Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Galway

Mary’s place was amazing for our family of four adults on our trip to Galway. Immaculate house - everything was spotless from top to bottom. The home had everything we needed, and more! Mary was very generous from coffee to tea, snacks and even had makings for a simple dinner if needed. We felt well pampered by the amenities offered. Everything was quite well designed and luxurious. We each had plenty of room to spread out and come together for a night watching TV after exploring the Galway area. Mary was very responsive and helpful. Would 100% stay here again if in Galway. Highly recommend!

Absolutely spectacular. Beatiful rural gated property Panaramic view from most windows. Watch two donkeys enjoying l8fe while having breakfast. State of the art technology with great instructions. If you want peace and quiet for a few days and want to make room for a new train of thinking, this place is it. Need patience in getting there,but worth every turn in the road. Didn"t want to leave the place. There are small towns nearby to meet your daily needs.

Theresa was an excellent host and her place was so nice and cozy! It has a waterfront view and the drive to other locations was beautiful. She was so quick to answer any of our questions. Would definitely recommend!

House is beautiful and very comfortable! All the amenities we need and super clean. The view and surrounding scenery are amazing. We walked 3 1/2 miles to town on Sky road each morning and saw donkeys, Connemara ponies, jack rabbits and pheasants. Wonderful restaurants in town. Great hike up Diamond Hill in nearby National Park and swam in ocean at beautiful Dog’s beach. Amazing place for a relaxing and fun vacation!

My friend and I had the most lovely stay with David and Cheryl. They made us feel very at home and cared for with their recommendations for what to do in the area and thoughtful conversations over delicious coffee + breakfast. The home was beautiful and very comfortable + cozy. We hope to be back!

Without a doubt one of the greatest Air BnB I have stay throughout all my travels. Newly renovated extremely charming stone cottage with everything needed. We were in awe at all the beauty and of course the horse who greeted us. Helen made fresh bread (best ever) and beverages upon our arrival which was so welcoming. Could not give this location and host enough compliments. Highly recommend this stay for peaceful location outside of the Eyre Center (easy 15 mins) Thank you for a truly special memorable experience 🍀🇮🇪

We had a wonderful stay! The host was incredibly responsive—quick to answer questions and even helped us with a minor issue (replacing fire alarm batteries) right away. The beds were super comfortable, and we really appreciated the thoughtful touches like a bottle of wine, butter, milk, coffee, bread, and jam waiting for us on arrival. The walk into Galway city was short and easy, but we especially loved the cozy bars and great atmosphere on Sea Street, just around the corner. Free parking was a bonus, just a few blocks away—about a five-minute walk. Highly recommend this spot for anyone visiting Galway!

We had tea with both Aisling and Ray one night and ended up chatting for over 1.5 hours. They were wonderful hosts and provided us with local recommendations for restaurants and activities. Ray also made us delicious bread. We will cherish this trip!

Olivia sent us pictures of the house the day before arrival and exact explanations of how to find the house, where the key box is and so on. When we arrived, we were totally thrilled with the apartment from the first moment, it was furnished exactly as described. Very nice, kitchen, bathroom and bedroom happened to be exactly like our furnishing style at home. This immediately gave us a "feeling of home". The apartment was above average well equipped. There were several varieties of tea, shower gels, shampoo, conditioner - hand soap from Rituals, there were adapter plugs & hairspray, in addition a nice cozy wool blanket. We got to know Olivia personally on the day of departure and had a very pleasant and pleasant conversation with her. We would recommend the apartment and Olivia as a landlady at any time. We really enjoyed our time there.

We loved our stay in Galway! The apartment had unbelievable views and within walking distance to many pubs and restaurants. Highly recommended!

We felt very comfortable in Róisín's tastefully furnished apartment and had a wonderful vacation. The apartment is in a rural quiet location and has a short distance to the beach. It is perfect for excursions in the area of the Burren National Park and other spectacular points on the coast, especially recommended for hikers (a car is necessary). Great location, walkable to all "must sees", 10 paces from one of the top pubs in Galway (the Crane bar). Clean, comfortable, full kitchen, everything you need!

One of my favorite Airbnb stays ever. As someone who’s a bit of a germaphobe, I mean it when I say this place was immaculate and spotlessly clean! The annexe feels more like a private home even though it’s attached to the family’s main home. The cozy first-floor living area and kitchenette, and a spacious upstairs bedroom and large bathroom make you feel right at home. It’s perfectly located—close enough to Galway city center for convenience, yet far enough to enjoy peace and quiet. My favorite spot was the bay window, with its stunning view all the way to the beach. I spent hours curled up there reading—it was the perfect retreat. Marcus and Catriona were phenomenal hosts. We felt so welcomed and cared for, and their quick responses to our (many!) questions made everything so easy. Their warmth and hospitality made us feel like part of the Galway family.

Had a great stay at Gerard’s place. He was responsive and flexible. We arrived earlier than expected and luckily were able to check in earlier. The place is self is clean and had everything you needed. Location wise is great everything was walking distance. It was nice being able to go back to the airbnb every now and then to rest or refresh. It does get pretty noisy at night but thats to be expected given its location. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend!

Marion was a lovely and attentive host. She gave us very clear instructions on how to find her place. She checked in on us throughout our stay to make sure we were doing ok. Her hideaway is very peaceful and situated in a great place for exploring the west coast of Ireland. We had a great time and would love to return!

The Apartment was equipped with everything you could possibly need, but without unnecessary clutter. The bed was really comfy and Séamus very friendly, helpful and welcoming! We can only recommend staying here.

Beautiful area! Della’s place was very clean and charmingly designed. Definitey recommended if you have a car. The walks to Liscannor and the Cliffs of Moher are at least an hour either direction, so bear that in mind, especially if you have a suitcase. We very much enjoyed the scenery, and the peaceful views through the skylights! Della communicated very well and stocked the kitchen generously for us. This place is a fantastic choice for staying in the area.

We carefully read and followed the advice of the previous guests and that‘s why we didn‘t stay for just one or two day‘s but five! We truly felt welcome and thoroughly enjoyed the peace and quiet here. And yes - every day we had the loveley company of the sweet four-legged friend :) A wonderful stay in an incredibly beautiful landscape! Many thanks for the warm hospitality and the delicious welcome cake!

Patrick and I had a wonderful weekend, Sinead is a great host, and very helpful. She collected our bags from the pier as we had our bicycles with us, and dropped them off when we were leaving. Sinead also drove me to the shop and waited for me while I did some shopping. we also had the nicest homemade bread, that Sinead had baked for us on arrival. wonderful host. 🥰❤️ Regards.
