Holiday rentals with a hot tub in Gapyeong-gun

Exceptional service from the host and amazing responsiveness. We felt more like being taken care of by family. The property is so nice and perfect for a private getaway.

Jinsoon is a great host and likes meeting new people, she loves to be proactive and take you out for breakfast or make you a special ‘Jinsoon style’ meal at home, served on the small patio area. She is a keen wine and anything with bubbles enthusiast! The apartment is ‘shabby sheik’ and spacious with an unusual high ceiling. It’s very quiet and private, situated behind other dwellings, up from the road. There are three different regular buses which will take you into Seoul 10mins The bus stop is 1 min walk from the apartment. The area is great to start the City Wall walk 18.5km (lots of steep walkways/stairs) recommend to do over 3 days if you wanted to complete the circuit of Seoul. Would highly recommend going to Sokcho for the National Park, Express bus from Seoul Express bus terminal, journey takes 2.5/3hrs I’d recommend a 3 day stay to walk and hike in the Seoraksan beautiful national park. The apartment is easy to walk from for the many cafes and homely restaurants in the town.

I’m so glad we chose to stay at KJ and Paul’s place! The location is fantastic—just a short walk to the subway, surrounded by wonderful restaurants and cafes, and perfectly nestled in the heart of Bukchon Hanok Village. Staying here offers a truly unique experience, with Gyeongbokgung Palace and Insadong both nearby for easy exploring. The house itself is peaceful at night, and we slept so well thanks to the comfortable beds and cozy comforters. I really appreciated the little touches, like the filtered hot and cold water, and the overall cleanliness of the space. KJ and Paul went above and beyond with their local recommendations—we didn’t even have time to try them all! The home’s decor is another highlight. KJ clearly has an eye for design, and we loved the quirky, creative touches throughout the house. It made our stay feel extra special and memorable. All in all, this was a wonderful stay and I’d highly recommend to anyone looking for a unique and comfortable stay in Seoul!😊

We decided to stay at May’s place although it was a bit beyond our budget as we would like to experience the traditional Korean living spaces. We didn’t regret as the cosy place is beautifully designed, nicely looked after, simple and yet with required amenities and with cute stuff found here and there. The bedding and sheets were comfortable and clean. Lighting is adjustable- smartly designed-and bathroom is pristine. On the top of that, May was amazingly responsive and helpful with all of our random questions. The location is also excellent close to the two iconic palaces, few nice hiking, lots of cafes and a local market. Bus stop and train station are within a walking distance.

This was maybe the best Airbnb we have stayed in, it was exactly how they described it. It was very clean, near the subway and the host was very helpful. We stayed for a week and it was really good to come back to this place after being out the whole day. We will definitely book here again when we go back, it really was 5 stars for us and we have already recommended it to our other friends who are planning a trip to Seoul.

It was prettier and more spacious than the pictures. The hot water in the pool was also warm, so I had a good time playing and resting well. It was such a great place to stay that I was willing to revisit!

I was there for consecutive nights, but it was a place where you could see the delicacy in all the places. Everything was neat, and the bedding and towels were all soft, so it was nice. There's a large hall, and it was a great place to relax in the city center!!! It was a place with no regrets for 2 nights and 3 days! It was healing even if I didn't go anywhere and just stayed in the accommodation. :) The host's response speed was fast, and it was nice to have a parking space. I came with my mom, and she loved it! And as soon as I enter, I like the scent. 😁 A place where every corner is cared for!

It was a very peaceful and healing time because it was in a quiet and cozy location, not far from Seoul. There are many pretty cafes and restaurants on the way, so I enjoyed all the ways to and from. All the fixtures in the accommodation were so neat and good, so my sisters complimented me for renting a luxury accommodation. (I kept wondering how you managed to keep the stainless steel products without a single scratch.) And I took the shower head filter and used it, but it was so nice that it came without any discoloration! When I first saw the outdoor pool, the older sisters laughed and asked if it was a children's pool, but during the day, we soaked our feet in cold water and took a half bath in hot water in the evening, drank beer, and the three of us couldn't get out!! I liked the pool so much that I even skipped the barbecue;;;; It was really the best healing trip! I highly recommend it. It was a shame for just one night. I'm going to go with my husband next time!! Thanks to you, it was a happy time! Thank you!!

First of all, the feedback was quick and very kind! I was worried that the pensions were usually small for 2-4 people (couple's room), but even though it was a trip for 3 men and 1 woman, the space wasn't cramped at all and there was enough space to sleep. The valley is right in front, but it's not close to a pension, but I almost felt like I was using the valley alone. So it was nice to be able to release the puppy freely. I don't think there's anyone... The water was clean, and since it was a valley, there were a lot of bugs, but there were no bugs in the accommodation. And the pool was spacious and deep (of course, when we went, we couldn't use it because it was cold, but something was running? It was nice that it was like an asmr because I kept hearing it haha) The spa was also prepared, so it was nice to be able to enjoy the open-air bath. I had a good stay!

It was an older pension, but I loved the cleanliness that I felt as soon as I entered. The bedding was in good condition and the bathroom was clean! And the reviews said that the owners were friendly, but they were really kind:) He also checked the requests right away and gave us feedback ~ I also liked the mountain view from the room, so I thought it would be nice to come back around spring and have a barbecue outside. The owner's wife also uses a hat at Santa Claus because it's Christmas. Anyway, I'm having a nice day thanks to you:)

the apartment is in a calm neighborhood. It has everything you need and a very nice roof top! we could walk up to the radio tower and also down the hill is a nice area. to take a Uber, we just got up a few stairs, to the upper road, instead of going down the hill. thanks again

Since it is a wooden building, there is a part where the kitchen floor is a little sagging, but it is natural aging, and it is a house designed for families who dream of a happy life with their children. It's still a good space that's well-maintained in detail.

I liked that the host gave quick feedback on my inquiry, and that the space was quiet, so I was able to use it late for a long time.

I had a really good time with my family. As you can see in the photos, the beautiful accommodation, and the descriptions in the accommodation were detailed and clear. I recommend it.

Allowed us to check-in early so we could start skiing in the morning. Very prompt with questions and responses. Definitely recommend

Hi boss! It's been a long time since I gathered with my really close friends on the weekend and had a really fun and cozy rest. The host is very kind, and when you arrive, please explain how to use it step by step! Thank you for responding so well even though we contacted you late at night because it was getting cold-! The accommodation is much better than the photos and is optimized for multiple people. We used both the barbecue and the cauldron, but it was easy to eat, so we were quite satisfied and ate:) The subtle cypress scent spreading in the room is also pleasant. The tools were clean and tidy, so it was really nice to use. We all complimented this place so much. I want to use it again next time! I'll book here when I get together Thank you.☺️☺️

It was nice. First of all, it was comfortable and nice that the barbecue was self-service.

This is a place I visited with friends, and it was the perfect place for 4 people to stay. I only stayed for 1 night and 2 days, but I stayed so comfortably, and it was nice to be able to have a separate barbecue on the veranda. I was a little worried that the Hinoki bathtub might not be available if the weather was cold, but fortunately, the Hinoki bathtub was also available, which was even better. All the necessary tableware and cooking utensils were prepared, so it was convenient. The bathroom is a little small, but I don't think it's a big problem. I also appreciated the recommendations of cafes and restaurants nearby.

It was a nice and healing weekend in a very remote area. The host was very friendly - thank you for everything! It is in a mountainous area with forest, so if you like hiking then this is a good place to go! The hot tub was very relaxing, too :) the pool was not usable tho. You can book the barbecue grill for a fee, which is a nice option. Maybe next time! Tipp: get everything for cooking before you come to the place, including water, because it is a very remote area. All in all we had a good stay there :) thank you!!
