend this place!!

Beautiful home, loved the surroundings and the overall ambiance. Would love to visit again. The perfect little getaway in the nature. :)

The sauna and BBQ were fantastic and used every day. The area is peaceful with plenty of places to hike, eat, and drink. Surprisingly, also a lot of options for fine dining nearby (10-15 min drive).

In the context of the medieval festival, we could not have asked for better: at the foot of the castle. Exceptionally impossible parking just in front of the apartment that week, but Christopher had come to guide us. Close to all shops, restaurants and bars (but without noise). We did everything on foot. The apartment is really charming and offers everything you need (or even more: a welcome gift for humans and one for the "4 legs"). The bedrooms in the back are quiet and, despite the party, we slept like babies. Christopher heard from us and was lovely sinceit allowed us to leave our luggage so that we could enjoy the afternoon in peace. Thanks again for the timeless moment! With or without armor, we could come back!

Beautifully located in very quiet small village, wonderful garden, beautiful view. The area is not touristy. Ideal for those who love peace and beautiful scenery.

Regarding the accommodation, you can't find better. Clean, tastefully decorated, large and very beautiful room, beautiful bathroom with everything you need and a super well-equipped kitchen. We were able to put the motorcycles in their private courtyard. we thank them warmly for their welcome and for their assistance to a friend who had health problems. many thanks to Sandra and her husband. we will come back without hesitation.

Beautifully situated with forest walks all around, pleasant garden, comfortable inside and quite spacious for a tiny home. Very warm welcome!

It was a great stay! Place was super cosy, clean and already warm when we walked in, we appreciate it a lot! ☺️ We’ve found peace and quiet that we were searching for. The cabin was equipped very good and toilet was very easy to use and keep clean. Clémence is very friendly and helpful, it was a great pleasure to stay in a Squirell Cabin! I recommend it with all my heart. 🙂

A group of friends and I stayed the weekend and had a wonderful time! The house and garden are very cute and have everything you need (table tennis, grill, well equipped kitchen). We are thinking of coming back and would recommend this place to everyone :)
