Apartment holiday rentals in Foz do Douro

By far one of the nicest 1-BR Airbnb's we've stayed at. If you like contemporary architecture, lots of space, good natural light and an uncluttered apartment, this is the perfect spot for one or two people in Porto. Very central and touristy location, but the area is great to easily walk to restaurants, along the river or a metro ride across town. Comfortable bed in the back of the apartment, so it's a nice place to get a good night's sleep. The kitchen is fully equipped with nice tableware, a and a nice eating area. Hosts were easy to communicate with and very accommodating.

I had a wonderful 10 day stay in this apartment. The accommodation is very modernly furnished and very well kept. The hosts are amazing and helped with everything and gave great recommendations. The location is perfect, stunning area close to the beach and a quick bus ride to the city centre. All in all I fully recommend this place.

It was such an amazing and lovely stay! Apartment itself is so cozy - it feels as at home. Clean, bright and very quiet and lovely! Lisa is an amazing host together with Alexandra they have ensured our stay will be unforgettable- amazing check in and check out. They are very attentive to all the requests and shared guidelines on how to get to epic Porto places, travel around, what to visit and where to get lovely souvenirs! Apartment is located in a cozy area, 2 mins from ocean and locations for food and drinks. We hope to get back to Porto soon and definitely will choose same location and apartment :)

Check in with host was very welcoming and very useful information provided. Nice living space and all amenities you would expect. Location good for beach and short tram/bus ride into Porto. Overall really nice stay.

Nice, clean, good location. The only thing was there were a lot of switches and it was a little bit challenging to figure out which lights were controlled by which switch :-)

Our accommodation and the neighborhood it is located in exceeded all of our expectations! The architectural design and attention to detail far surpassed the description. The neighborhood was friendly, intimate, and one block from the Atlantic Ocean - who could ask for more? I will be back! Thank you, Tomas and Alberto, for a wonderful stay in Foz!

We had a great time in Porto! The appartment is right next to the beach and just 10 minutes by car away from the city center. We were very glad about all the equipment in the appartment like herbs, oil etc in the kitchen, cremes, lotions, showergel etc in the bathroom, many tovels in general, bags for shopping, some stuff for the beach and much more. The check in was flexible and Maria was so lovely. She showed us some maps about Porto and told us about some events. She also left some sweets for us. Everything was clean, TV and Wifi worked perfectly. Probably my next vacation will be in another country to explore to world, but I highly recommend this appartment to my family, friends and all of you.

We had a super stay at Josefa's appartment. It was spacious, light and squeaky clean and also very cool which was welcome after long days of sight seeing! We loved Porto and Josefa's apartment and would love to come back :)

You are in the center of old town historical monuments. The washer and dryer saved me. There’s a supermarket about 5mins away. Close to everything and super quiet in the evenings.

Absolutely worth it for the view! It’s incredible. It’s also well located, right next to the bridge for easy access to Porto. Definitely recommend!

We (myself, my husband and 2 children 13 + 11) stayed at Dulce’s apartment for 2 nights in Porto. The location was excellent and we were able to walk almost everywhere. The apartment was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Dulce was very responsive and friendly and more than helpful with any of our requests. We loved Porto and plan to visit again in the future. I would definitely stay here again. Note that the apartment is on the 2nd floor of a steep windy stairs. It was fine for us but may not suit anyone with mobility issues. Thank you Dulce for being a great host!

We loved our stay at Jessica’s place. She was super responsive and friendly, and let us have a flexible check in. The location was lovely and peaceful, and easy to walk to a lot of restaurants. It was also clean and had everything we needed. We would definitely recommend her place!

Much more than a very nice accommodation, Sonia gives all the tips and good addresses to spend a wonderful stay. It contains everything you need, including a washing machine and dishwasher. Great!! Recommended.

We had a great extended stay at Joaquim's aparment. It is well-furnished and comfortable, and in a great location. There is a quiet green space, well-kept, across the street, leading to a major mall and soccer stadium. Worked well for us! Thanks Joaquim!

A beautiful Villa with a nice pool and barbecue outside we all love it we are definitely coming back again. Highly recommended.

absolutely perfect location in Porto for a first time visitor. we were on the very top floor (unit 6) and barely heard any other guests. very clean apartment with just what we needed for a short stay. thank you for the easy check in instructions! my only feedback for the hosts: we wished the hot tub was available passed 2030 — we sadly did not get to enjoy it due to our short trip. my rec for those looking to book: try a unit on a lower floor if you have large suitcases as it was difficult to lug ours all the way to the top (ended a long trip in morocco here so this was totally our own doing!) otherwise would definitely stay here again. Thank you Porto!

Very spacious and clean unit, friendly hosts, Porto was much better than I expected, beats Lisbon. 100% walkable to tourists attractions, great restaurants, stores, markets and so on. I would have loved to spend more time there.
