Apartment holiday rentals in Folkestone

We had a fab few days . The flat is lovely...has everything you need, lovely decor, very comfy sofa and bed. Good places to eat within a few steps and easy to get to the pier and other spots. Bifold doors open onto the balcony which is a great place to sit and watch the world go by. Road is busy but once doors shut the flat is quiet...especially the bedroom. Slept very well on the comfy bed. Would recommend highly.

Le logement est idéalement situé, avec une vue imprenable sur la mer ! Nous ne pouvions pas espérer mieux en termes de panorama pour un week-end dépaysant au bord de l’océan.

A very convenient location for the attractions of Folkestone: with James' help, there was always available on-street parking at no cost. The apartment is functional and attractive, which is rather how I would like myself to be described by my wife. Everything worked as expected, and not being distracted by TV sets all over the place worked as a relaxing novelty.

This was our second visit to Dean's apartment. We love staying here. Super well equipped flat which is well cared for and extremely clean. The welcome pack of milk, fruit, cereals, tea and coffee makes for a very easy start to the holiday. I can highly recommend this accommodation.

Wir waren zum 2. mal in einer Wohnung von Christophe und Isabelle und wir waren auch diesmal absolut zufrieden. Das Apartment gegenüber der Strandpromenade ist wunderschön und hochwertig eingerichtet. In Bad und Küche ist alles Notwendige vorhanden. Bettwäsche und Handtücher waren ausreichend vorhanden. Die Freundlichkeit von Christophe und die Sauberkeit der Wohnung hat 10 Sterne verdient! Wir kommen sehr gern wieder, wenn wir dürfen.

Alex and Jess are incredible hosts offering a wonderful and welcoming guest suite. The hosts were friendly, helpful, clear, and prompt with all communication; they offer plenty of recommendations for any potential tourists, and leave detailed instructions answering all questions. The location is quiet and peaceful, surrounded by many beautiful trees in just a 20 minute walk from the Canterbury town centre. Nearby neighbours are friendly and quiet. The place was completely spotless, featuring comfortable furniture and necessary amenities. Water pressure and temperature range was perfect, as well (a huge bonus). One note for tall guests is that the ceiling slopes a bit low in some parts (see the listing photos), but this was not a concern for myself at all. There is a slight hill getting up to the address, but the surrounding trees provide cool shade. Overall, I had a perfect stay and would totally recommend Alex and Jess’ place. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour (3jours/2nuits) à Wimereux ! Le logement est parfaitement situé avec une magnifique vue sur la mer, un vrai plaisir dès le réveil ! Tout est conforme à la description, propre, cosy et bien aménagé. L’endroit est calme, idéal pour se détendre et profiter de la côte d’Opale. Merci pour l’accueil et la disponibilité, nous reviendrons avec plaisir !

Wir waren eine Woche in der Wohnung von Fabienne. Von der ersten schriftlichen Kommunikation vor Reiseantritt, über das persönliche Kennenlernen und ihre Tipps rund um Calais hat es an nichts gefehlt. Wir sind gern Ihre Gäste gewesen , haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt . Besonders die Aussicht vom Balkon auf den Strand und das Meer war zu jeder Tag- und Nachtzeit phänomenal ( Sonnenuntergänge inklusive)! Auch rundherum gibt es viel zu entdecken. Fazit: Calais ist auf jeden Fall eine weitere Reise wert. Danke für alles Fabienne!

What a beautiful home. Felt relaxed as soon as we popped the cases down and popped the kettle on. Two very comfortable sized and comfy bedrooms and a bright, clean and sizable bathroom. The main living area was as seen in the photos, loved the array of books and record player was just an added bonus. Kitchen area had all you need for cooking, so don't worry about bringing anything. Abigail was such an attentive host, checking in to make sure we were not in need of anything. Thank you for making our stay in London more enjoyable. Would recommend without reservation!

I had a really lovely stay! Paul was really responsive over message and flexible in letting me drop luggage and check in early as the flat was ready due to an early check out. The flat is so well stocked and Paul goes above and beyond, supplying bread, milk eggs, cereals etc and the bathroom is stocked with everything you need should you forget anything. Location is very near the train station and St Leonards and Hastings is lovely. I found a lot of things were closed on a Sunday or Monday but there was still a lot to wander around and I loved the peacefulness.

This was our fourth stay here at David's Annexe which really speaks for itself. It's the gift that keeps giving each time we return. The annexe was spotlessly clean as always ,with all aspects of our stay catered for.We wanted for nothing in the chalet as everything had been thought out carefully. Even dog blankets and doggy treats for those who bring a dog,although we didnt. The weather was beautiful every day,which was a bonus. The bed was so comfortable,and the kitchen area was superb. The milk in the fridge which was waiting for us on arrival,along with the yummy biscuits were really appreciated after a long journey. David and Lisa our hosts as always were more than happy to help out with any request,always with a genuine smile that made such a difference. We want to mention Reggie their lovely dog,who always made us welcome when we sat out on David's private beach on the seats he so kindly made available to us for free use. So in a word it was Utopia. Great location by the sea (enjoyed the reclining couch and the view of the beach!) and short walk to tidal pool, seaside sauna, and many nice cafes etc. Enjoyed the decor a lot and how well stocked the kitchen was. In some ways, quite a well loved and lived in place - but for many that could add to the charm! For our trip, that added to the holiday weekend feel and had a fabulous time!

Excellent séjour dans ce T2 charmant, très calme et très bien situé entre Condette et Hardelot. Le logement est conforme à la description: cuisine et salle de bain impeccables, très bonne literie. Merci encore à Jérôme pour son accueil et sa gentillesse.

Nice and relaxing place. Very well equipped especially the kitchen area. Welcoming big basket, even milk and butter in the fridge and ice cream. A little bit more cleaning needed and carpets especially. But a great ans beautiful place to stay, very friendly and communicative hosts.

John is a fantastic host-he went above and beyond and was extremely responsive to messages. We couldn’t work out the cooker (the timer needs to be set) and John was helping out despite the late time of messaging. We loved the recommended Sushi restaurant. The views from the apartment are amazing-we loved just popping out on the balcony. Location wise it was ideal. The main station Blackwall is a short walk away (6 ish mins) and the nearest underground Canary Wharf is around 20 mins which served us well. 😊

Lisa was a very welcoming.We turned up a little early so Lisa recommended a coffee shop to enable the apartment to be prepared. The apartment was clean and tidy and Lisa provided a few essentials to get us started eg bread/milk. Communication was excellent and we used her recommendations for local pubs eg The Cutty Sark and the visit to Greenwich Park. We were here to attend a concert at the o2 and location for this was good 25/30 mins walk. Overall perfect place for our needs.

Noah, the host, was truly wonderful. From our initial communication, she was kind and attentive, and during our stay, whenever any issues arose, she responded promptly and sincerely. She is without a doubt a Superhost. Although we experienced a few challenges—such as being unable to enter at check-in because my name was missing from the list, some areas where cleaning was insufficient, and having to walk from the 26th floor to the ground floor when the elevator broke down—Noah handled everything swiftly and with great care, and all was resolved. I’m sure everything has been improved for future guests, and the environment will be even better. The apartment was spacious and just like the photos. The nearby supermarket had a better selection than we expected, which was very convenient. The Jubilee line station was closer than we thought, making it easy to get anywhere. We had a very comfortable stay.

Muy cerca del Excel andando, buena comunicación vía Elizabeth line, ideal usar Uber boats para acercarnos al centro. El piso tiene buenas comodidades y mucho espacio, muy buenas vistas y mucha luz.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Jonathan's. The location was superb for what we wanted to do. It is very close to the High Street and an easy walk to the railway station. There is a lovely River Walk close to Tonbridge Castle. We found Jonathan an extremely caring host and would recommend his accommodation without hesitation. After our first night I received a text from him just checking how we had settled in and if all was as we expected. I found this amazing. it is a small place but provides all amenities. The appllances are high quality. If I returned to England I would always try and stay at his place again.

Judy was a fantastic host I must say. She was responsive, helped in one of the issue quickly. The place was amazing, nice amenities. Close to dlr station, asda and Canary Wharf. Overall worth!
