The Bunk House

The Bunk House is an 8 by 12 foot shed with 3-4 bunks. There is a twin sized bed across the back, a bunk sized bed on each side and a plank to pull out to accommodate a fourth person in the middle over the walkway. With this adaptation, you have an 8 by 10 foot bed. We provide foam mattresses, sheets, blankets and pillows. There is an air-conditioner and a heater. Bucket toilet behind the bunkhouse. Fire ring available. No pets. The water is from our deep well - tested, certified and delicious!

i’m from this area originally, and was looking for some peace and calm in the country after living in the city over a decade. kate not only did my super last minute RSVP (like, 2 hours prior!) and the house was ready, with clear instructions - easy for the non-familiar. very cozy, private, homey - in the best way with everything we needed. would and will stay here again when home!

Our camping plans got rained out so we had to pivot and find somewhere to stay last minute. This place happened to be available… we booked and we arrived an hour later. This home is clean and situated on a nice property not too far off the highway. We were very pleased with the obvious intention that went into making this home cozy and comfortable . I probably said “I could live here” at least 10 times. The hosts are gracious and kind and I would highly recommend this place as a lovely little getaway spot.

This is a very well stocked, well put together house which is extremely comfortable in every way. We forgot to buy salad dressing, and it was a nice quick walk to go to the store. Kitchen is well stocked with items for cooking. Very convenient and on a quiet street. Love the fans which are part of the light fixtures in the bedrooms. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend.
