Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Gardens

My family of 8 … 5 adults and 3 toddlers have just spent an amazing two weeks in Lockwood House Lulu was an excellent host. We asked for some extra items for the kids which she gladly included. The house is beautiful and in a very quiet street . I wouldn’t hesitate in coming back . Many thanks Lulu

Such a stunning property, exactly as pictured. Ian was such a warm and welcoming host. The house had everything we needed for cooking and for a very comfortable stay. The wood burning stove kept the main area warm and cozy. Would highly recommend staying here, we hope to visit again.

As a group of colleagues having each bedroom with its own bathroom was great, and the large kitchen and lounge/dining was perfect for catching up. Easy Ubers from the house to our meetings in the CBD and Conference center. Wouldn't hesitate to book it again!

We love the Tamboerskloof neighborhood and this charming spot was in a great location. Pieter's home truly felt like a home away from home, and was so cute. The kitchen was open concept and great to cook in. Pieter was a super responsive host and we so appreciated his communication. Thanks for an amazing stay!

Our two families of 9 people had a wonderful stay. The house is beautiful and the living spaces were great for our group. Beautiful views from the deck. Darren was incredibly responsive to all needs that arose. Would definitely stay here again!

Our family of 6 stayed at Sally’s home for a family reunion- we had a fabulous time! The home is so clean and spacious. The kitchen was wonderful and Brenda is so kind and helpful. The views of the ocean and mountain are stunning! We hope to stay here again in the future!

We loved our stay here while we were visiting Cape Town. It has an amazing view of the ocean and a wonderful outdoor space to enjoy it. The house was extremely clean and well-stocked for our stay, and Naomi was very kind and attentive. There is plenty of space for anywhere from a couple to a large family to stay. We will definitely book this Airbnb again on our next trip to Cape Town!

The stay at the villa was very wonderful and the owner of the villa, Catherine, was very kind and helpful. The villa is private and has everything you need.

We stayed for a week in Nat’s Seapoint apartment and loved our stay. Nat was very communicative which made everything very easy and the apartment is a delight. We loved the location and enjoyed walking both to the V&A Waterfront and the other direction to Camps Bay from Seapoint - glorious sea walks in both directions. The flat had everything we needed and was so close to restaurants and local shops - would definitely stay again if back in Cape Town!

our second family stay at this location. Large apparment with everything in it, including a washing machine and dryer. Extracter fan above the cooking platform is not working, so you'll need to open a door and window when cooking. Other than than the only downside is that the large windows let in a lot of sun and the place can get hot with sunshine. There's only a/c in the main bedroom. You can open the sliding doors and windows, which does counter most of it, but we did not want to leave the doors open during the night. The location is a short drive or a medium walk away from waterfront and a good central location to get to anywhere within cape town. Parking space is a big plus, although parking an overland safari truck is going to be a bit of a challenge and a tight fit, but not impossible. The host is great and communication was great. We were allowed a very late checkout without additional costs. I would recommend this place to to families.

I spent three happy weeks at this beautiful Tamboerskloof apartment - by the time I left it was quite the wrench! In particular it's worth mentioning the completely charming neighbourhood and lovely street with the local Cape Town icon the Blue Café just a few minutes' walk away. The apartment itself is a stunner - that view feels like a gift every morning. That said, I loved the cool rear terrace overlooking Lion's Head which for me was just as wonderful. I sat out there in the mornings with my coffee and watched the neighbours pass by, beginning their day. The ideal spot to bed in and live like a local.

I never go to the same Airbnb as I want to try out a new place each time but goodness me, this place? I will return to it over and over again. The deco, the space, the view, the comfort, the safety, the list is endless! A real home away from home. So serene and peaceful, the perfect place to unwind and take in all the beauty of Cape Town without being right in the middle of the hustle and bustle.

I really enjoyed staying at Michelle’s place. She was a wonderful host. The place is nice and fully equipped in secure and safe location. We couldn’t ask for a better place. Highly recommend it.

Fantastic place, a stones throw from the beach, short walk to the restaurants and amazing sunset views. The accommodation is spacious, well equipped and tidied/cleaned daily. Mary Louise and Sean are fantastic hosts - very responsive and were kind enough to let us check in early.

Very spacious with a great view of the business district

The property is ideal for families. We travelled with two teenagers and a ten year old and everyone had their own space they could retreat to. Very cosy home, lovely garden area with swimming pool, large kitchen and sitting area to enjoy time together as a family. It is an ideal setting to enjoy a truly relaxing, but also private holiday where we felt at home, safe and spoilt with beautiful surroundings at the same time. It is a calm neighborhood which allows for a good nights sleep. Easy walk to the city, Gardens shopping center and parks, good coffee shop and if you want to take a longer stretch also to the V&A waterfront . Truly an amazing location for your Cape Town stay. The place airs a homely atmosphere much different from many other AirBnBs and you can sense that the owners take great care and pride of the place. Super responsive hosts, often within minutes we got the answer we needed.

Camp’s Bay getaway like no other! Great team running the show, super responsive and great communication. The place is out of a dream. Phenomenal location and feng shui. Highly recommend for a medium size group or family to feel safe at night. Recommend going in the South African summer for all the Americans though.

This villa made our trip more enjoyable, everything was wonderful, the owner Mr wim was very helpful and also the maid Ms Julie was wonderful in everything. I highly recommend this villa for anyone. I can’t wait to stay there again.

We’ve just spent 4 weeks (4 adults 1 child and a baby) at the villa and it was the most amazing stay! The villa is in a perfect location and had absolutely everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. Matthew the house manager was just the best! Table Mountain Villa is so special - the house feels like a treehouse and is beautifully and thoughtfully laid out. The views of the city are sensational, sunrise through moonrise, with the mountains dramatically rising up on the other side. The house flows between spaces and feels both cozy and airy. It was our home base for adventuring all around Cape Town with our kids while also participating in a professional conference. The location was convenient and we felt well prepared with suggestions for food shops and hikes (out the back gate!) We absolutely loved the house and our time here, and the entire team was so welcoming and helpful. I hope we can make another visit. Thank you for sharing this special place.

The place is a work of art inside and outside. The view of Table mountain is breathtaking, both day and night. Tino is very kind, responsive and helpful. Can’t say enough good things about the stay.
