Cottage holiday rentals in Fort Walton Beach

Returning to our favorite Airbnb beach cottage was just as magical as our first visit. The cozy interior, the yard feel, and easy access to the beach make it a perfect getaway. The hosts are incredibly welcoming and attentive, ensuring that every detail is just right. We love the serene atmosphere and can't wait to come back again. Highly recommended!

Daddio’s Cottage was a great place for our family to vacation. The location was amazing, and the porch was perfect! The proximity to the pool and beach was incredible, and it was so peaceful in the community. We were so appreciative of the amenities, including beach chairs on site and a very well stocked kitchen. There were a few minor cleanliness issues that we discussed with the concierge, including stained sheets and someone else’s mouth retainers on the living room floor, as well as large amounts of dust and sand throughout, but overall this was not a deterrent and we’d recommend this cottage in the future. Sydnee was incredibly responsive and helpful during our planning, and we are also so appreciative of that. We have great memories from our week on 30a!

Courtney's place was just perfect for my daughter's Senior Trip! The house was so cute and plenty big for all of us to spread out and relax. The bikes were perfect for the girls to go to and from the beach. It was also very walkable to the beach if you prefer to walk instead. Courtney was very responsive and so helpful, we would stay here again in a heart!

This has been my favorite place to stay so far. It was so clean and very beautiful. The walk to the beach is short and easy. We had an amazing time. The path to the pool and back patio is a vibe!

Molly's Place was perfect! It was only half a block to the public access point for the beach, and it was also very walkable to restaurants, including Destin Commons. The house was spotless and clean when we walked in, and every amenity needed was provided. The owner is always very responsive to messages. This was the second time we stayed, and I would highly recommend Molly's Place.

The cottage was perfect. It was spotless clean when we arrived. Jason was super fast in responding. The location couldn’t have been better. The private access white powder beach was beautiful. The bicycles were a nice touch as we rode them to Aly’s Beach. We didn’t leave without enjoying the pool also. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

Elizabeth’s home felt comfortable and she made it simple to find items around the home. We had a great time using the hot tub and the golf cart. I would definitely stay at their home again! Appreciate it!

The house was absolutely beautiful steps away from the Emerald Coast extremely clean. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay!

We truly enjoyed our stay at the Mermaid Cottage, everything that is posted is accurate to include images. We have been coming to Pensacola Florida for years and usually stayed at the hotels so this was the first experience we had using Airbnb and due to Ella’s hospitality we will continue to use Airbnb when we travel. Ella was very responsive when I had questions. As new empty nesters our 2 dogs are like our children and it was amazing to bring them with us to share this experience. This couldn’t have happened without the opportunity Ella provided us to bring our pets. All in all this was an amazing experience, I would highly recommend the Mermaid Cottage and Ella if you are looking for the opportunity to enjoy Pensacola Beach.

Carol was a phenomenal host- super kind and responsive - she took care of an issue with a charge from AirBnB super fast! The house was amazing- even cool (great ac! Many places we stay are never cool!)). Everything was super clean and looked great which I’m sure can be challenging when pet friendly! Obviously it’s not super close to the beach so be prepared to rent a golf cart or extra bikes if needed. Bc parking is so difficult at the beach, one person would drop everyone off and then go back to the house and ride one of the bikes back to the beach. It was so nice to have two bikes included as well!

We came for our daughter's engagement that turned into a wedding! The cottage had a beautiful backyard an Jennifer was kind to let us have an intimate dinner in the backyard with 14 people. We had a hiccup with the dress and she showed up with a sewing machine to help us out! Ended up dress not reparable and we got a wedding dress in the 12th hour! The house is adorable beds super comfortable we were a part of 6 an had plenty of room! Jennifer has thought of everything in the house so well stocked from kitchen items, towels, beach items and even wood in the fire pit! You will enjoy this beautiful cottage!

We had a wonderful stay at Sandra and Miguel’s beach house! The home was clean, comfortable, and in a great location. They were incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our trip, which made everything smooth and stress-free. I truly appreciated their hospitality and communication. I would absolutely recommend staying here and would gladly return in the future. Thank you again for everything!

Amy was such a hospitable and responsive host. This place felt like home. It was in a perfect location; within walking distance to restaurants, shops, the pool, the beach, while also feeling private and very safe. A drive away you can find Destin and Panama City beach which are full of any activity you can think of; but rosemary keeps you nestled in a private elegant little town. We will 100% be back!

My husband and I enjoyed our month long stay at Maravilla (March 2025). We had a condo (building 1) last year and chose the cottage this year….more privacy, less noise. We had several guests throughout the month and there was plenty of room/space for all. Beautiful kitchen for cooking our meals. Large table to accommodate our guests. Enjoyed time on the back patio as well. Easy walk to pool, pickleball courts and beach. Beach umbrellas and chairs, which are included, are great. Bernadette was quick to respond if we had any concerns or questions throughout our stay. Thank you Bernadette for renting your cottage to us. We’ll be back because we love this area of Florida.

This is our second time staying in the cottage, and we LOVED it again! My dogs and I walked in, and we felt right at home again this time. Everything was pristine, and it looks like I literally just shut down my own vacation home for a couple months and then came back. It has become my home away from home in Pensacola! In fact, I will reschedule a trip if Susan’s place is not available. That’s how much I love it! This cottage is SO well taken care of, and everything is extremely clean. Susan is incredibly helpful and friendly, and she is always responsive if needed. I’ll be staying again at least two more times this year with my dogs, and we truly can’t wait! Thank you, Susan, for another amazing experience! You really are the best!

Such a great find! Beautiful house and neighborhood. Very walkable to the beach. There were tons of games/puzzles at the house. Good beach gear too! Everything was great, definitely hoping to come back in the future!

I have used Airbnb many times and this particular Airbnb is the absolute best I have ever had the pleasure of renting. There are not enough superlatives to fully describe the wonderful features of this rental property. I highly recommend Kelly and her beach home! It truly exceeds all expectations and Kelly is an amazing host.

Our stay at the Sea Shanty was wonderful! It was perfect for two adults and a kid. We each had our own bathroom, which were well-equipped and tastefully decorated. The in-unit laundry was so nice to have. The kitchen was very well-equipped as well (but we used the host’s lovely recommendation booklet and opted to eat most meals at multiple restaurants instead!). The unit was very clean, and I’m picky about cleanliness! We also really enjoyed the location. The walk to Whale’s Tail beach access was simple (not to mention parking the car in that lot if we were feeling lazy and/or had a lot of beach stuff). The guys also really enjoyed fishing in Lake Stewart. Overall, this was a great place to stay and we would definitely stay again! My one& only suggestion would be for the outdoor furniture to have covers, as we had showers daily and couldn’t use the furniture on the uncovered patio much as a result. But not a big deal- lounging inside was a joy!

Everything was perfect! We were there for my daughter's softball tournament and this location was perfect. Everything was perfectly clean and set up perfect for our family. Property manager that lives on site is an overall great human! He made sure to ask about our softball games and was just so helpful and friendly, truly a gem of a person. We will absolutely book here next year for this same tournament, if it is available! Loved everything about this place and hosts! Thank you so much! ALL THE STARS!

Great stay! It was nice to visit Pensacola after 10 years away, and the house made it a welcome return. I enjoyed the little details like a Pack ‘n Play, coffee press, extra blankets, portable fans, just to name a few. Definitely worth it when we visit again!

Our stay at the Castaway Cottage was wonderful!! We really enjoyed the location, the golf cart for getting around with ease, the cleanliness of the home, and the very responsive host with any issues that came up. Will definitely keep "The Castaway" on our list for future stays!! Suggestions: leave more or not limit trashbags (2 very thin kitchen bags) for easier clean up, easier instructions for seahorse fountain lolol. Never could get him to sing! :D Thank you for lending us your lovely home!

Wow, we absolutely loved staying here near Santa Rosa Beach! We stayed 6 nights and felt right at home. It's a beautiful beach house just a short walk to the ocean. The home was incredibly clean, and the kitchen was well-stocked with everything we needed to cook meals. The location is peaceful and private, with the pool conveniently right across the street. Heather was a fantastic host-very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. We had a wonderful vacation and will definitely book again when we're back in the area!

This home was great! We especially loved the back porch where we sat with our morning coffee. The beach was easily accessible and within walking distance with the provided beach cart, which we used every day. Although there were plenty of stores nearby for shopping, the actual neighborhood where the house was located was very quiet and good for afternoon naps after a long day at the beach. And Destin beaches are beautiful! We’ll be back next year!

Beautiful cabin in a great location! Caught lots of fish off the pier and enjoyed walking the shoreline in the backyard. Very peaceful place to stay to get out of the busy town areas. We will definitely come back again! Dick was a wonderful host and we got lucky finding this cabin.
