We had such a wonderful stay here. The house is stunning, had everything we could need and the hosts were lovely. They helped with local recommendations as well as making sure we had all the information we needed for the house. Not to mention the gift of some mixture for us to make traditional waffles! The train station is just a few minutes' walk. The kids particularly loved the pool and table tennis table, and I really enjoyed the beautiful walks that are possible from the property. All in all a five star stay.

We had an amazing stay at Camilla's place! The house was absolutely beautiful, very clean and well kept. It was even better than the photos showed. The location was perfect and we appreciated the quiet surroundings very much. The host was incredibly helpful and friendly and made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Communication was easy and efficient and we were made to feel very welcome from the start. We can really recommend this place to anyone looking for a cozy and relaxing place to stay. Thank you very much for an amazing stay - we hope to be able to come back another time!

Incredibly nice home, with beautiful details. It's shown that this home belongs to a family with a sense of aesthetics. Well decorated with everything one might desire. Comfortable heated pool, with beautiful outdoor area. Cozy and accommodating host. Large rich center nearby. The only thing we missed was the possibility of cooling off bedrooms. Highly recommended.

Joachim’s place is amazing! The location is only 10 minutes from downtown but you feel like you’re on an island far away. Close to the beach and the bus and the grocery store. The house has everything you need and well maintained. The pool was absolutely gorgeous and the perfect temperature. We would recommend to anyone who wants a city break.

A beautiful house which worked perfectly for our family of 7. Freshly renovated to a high standard. Kids loved the pool and it was great to have the ability to have a boat docked at the house. Amazing view. All in all a great experience.

We had an amazing time at Heidi’s beautiful home in Fagerstrand. The house is cozy and tastefully decorated, and the surrounding area is absolutely stunning. Peaceful, green, and perfect for relaxing. Heidi is a wonderful host and an incredibly kind and helpful person. She made us feel truly welcome from the moment we arrived. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway with a warm and thoughtful host!

Quiet location, incredibly cozily furnished/partly nostalgic. In a few minutes by bus (and then by ferry to Oslo) and at the grocery store or down on the coast. Rushing stream on the premises.

It was easy to come to the airport, very unfortunately because we were leaving for the West Fjords the next day and only stayed one night, we would recommend it to friends traveling in Oslo

We had an absolutely fantastic 3-night stay at Mitra’s place, and what’s even more impressive is that we booked it with less than a day’s short notice! Mitra was incredibly accommodating, even offering us an early check-in to match our early flight, which made everything so much easier. From the moment we arrived, Mitra was warm, friendly, and always ready to help with anything we needed. The house was perfect — cozy, clean, and fully equipped for a relaxing getaway. We were blessed with beautiful weather, and spent hours soaking up the sun on the dock while admiring the stunning Oslofjord. It was an absolute highlight of our trip. One of the unique touches that made our stay extra special was the instruments and JBL stereo in the living room. We had such a great time playing music by the water, creating memories that we’ll cherish for a long time. Thank you, Mitra, for your amazing hospitality and for making our stay so memorable. We loved staying at Inke’s cabin, so peaceful and very well equipped. It was great to chill out in and explore the area around the cabin but also easy to take the bus and ferry back in to Oslo to the galleries and museums. We travelled on public transport and found it easy to get to, with a pizza place in walking distance and a large supermarket one bus stop away. Inke and Ralph were incredibly kind and welcoming. Thank you for a fantastic stay!

Rural house with large and cozy outdoor area. Short distances to public transport, large and nice beach, football fields and shops/Holmen shopping center. We had a great time at Therese's house, and would love to come again. Therese was very nice and welcoming and responded quickly to inquiries.

We loved Kjetil / Christine's place! The home design was beautiful, the view of Oslofjord was fantastic, and it was very well stocked. The bus stop was also just steps away to catch the local bus to get to the train to the airport and other locations. I'd definitely recommend their place for a relaxing visit to Oslo in beautiful surroundings.

Kaja hosted us in our home when we were going through a tough time. We had a very comfortable stay in our brand new house. It had all the facilities that we could think off. Our kids love it and we are always grateful to her and Torbjorn to make the place available for us in a short notice. We would highly recommend if someone would like to escape the city life. The views from the property were mesmerizing and I think anyone renting this property would have a great time.

From July 23 to 29, 2024, we stayed at Anja's house, a beautiful house surrounded by greenery equipped with everything a family may need. The metro, just a 5-minute walk away, takes you to the center of Oslo in just 30 minutes. Anja was a great host and put us at ease in everything. Very modern apartment, clean and hygiene. Had all amenities one would hope for. Has a private entrance and felt right at home. Recommend for anyone looking for stay around Oslo.

We had a wonderful stay! The hosts were incredibly communicative and easy to reach throughout our trip. The house itself is designer beautiful, impeccably clean, and very well-equipped. The welcome pack was comprehensive and check-in was made a breeze with the electronic lock. The hot tub was always warm, making it perfect for relaxation. This property is ideal for families, but would also be a fantastic choice for adult travellers. Its location is excellent, with easy access to central Oslo and multiple supermarkets within a short driving distance. We highly recommend this property for a delightful stay! When can we come back?

Spacious apartment in beautiful historic (1892) home with comfortable beds and excellent water pressure/heat. Line 12 Tram literally outside front gate. Super convenient for exploring Oslo. We appreciated: older building with high ceilings and beautiful woodwork, the location and proximity to the tram, the en-suite bathroom in master bedroom, the multiple toilets (4), and the responsiveness of the host, who lives onsite. You should know: relatively steep stairs to get to apartment, street noise (mostly from the tram that does not run in the middle of the night), and hand held shower in claw foot tub in en-suite bathroom (there is another bathroom with walk-in shower close by).

Really amazing home with magnificent views, the house is very large, modern and well equipped. The decoration is warm and beautiful with high taste. The location is wonderful, the house is about 20 minutes to Oslo center and 40 minutes to Oslo airport, in addition there are a lot malls in the area, there are a mall within 1km distance only with many shops and restaurants. In this home you will feel like you are in the nature but you are also in the city. Which was a great combination. Lydia and Per was amazing hosts, they are always responsive, friendly and welcoming.. it was great to meet them. This is definitely one of best airbnb stays that I have experienced, and i will definitely love to visit again.

This is a somewhat unusual space in that you get an entire cottage all to yourself in the middle of a neighbourhood otherwise dominated by larger villas. The place itself is very cute and is perfect for downtime. For the price and the location, this is also really spacious and blessedly characterful - think genuine cosy cottage core rather than drab Scandi minimalism. On the whole, everything you need for a few days' stay and a handy grocery store a few minutes down the road, next to the tram station.
