Squirrel Lodge is a pine scented slice of heaven in the Forest of Dean. Well equipped and situated overlooking a meadow and has direct walks into the forest and onto the Bream Heritage Walk. Also an absolute haven for fun seekers with one of the UK’s best cycle trails and downhill mountain bike course, along with abseiling, caving and canoeing. For walkers a wealth of forest trails that will guide you through the forest, take in the sculpture trail or simply take a stroll along the river Wye.

Peaceful Stone Cottage among fabulous gardens
The Garden House is a peaceful stone cottage set in the historic gardens of High Glanau Manor, the home of H. Avray Tipping (1855-1933) the Architectural Editor of Country Life Magazine from 1907. High Glanau Manor is an important Arts & Crafts house set in 12 acres of gardens designed in 1922. The gardens retain many original features including formal terraces, octagonal pool, glasshouse, pergola and 100 ft long double herbaceous borders. There are spectacular views to the Brecon Beacons

Tom's Hut
Get away from it all in a cosy shepherd’s hut amongst trees in a beautiful rural location. Tom's Hut has a comfortable double bed, storage below and a compact kitchen unit with double gas hob, sink and fridge, pots, pans crockery and cutlery. Keep warm with a wood-burner and fire wood provided, or underfloor heating. Outside, there is a table for al-fresco dining. A newly built, heated shower room is close to the hut. Just 3 miles from Newent and various pubs. Please note there is no WiFi.

A 100-year old, semi detached cottage, set in the beautiful Oak woodlands of the Cannop Valley Nature Reserve. The family Cycle trail, XC trail, Enduro trail, DH trail and Pedalabikeaway Cycle Hire Centre are only 200 metres from the cottage. Cycle storage is available at the Cottage. Beechenhurst Lodge Picnic site, the Sculpture trail and the scenic Cannop Ponds are a short woodland walk away. Oakwood Cottage sleeps up to 7 guests and is pet friendly with a large enclosed garden.
