I had a wonderful time staying at Tony’s place, it was a beautiful location. The house was beautiful and well kept. I plan on staying again.

The seclusion was absolutely peaceful and beautiful—just what we needed to relax and recharge. The fenced-in yard was perfect for my puppies; they were so happy running around safely and freely. It truly felt like a little slice of paradise for both me, my wife, and my pups. it was very stocked with literally everything. I will definitely be booking again!

Had a great stay. The place is stunning and the outdoor amenities was a plus! We were looking for a stress free weekend and we were able to obtain that here.

I couldn’t say enough wonderful things about this cabin! We booked this cabin for my bachelorette weekend, and it was everything I wanted! Private, quiet, but spacious enough that all 6 of us fit very comfortably! The hot tub was very nice, the beds were so cozy, and you can’t beat the surrounding nature! I sat on the porch every morning and watched the deer in the backyard. It was beautiful! I would love to bring my future husband and dog the next time we come. If you’re coming to Berkeley Springs, book this cabin! 💓

A great cabin for a weekend getaway. We really appreciated all of Sabita’s recommendations for local wineries and trails. Photos and description matched the home very well. One thing to note, the cabin is off of a main road, and at times we felt like the road noise was pretty noticeable, not a huge deal, just not super tucked away/private. We would definitely stay in the future and highly recommend.

What stood out about this amazing home isn’t what is listed on the description but the little things they didn’t mention that made it so welcoming. The kitchen is modern and stocked as well as my own with cleaning supplies, cooking utensils, and extra things like spices. There were night lights in the rooms, which was great for the kids. Cozy fireplace with the wood ready to use. The bathrooms are updated and the bedrooms have cozy bedroom vibes. The hot tub was perfect after a long hike. The sheets and towels are not cheep hotel grade but cozy and soft. Everything about the house just welcomes you in.

This was a great place for us to take our daughter and decompress before she goes back to college. Enjoyed the outside area and the rustic cabin.

A rustic cabin in the woods for some R and R was what we had hoped for…and we got it! Beautiful wood beams. So nice to have a private bathroom, as well as a window unit for heat and A/C. The shared kitchen was less than 50 feet away and had all the cooking vessels, utensils and cookware to make a meal. But we loved going to cafe! Barbara and her team served up delicious meals.

This was the perfect place to stay for a family getaway. We hiked, enjoyed coffee out on the patio, had a fire in the fire pit and shared meals in the well appointed kitchen. The area has beautiful parks and some delicious food.

Super cute place just enough out of the way that you feel like you’ve escaped, but close enough to stores and conveniences in case you forgot to pack something. We enjoyed the fire pit and swing set most. Was able to let the pup off the leash, and I know he appreciated that. The hosts were extremely inviting and helpful. Would definitely stay here again

Beautiful property! Very relaxing. I booked the house for my family to attend my Stepmother's memorial service so we could all stay together. I would definitely book this house again. There were a few things that I would change and have made my recommendations to the owner.

We loved our stay! The pool was great. The views are beautiful. Everything we needed was there. We enjoyed the new Ganotown Ice Cream shop and did trail ride on horseback at Good Luck Stables.

Absolutely adored this cozy, modern-feeling cabin. It had a fully stocked kitchen, thoughtful supplies stocked throughout, and a great sense of decoration that felt cozy without feeling over the top. We had a relaxing time popping in a DVD from the collection, letting our dog run around the property, cooking meals, and drinking coffee with a few of the falling leaves. A short walk across the street to the creek was well worth it. They have a private grove where you can read and take in the sights and sounds of a small stream (just remember your bug spray). We also used the host's suggestions to hike Big Schloss and grab a bite in Wardensville on the way back. It was a perfect retreat in the mountains.

My fiancé and I visited Buffalo Gap Retreat in the spring, and we loved it so much that we returned in October with friends and our dogs! The dog park was a perfect convenience, and our pups had an absolute blast. Sean was especially helpful, offering us some fantastic local recommendations. Our cabin was clean, cozy, and the perfect retreat after a day of exploring. The foliage around the area was absolutely breathtaking, especially in the fall. We booked the wood-fired sauna for our last night, and it was the perfect way to relax after a long day of hiking. This place feels like a dream, and it’s great for everyone—whether you’re traveling solo, with friends, family, or bringing your dogs along. Can’t recommend it enough!

We had such a good time at Buffalo Gap Resort. First of all, the photos were entirely accurate. They were not sugarcoating or selectively photographing this cabin. If you, like me, have been a victim of photos vs. reality on AirBNB rest assured that won’t happen here! Of note because I was nervous - cat friendly. Sean didn’t bat an eye when we checked our cat in. In fact, there’s a cat at the resort who entered our cabin and let us love on him. Sadly he couldn’t stay with us for the night due to our cat, but we enjoyed him while he was there! Sean is very kind and accommodating. So very pleasant and clearly genuinely dedicated to making sure guests have a great experience. The kids loved paddle boating, canoeing and kayaking and even found the herb garden. The surroundings are incredible, especially in autumn. It’s truly secluded. Beautiful scenery. An amazing trip overall. We will be back in the spring with a bigger group for our granddaughter’s first trip to WV!

Buffalo Gap is really special. We felt like we were at a summer sleepaway camp for the whole family. The cabin was rustic but comfortable, the grounds were beautiful, the staff was really helpful and friendly. Very dog friendly. Will definitely be back!

We had a great time in this peaceful location. Free boat experience was great fun and there were enough attractions nearby. Hosts were great with communications and responsive with any help we needed

My kids had a great time at this place. They loved the loft sleeping area in the cabin, the swimming hole with all the fun equipment, and the cute, friendly ponies. Levi made the stay even better by bringing such a helpful host. He checked on us multiple times to make sure we were doing ok and ask if we needed anything. Also, Levi truly went above and beyond to assist when my car wouldn’t start on the morning of checkout. Although Levi was busy when I reached out that day, he immediately called a friend with jumper cables and sent him over to give us a jump. The car stared and we were able to get home on schedule. We were so grateful. Definitely recommend this place.

This was my second time at Buffalo Gap, but I brought more friends this time. Everyone loved it! The location is really great. It’s so beautiful and peaceful. The cabin was comfortable and had everything we needed. You can buy firewood there to use at your fire pit as well. There is a cute little town nearby. Both times we visited we also enjoyed the scenery and took a trip on the Potomac Eagle.

Great place for camping, beautiful views this time of year!
