Holiday rentals with lake access in Galiano Island

This is one of the top Airbnbs that I’ve stayed in. Kitchen is very well equipped , unit is super clean and it felt very homey. I would definitely stay here again. Location is quiet and there is a little lake and walking trail just steps from the suite. Groceries, stores are a few minutes away by car which is convenient. Gerry was incredibly polite and genuine throughout our stay, making it truly comfortable and enjoyable. He was very friendly and kind to us as foreign guests, responding quickly whenever we had any concerns. I believe the host's character is crucial when using Airbnb, and this place is absolutely outstanding in that regard. The house was wonderful - everything we needed was provided, and we never felt like we were missing anything. The stylish kitchen and bedrooms made us feel elegant and relaxed every day, and my entire family was completely satisfied. The surrounding area is fantastic - rich in nature and remarkably quiet both day and night. There's a playground nearby, which is great for families with young children. This was our first family trip using Airbnb, and thanks to Gerry, it was an amazing experience. Our son loved the house so much that he cried because he didn't want to leave, so we're definitely planning to come back again.

We loved this amazing view home in Nanaimo. It is comfortable and extremely clean. Brian is a wonderful host, very welcoming and helpful. He has gone the extra mile to make your stay memorable by having so many extras available for your enjoyment like kayaks, crab traps and even extra shoes! The home has an incredible view and water access that offers a beautiful place to relax each day. We saw orcas, humpbacks, and otters from the deck! My 4 yr old grandson loved watching the ferries and float planes. Nanaimo was so fun. We are planning on coming back and definitely want to stay at this home again.

Huge home with all the needed amenities for our stay! Was very pleased to find a little closet of kids puzzles and books as well. My kids loved the gems and rocks that were collected around the home. Wish there was a little space where we could have found it what some of them were and where they were collected!!

You want to go to the lakes this place has got it. You want to go to Pender Hill and walk from your place this place has got it. You want to have a fire and chat with good company this place has got it. You want a tastefully Renod place that your significant other is sure to love this place has got it. Awesome spot. Lovely weekend away, the place had everything we needed. The outdoor spaces are great, the private dock and fire pit were perfect. Would stay here again!

Tracy and John are fantastic hosts. They have everything you can think of and more within the unit. There were also some other little perks but don't want to ruin the surprise should you choose to stay here which you should. The view / location can't be beat. The lake is a few mins walk away; super clean (rocky so you may want water shoes) and there is a dock to jump off of. Separately, my luggage arrived late and they provided me with extra toiletries which was so thoughtful. They also regularly checked in on the situation which I really appreciated. I hope to be back!

Perfect place for our stay with our little one. Tao arranged the Porta cot and high chair which was fab. We put our little one in the study which was great as was nice and dark. Such an easy walk to seawall and downtown.

it's a lovely stay. very spacious the bed is very large. lots of pots and pans to cook from, a grill. a pool for the summer and hot tub when your there in the winter time still but want to enjoy the water. the club house is also very close to room. Great stay. would recommend :)

We had a great stay at Andrew’s place. There was a small issue with the heating but he was very responsive and did his best to solve the problem. The cottage had everything you need to cook a family meal and a fire that heats up the whole living space. Overall it was a lovely cottage to spend a long weekend.

Over on the Sunshine Coast for work. This is the fourth time we have stayed at Jonathan's place (twice last year, twice this year). As always everything very clean and all the required amenities. Very peaceful / private location. Will certainly stay again.

We had an incredible stay at this beautiful lake-side cottage. The place is right on the lake with amazing views. The interior is super cozy, with comfy couches and beds. It's one of those places where you immediately feel at home. Our hosts were incredibly responsive, kind, and helpful. We would love to come again!

Lovely stay at Maple Ridge Cottages, cute little cozy space to hangout by the lake. This would be the perfect place in the summer while you can jump into the lake and use the provided water equipment (canoe, paddle-boards) enjoyed the wood burning fireplace at night and cooked our own meals on the BBQ. Only a short driving distance to town.

The cabin of your childhood dreams…sit back, relax, enjoy the lake and connect with family/friends. North Lake has fabulous swimming and almost no bugs. The cabin has a lovely view and lots of different areas to sleep. Lynne was a great host, very attentive and communicative. We had a lovely time, thanks Lynne.

Julie's place is spectacular. 7 of us came up for a bachelorette weekend and this place did not disappoint! It has everything we needed and more! the back deck was probably our favourite place, gorgeous view of the lake. We got to take advantage of the sleeping nook, and it rained the first night and the sound of the rain on the roof was amazing! I hope to be able to stay there again and discover even more things as we were just too busy to enjoy them all! ! I highly recommend for any occasion! I hope to be able to stay again soon!
