Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Franklin

Gerald’s place is very clean, comfortable, and homey! Plenty of towels and blankets for everyone, thoughtful personal touches including having books and toys available for children, and some snacks and breakfast items for guests. He kindly allowed us to use the fire pit and even helped get the fire going. The view of the bay can’t be beat! We enjoyed being in such a private location and opening the windows for fresh air and bird sounds. If you need to work remotely or access WiFi during your stay, it is available but not high speed and there were some issues with consistent connectivity. The kitchenette is small but sufficiently appointed for simple cooking like one-pan meals. If you’re planning to mostly spend your time outside exploring Acadia, this shouldn’t be an issue for you! Gerald’s place is rural but conveniently located between the Schoodic Peninsula and the Mount Desert Island areas of Acadia, with very scenic drives to both areas. Harmon Homestead was a comfortable 3-bedroom home, with a stream and small bay across the road. The home matched the description, located on a quiet dead-end walkable dirt road. The 4 beds were all very comfortable and extra towels and linens were plentiful. If you're a bird watcher, you'll enjoy seeing the many kinds of water birds and raptors outside the windows facing the stream. We spent most of our time in the dining room, which has a wooden table for meals and game-playing and has the best windows for viewing the birds. Mount Desert Island/Bar Harbor/Acadia National Park is an easy 40-minute drive away. We ate out more often than we had planned, since we wanted to sight-see, but when we ate in, we found the kitchen had plenty of dishes, cookware, and cutlery. Blueberry Hill Ice Cream in Ellsworth is worth going into town for a cold after-dinner treat!

My family loved our stay! The house was beautiful, peaceful, and right by the lake. There was lots to do at the with all the kayaks, canoes, paddle boards available to explore the lake. We spent a couple of days exploring Acadia, but enjoyed just staying at the house enjoying the scenario. James was also a very responsive host.

Brian’s AirBnb is in a quiet and safe neighborhood. The keypad check in is simple. The home is spotless. There are plenty of linens and kitchenware. The home is close to Acadia and downtown Ellsworth. If you want a short drive to Acadia and MDI, this is your place!

The mid-century modern home was beautiful. The curtains in the bedrooms kept the early morning sunlight at bay. The location was private. We could walk to Lamoine Beach. We visited as two adults and two kids; we all felt at home. This was by far the kid's favorite place to stay on our vacation in Maine. If you forgot your sunscreen or bug spray (both a must), the house was stocked up. The separate cottage is on the same property, and it was occupied. The visitors there were quiet and respectful, we hardly knew they where there.

The space was clean, cozy, and exactly as described. in the listing. Check In was easy & the host was very responsive when sent a message. The location was peaceful yet close to surrounding Cities. Highly Recommend!

This is an amazing find! We have been to 37 states and have stayed in countless air bnbs, and this is quite possibly our favorite. The location is gorgeous! The house is packed with amenities, which we super appreciated as a family of 5. The view every morning and evening was stunning. We were able to kayak from the house, have campfires, see the stars at night, enjoy the view and TV while hot tubbing, sip tea from the balcony, hike the nearby preserve, watch the wildlife and experience the amazing tides. We would 100% stay here again and hope to after we catch the other 13 states. If you're on the fence, just book it!!

This house was amazing—hosts really have thought of everything when it comes to guest experience! Kayaking out to the tiny islands in the bay a couple times allowed us to see horseshoe crabs and bald eagles up close. The fire pit was great and the “s’mores station” with supplies in the kitchen upon arrival was so cute and thoughtful. Our three kids loved this place and didn’t want to leave at the end of the week. Our boys especially loved the lower level game room with ping-pong, arcade games, and pop-a-shot. The kids also loved reading on the sofa in the upstairs loft overlooking the kitchen. The kitchen is well stocked and we cooked dinner there a couple times during the week. The hosts gave great local recommendations as well—the craft beer at Fogtown Brewing in Ellsworth (less than 15-min. drive) is excellent, and it is very kid-friendly with a large outdoor eating area and wood-fired pizza. We’d love to return to this house! Mosquitoes are fierce so bring bug repellent.

Kevin and Donna’s place was very clean and comfortable. It is just a short drive from downtown Bar Harbor and Acadia national park. Watching the geese and ducks in the beautiful backyard each morning was a bonus. Kevin and Donna are responsive and friendly.

This place was great and very clean. This is an Airbnb that beats a hotel every time. Close to Acadia, and has river access. Very nice place, and I definitely recommend staying here. Everything was high quality from the furniture to the silverware. Thanks again!

Incredible, we really enjoyed staying at the sunrise deck, so incredibly home feeling and sweet for me and my wife’s honeymoon. We loved the extra care Lise took to bring gluten free snacks for my wife it was so sweet and thoughtful. We strongly recommend coming to stay here for Acadia or even the surrounding towns as well! Beautiful spot and view from the hot tub and dock. Cute little living space and we loved the welcome/ informational guide provided as well as the home made cookies ready for us on arrival. Would stay again!

Renee's place was great for rest and recovery between hikes at Acadia. Had everything we needed to prepare our own food, and located close to shopping. We had a great time and would definitely stay again next time we explore Acadia!

The Room with a Brew is fantastic. The description matches the space perfectly- it is actually even more charming than the photos. It is comfortable, spotless, and aesthetically pleasing. Leah is a fantastic host and checked in with me a couple times to ensure my stay was going well. I highly recommend this space for anyone visiting the Belfast area. It is a treasure.

So perfect, who designed this??? Everything was clean and easy. I loved all the hooks and stow away options that let me live out of a suitcase. Brian also gave us the best Acadia and Bar Harbor tips for must sees and hiking and dining. Walking to downtown Bar Harbor, including a grocery store was so helpful. Already told my grown children to stay here when they come to Acadia

Love this Condo. Superb location in Blue Hill Village, easily walkable to everything downtown. Modern and updated making it very comfortable. Well equipped with cleaning/cooking supplies so you can "live normally". The hosts are super responsive and helpful as well. Highly recommended.

The location of the condo is perfect if you are looking to stay in Maine to explore Acadia. The condo itself is minimalist but completely adequate. The indoor swimming pool and amenities at the clubhouse are perfect for anyone with kids and/or rainy days! The views were beautiful off the deck. I would definitely stay again!

The photos don't do this place justice. It was spacious and squeaky clean. Beautiful views of the water. For a busy marina it was pretty quiet. During the day there would be people just outside the unit talking but nothing disruptive. Great price for a beautiful place. Only about a 25min drive to Bar Harbor. We would definitely stay here again.

Pretty solid place, was on a discount but was clean, relatively near acadia, but only qualm was that it was a little hard to find. Not reallly host’s fault, we got confused. Overall solid place

We rented both the Toddy House and Rocky House for a week for our family of 12. The houses were as described and in pristine condition. We loved the fact that they were close together, so the late night group could stay up socializing, while the children could be put to bed without distraction. The Toddy House had a pool table which provided lots of late night entertainment. It also had a large open common area to accommodate our group, and we spent a lot of time on the screened porches. We really liked the access to the water with the dock, the canoes and kayaks, and the super cool fire ring. We are the type of family that asks a lot of questions, and Mark was quick to answer and take care of any questions or issues we had. We spent a great deal of time at Acadia, and while the drive was about 45 minutes to get there, it was not a problem at all. We would definitely return to 3Havens if we decided to take another vacation in this area. Mark and Laurie were excellent hosts.

We had a wonderful stay in Ted's place. It has amazing views and the unit is well stocked with all necessities. Highly recommended!

What a beautiful location and house. There’s nothing better than sitting in the living room or front porch and being able to see the Belfast Bay. The house is very clean and neat. Beds are comfortable, shower is very hot. Don’t miss the sunrise in the mornings. Overall this is one of our favorite places we have stayed in Belfast.
