Welcome to us! We rent out a studio with its own entrance and bathroom and free parking space. City center about 3 km. Bus stop approx. 300 m. Grocery store approx. 500 m. Ice hockey hall and handball hall (Storhamar) about 2 km. The studio is just as suitable for you who are studying, as for you who are going to Hamar on other occasions. The studio is equipped with a bed (150 cm) and WiFi. The place has no kitchen, but there is a kettle, fridge and microwave. We have Furuberget as the closest neighbor with nice hiking opportunities.

The house is large and spacious, and is located with a lovely view over Mjøsa. By car it is about 1 hour to Lillehammer, 50 min to Gjøvik, 30 min to Hamar and about 20 min to Brumunddal. The result is Tyven — an 80 sqm boutique cabin with a large window facing Mjøsa — Norway's largest lake — from the kitchen. Featured in National Geographic Traveler. Private jacuzzi, two full bathrooms, and peace and privacy in Mjøslis nature. Kitchen, bathroom and one bedroom on the first floor — living room and two bedrooms on the lower floor. Villa Leonore: Cottage with beachfront on Helgøya

For those who really want to experience the best Helgøya has to offer. Villa Leonore is a summer house built for tramway director Dybwad's wife Leonore in 1915. A nice garden leads down to a private beach by Mjøsa. Beautiful perennial bed and a separate kitchen garden to supply yourself with. You can relax on the porch with a good book, and make delicious local and organic food, with the farm's and the area's own products. There are great hiking opportunities on Helgøya, for walking, running and cycling.

From July 2025, we can finally welcome you to Hanshagan – an authentic farmhouse, closely restored in 1920s style, but with modern comfort. The house has recently been carefully restored: original materials have been preserved, old craft traditions continued, and all with respect for the history of the place. Here you can experience life as it was – without sacrificing warmth, hygiene or convenience. Hanshagan is beautifully situated in Stange Vestbygd and offers views of fields, forests and Mjøsa.

Start of the tour

Simple and peaceful accommodation in scenic surroundings. The cabin's location is on the northern side of Furuberget, and with lots of hiking trails and only 800 meters walk from the beach at Mjøsa, this is a good starting point for trips, relaxation and fun. Walking or cycling along the promenade from Jessnes to Hamar is a great trip of about 8 km, and a great starting point for many nice experiences.
