High Calling

High Calling is the lower level of a home on Cataloochee Mountain, at 4300’ elevation. Enjoy the panoramic views year round from a private covered porch or around the fire pit as you relax with the peaceful sound of the creek below. A charcoal grill is also provided. Two bedrooms, one with a queen size bed, the other with one full bed and one twin bed face mountain views. A sitting area with a television and games, kitchenette and coffee station are provided, along with snacks and drinks.

You'll be welcomed into the space by beautiful floors made from reclaimed barn wood. An open floor plan includes the living room with 55" smart TV, kitchen and dining areas. The kitchen is fully equipped. The bedroom has a super comfy queen bed, dresser and large walk-in closet. We are 100% solar powered and offer a Level 2 EV charger for guests.

End of road, bedroom/bath behind home, exterior entrance, tile shower, 15 min to Asheville, 8 min Weaverville, 18 min to the Blue Ridge Parkway, 5 min to Ledges River Park on the French Broad River. The bedroom is 11x14, plus bath, amenity storage & deck.

This is a great little efficiency by the river that offers a great porch overlooking the Pigeon River. This is the perfect getaway for two, in the mountains of Western North Carolina, who want somewhere to stay that is affordable but with all the amenities. We are located approximately 20 minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway, 20 minutes to the quaint town of Waynesville and 3 miles from Springdale at Cold Mountain Golf course. Asheville is a 30 minute drive.
