Small, cheerful house!

DebbieRating, 5 stars1 month ago
This was our 2nd year at Kay's home, while attending Delfest. Kay's home could not be more perfect. It's a peaceful, cozy respite from whatever your day brings, with birds in the pristine yard, comfortable and practical furnishings and even a basket of the most common items people forget to bring with them! We loved the addition this year of the huge sectional couch! There are a variety of art supplies and games available - even the box of crayons provided inspiration to create drawings in the field, while enjoying bluegrass in the mountains. There are a ton of spices available for cooking, lots and lots of kitchen supplies - including lots of plastic containers for leftovers, the choice of a Kuerig or drip coffee machines, toaster, ziplock bags and foil, etc. You want for nothing when you come here. We cannot wait to return year after year. Thank you for everything, Kay!

The Caverne'-quaint EFF near C&O Canal, GAP & UPMC

JamesRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Thank you Allison for your hospitality. The accommodations are definitely unique, but functioned well for our situation. The shed was helpful because we were able to lock up our bicycles and have them out of view. Your location is good and works well for bicycle tourists on the C and O towpath and the GAP bike trail. Thanks again and I wish you continued success with your Airbnb!

The Dacha. Rebirth sauna experience

This place is incredibly high tech, super cozy and well worth the price! Roman is a talented artist with a knack for hosting. His level of communication was just right and always super responsive. His home is in an old, historical town. Do your research for this to do before you stay as we were unable to book what we wanted since it sold out. With that said, there is so much entertainment right at the house that we didn't feel the slightest bit of disappointment! He also far exceeds any other host when it comes to making you feel at home and offers a slew of toiletries in addition to your standard toothbrush and toothpaste. I would come back to Cumberland just to stay at this house again!!

Hilltop Cabin Retreat - Secluded & cozy - Wi-Fi!

SaraRating, 5 stars2 months ago
We stayed here on a Thurs-Sun trip for a family wedding. We had 5 to the house and had plenty of room. The property and cabin are just beautiful and so peaceful. It's all very rustic and rural so you must be comfortable with that to stay here, but it was such an amazing value for what we paid and we were like 15 mins from the venue so it couldn't have been better. High pressure, hot water showers without issue and loads of DVDs and games to choose from as well as good wifi service in the house. Fort Ashby and the surrounding area were wonderful little towns although we didn't have as much time to explore as I would have liked. Finding the place is a bit of a doozy and requires pretty carefully following the host's instructions, so I highly suggest finding it on Google satellite map image and arriving during the daytime. The driveway is steep but not that bad really in warm/good weather. Would recommend this place to anyone!

Jamie's place was perfect for the 2 of us. It was clean, comfortable bed and adequate bathroom. Nice kitchenette. Thanks for having all coffee supplies available for that first cup in the morning! Bike storage in foyer was helpful. We would stay here again.
