Geitsetra

Recharge your batteries in this unique place, Geitsetra, right under Skagsnebb, in the middle of Jotunheimen. Here you have many of the famous 2000 meter peaks in Jotunheimen right outside the door, a great starting point for both hiking and skiing. From Sep/Oct there is no running water so we bring water in cans to the farm until the turn of the month May/June. This was originally a goat farm, but now the barn is empty and on the 2nd floor there is a spacious apartment, but great views. If you have any questions, please let me know🙂.

It has panorama mountain view and is right next to the national park and Galhøpiggen at 1000 meters above sea level. There are 3 bedrooms with high quality double beds and two single beds in the hall. Bathroom with shower and a room with bathtub. The kitchen is well equipped and spacious for those who love food. Olavstøga is a two-storey log house from 1840. We have spent a good six months renovating the entire house inside. Here you will find all modern facilities, but all in the old style, so you get a good, old-fashioned atmosphere in this old, venerable house. Outside there is a large porch with dining area. Beautiful view of the lake Vangsmjøsa and the surrounding mountains - here you can find peace!
