Welcome to The Got-Away, a place where you can relax & renew. The Got-Away is a play on the phrase "the fish that Got Away". Since Tims Ford offers wonderful fishing opportunities, we thought the name would be perfect. We want our home to be a place where you can escape life's hassles with family & friends. Our Dad loved to fish, and many of the items in The Got-Away were his. As an Army/Coast Guard Veteran, the water was a second home to him. We hope it will be for you and your guests as well.

Perfect family friendly get-away at Tims Ford Lake. The cottage is located on a beautiful, completely wooded lot. You have access to Holiday Landing Marina via a subdivision golf cart path. Whether you want to go boating on the lake, hike at the nearby Tims Ford State Park, or just get together with family and friends, look no further! This large open concept, cozy, spacious, 3-level home is all you will need. Brand new furnishings and mattresses! Our space also includes 5 large 4K ROKU TVs.

This property is primarily for guests attending University of the South/Sewanee and Saint Andrews Sewanee sanctioned event. Others will be considered but not guaranteed. Relax with family and friends at this lovely cottage on a pristine mountain lake in a gated community in beautiful Monteagle/Sewanee, TN. Plenty of outdoor amenities, including hiking trails, waterfalls, bluff-view pavilion, and, of course, the lake. Bring your kayaks and paddle boards (no motor boats allowed on this lake).

The Sewanee Cottage - Great location on campus

Perfect location! Beautiful house right on campus - located on Tennessee Avenue across from Quintard dorm and just a quarter mile from The Cross and Morgans Steep. 4 bedroom, 2 bath sleeps 10 comfortably with an additional bunk bed in the downstairs twin bedroom. This house is newly furnished and fully stocked - ready to rent. Quiet home that is just a stroll from restaurants and the bookstore. Perfect for parent visits and other University gatherings.

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Short walk or golf cart ride to Blue Gill Grill and Holiday Landing Marina. Golf cart included, subject to availability. 3 bedrooms 2.5 bathrooms, bonus bunk room, screened in porch with gas fireplace. Downstairs has master bedroom with a queen sized bed + bathroom. Upstairs has two bedrooms with queen sized beds. The bonus area has 3 twin sized beds and is perfect for kids or extra guests.
