Holiday rentals with lake access in Galway

An excellent place to stay. Family stay close by so this was an ideal place to book for our accommodation for the event we attended. Have recommended to others already.

Noreen was the perfect host. The accommodations were clean, comfortable and spacious. The location was spectacular, a peaceful countryside setting with outstanding views. Having a red fox travel through in the evenings was an added bonus. Noreen gave attention to detail in decor and amenities. She welcomed us warmly and offered helpful suggestions and recommendations, sharing local history. She was absolutely delightful! We had a lovely stay! We found it to be a great launching point for side trips to Ennis, the Burrens, Bunratty Castle, the Aran Islands, the Loophead Loop and the Shannon Airport. I highly recommend her place!

It’s a wonderful place to visit and enjoy. The house is spacious and perfectly suited for families and groups of friends. I highly recommend a visit!

Had a great stay at the lakehouse, its a beautiful location and very remote, so extremely peaceful. We were lucky with the weather and had a perfectly calm lake and magnificant sunsets most evenings. The house has amazing lake views and you could spend hours relaxing in the living room enjoying the serenity. We liked having access to the private pier, to do some fishing didn't require a boat, and pike and perch were caught every day. Having a great supply of coffee pods and a machine was great and appreciated. A very special house that I hope to return to again some day. Madeline was a great host and made us feel very welcome. We had a great stay here despite the weather. Quiet location but just a 15 min walk into the centre of Galway and a good base to explore the west of Ireland. Kitchen well stocked with utensils so we were able to cook ourselves a couple of times. Ronan was very responsive to any questions

Glann House was perfect for our large group of 11 people! Between 3 couples and 5 individuals there were enough bedrooms to allow everyone to have their own room and bathroom, with still plenty of beds and space to spare. The pictures on the listing honestly don’t do the house justice with how lovely the home and grounds are. It was also amazing how close the house is to Connemara and Galway. We only stayed at the house for 3 nights and honestly wished we had booked a longer stay. We will be returning to Glann House next time we are in the West Atlantic with our Family!

We were very happy with our 2 night stay. It's a peaceful location with very nice surroundings. It was spotlessly clean and spacious. The bed was very comfy and it also had a great shower. Nice bonus was the outdoor seating area. Patrica was always prompt with replying. We will be returning.

Our stay with Regina was wonderful it's a great little get away; nice, peaceful, relaxing and great views all around. Regina was the perfect host greeting us at the door making us feel very welcomed, giving us tips on what to do in the local area and leaving us some of her signature scones to enjoy. I would highly recommend staying with Regina.

Easily one of the best Airbnb’s I’ve ever stayed in! Mary and Michael’s place was clean, quiet, and had a beautiful view.

Perfect location! Have family in the area and are very familiar with the it. Easy to walk anywhere if you did not want to take the car. Maire was so responsive and helpful - easy peasy! Flat was clean and stocked. Highly recommend!

Comfortabel appartement in mooie en interessante omgeving met excellente gastheer Hughes en een niet te missen bar/restaurant ( Burke) als overbuurman. Ga daar zeker eens iets drinken of eten. Van harte aanbevolen!

We had a lovely stay at Loon Cottage with our son and his family. Lots of space for six people and an incredible view of the lake. We enjoyed visiting the quaint town of Cong as well as the Connemara. The beds are comfortable though it would be nice to have heavy curtains or shades on the bedroom windows. Excellent communication with the owner. We recommend staying at Loon Lodge without hesitation.

What a special addition to our Ireland adventure. Home was lovely, definitely the most modern interior we had come across, yet still maintaining that cottage feel. You might think, where in the heck are we going?!, when heading up the road to the cottage. For some drivers, you may be sincerely hoping no one comes from the opposite direction! BUT you are also enchanted by this space. A walk in the morning revealed even more of a bubbling stream and peaceful countryside. Oh and we can't forget our welcome committee, horns and funny teeth as well! Everything in the cottage seemed very new and it was cozy. If you are looking to stay away from it all and really get the experience of a country cottage, this is it. Not far from Cong and Ashford Castle. The rain and wind just added to the ambiance. Thankful for the joy this place brought to our Irish experience!

Wir haben die Ruhe und die schöne Umgebung sehr genossen. Das Cottage hilft einem dabei, den gewohnten Alltag zu vergessen. Der Blick aus den Fenstern ist in alle Richtungen besonders! Man blickt entweder auf Berge, Loch Coulin, Kühe oder Schafe. Die zur Verfügung gestellten Informationen sind sehr ausführlich - doch wir haben es auch nicht geschafft, den schnellsten Weg auf den Mount Gable/Binn Shléibhe zu finden. Wir sehen aber das Herumirren - das auch von anderen Gästen dokumintiert wurde - als lustiges Abenteuer an, das zu diesem Aufenthalt dazugehört ;)

Gemütliche Stunden auf dem Sofa in der Wohnküche mit wunderbarer Aussicht auf eine Eiche direkt an einem kleinen Fluß. Bei warmen Wetter auch schöne Sitzgelegenheiten draußen.

This spot is amazing. So private and peaceful. The art is brilliant and the house is clean and has everything you could need. Mark very easy to deal with . Locals all friendly. Make sure you drive down to Picolla Sophia for dinner. If you can drag yourself away from this house and the view of the lough. I will 100% be back !!

One of the best bnbs you can ask for, perfect lakeside retreat. Want to get back to see how the winter there looks like. Patrick has been very responsive to all my queries and had kept the place so well. Thanks again for hosting

We really enjoyed our stay. The accommodation was cozy and quiet. The property is beautiful and there were lovely grounds and woods to explore. John provided us with a fascinating tour of historic Lisdonagh House. They also gave us helpful recommendations for sites to visit in the area.
