However we also have great kayaking within 5 minutes walk, quiet roads for cycling, we have our own 18 hole disc golf course, hiking trails, fishing, swimming beaches, bays for wake boarding and other watersports. Top floor of cottage on the ocean with view across the straits to Nanaimo/Vancouver Island. Short ferry ride from the mainland. Located on the Sunshine Coast with incredible natural attractions and scenery. Ocean access directly in front of cottage. Skookumchuk Rapids is about 1 hour away. Gourmet dinning is just a 1. 2 kilometers walk away along the Ocean Beach Esplanade. Lots of kite and wind surfers, boats and barges pass in front of the house. Picnic on the beach and the sandbar out front.

(It's all yours, walk kilometers in either direction). Situated on the southern shore of Halfmoon Bay protected from wind, the setting enjoys the full benefits of a western exposure with unbelievable sunset views, swimming, boating, etc.

DISCLAIMER: We are doing a renovation to an adjacent cabin and the sight lines of the property from your cabin aren’t at their best. There will be no work taking place or noise during your stay but there is construction fencing to block the site of the adjacent cabin in view. The shared lawn, and lake area are unaffected.

Spectacular Beachfront Cottage! Your own private cottage right on the beach, with views of Halfmoon Bay. This adult-only one bedroom cottage includes a cozy bedroom on the upper level, accessed by a spiral staircase. Fully furnished living room. Full kitchen with dining table. Relax on your private deck or under the shade of the arbutus trees and enjoy the views. One small to medium sized dog is welcome. Sorry, no cats. Maximum number of guests: 2

The Salty Goose is the perfect place to unwind with your loved one. Enjoy the ocean breeze from the balcony of our private cottage getaway. The beach and government dock are also located right across the street. Relax as you enjoy all nature has to offer; seal, deer, eagle and raven are all common sightings here. Our cottage is within walking distance to the Driftwood Center, Cidery, Marina, and Winery!

Dinner Bay Private Cottage

The cottage is situated on 14 acres surrounded by forests but with views of the ocean. It has a huge deck where hammocks (which are provided) can be hung and a full size hot tub is nestled in the rocks. It is very private but still easily accessible to the ocean. We recently installed a new hot tub with lots of different jets, lights and seating. It is quite amazing!
