Tridiva truly feels like home, thanks to Meeta, Pradeep Bhaiya, and their adorable dog Oak. From the moment we arrived and were welcomed with refreshing nimbu pani, we felt the warmth of the place. Meeta is the soul of Tridiva. Her home is filled with thoughtful touches, love, and care. Every morning, I looked forward to chatting with her over tea—something that usually only happens with family. Her values, kindness, and efforts to protect nature (like preventing forest fires and reducing plastic use) are deeply inspiring. Spending time with her was a reminder of how beautiful genuine human connection can be. Huge thanks to Pradeep Bhaiya for the delicious meals—each one different, homely, and perfectly made. His aloo parathas and Pahari dal are a must-try! And then there’s Oak, the in-house dog, who helped me overcome a lifelong fear of dogs. He was my first petting experience and made a big impact. Tridiva isn’t just a stay—it’s an experience.

The homestay was absolutely lovely in all the ways we wanted :) The home itself is gorgeous, full of lots of natural light, beautiful creepers and is quiet all around. The food made by aunty was very tasty, Ragi was very friendly, and everyone was very warm in opening up their home to us. Deeply appreciate Arjun's prompt communication and his being such a generous and respectful host. Wish we could have stayed for longer, but even so, it was great to spend a day here!

We had a truly memorable 3-night stay at this beautiful villa nestled in the hills. The peaceful surroundings, fresh mountain air, and breathtaking views made it the perfect escape from the city. The villa itself was spacious, well-maintained, and thoughtfully designed with all the comforts of home. One of the highlights of the property was the apricot and peach trees – such a delightful touch! We even got to enjoy some fresh fruit straight from the trees. The hosts were warm, welcoming, and always available for any help or guidance, every moment here felt special. Highly recommended for anyone looking to unwind, reconnect with nature, and create lasting memories. Would love to return!

We had the most beautiful stay at The Buraansh in Padampuri. From the moment we arrived, everything felt just perfect. The property is tucked away in peaceful surroundings, far from the hustle and bustle—truly a hidden gem amidst nature 🌿. The house itself is aesthetically done with so much love and care. Every corner felt warm, cozy, and thoughtfully designed. The plush lawn area quickly became a favorite spot for our family—whether it was morning tea, evening chats, or just soaking in the serenity. A special shoutout to Ravindra and Karan, the amazing caretaker and cook, who made our stay extra memorable. His homely food was delicious and comforting, and his warm hospitality made us feel completely at home. Our parents and child enjoyed every bit of it—we all left with happy hearts and memories to cherish. Eversince I had the opportunity to interview Chetan for a podcast many years ago, I had wondered about the lifestyle he chose and now manages very well. It was a bummer that he himself was out of town while we visited the Cob House for a small break for the family summer vacations recently. The Cob House is beautifully crafted and is both earthy and luxurious at once. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay — from thoughtfully designed common areas where you can soak in the sun and take in stunning Himalayan views, to the smaller details that make a big difference and to top it all the delicious locally inspired meals! A truly special stay. Can’t wait to return for a longer stay!

My family had a memorable stay of 4 nights at Jannat cottage. So much so, that we were all planning our next holiday to this place on the 2nd day itself!! The Cottage is strategically located, away from the hustle bustle. Its interior is beautifully done up as shown in the pictures. My children loved sleeping in the attic every single night (where all games, carom etc are kept). The highlight for us was the huge outdoor Deck overlooking the mountains! We had our breakfast there every morning. All meals were delicious and lovingly prepared by Sunil’s in house cook plus caretaker, Prakash and his wife, Pushpa. What a delightful couple they are! Full of local stories to share every evening. And how can I not mention Noor, the 2 year old Alsatian, a not-so-little bundle of energy who kept us on our toes literally whenever we were in the Cottage! By the time we left Jannat, it felt like we had left a piece of our heart behind

I had a truly wonderful stay at La Maison 757 in Almora. The homestay has a cozy, welcoming charm and is surrounded by stunning views of the hills. What really made the experience exceptional, though, was the hospitality of the host, Sapna. She was incredibly responsive, warm, and thoughtful throughout our stay—always just a message away and eager to ensure we were comfortable. One of the highlights was the delightful evening snacks ,I ordered.There's something incredibly comforting about sipping a cup of hot chocolate or ginger lemon tea in the cool mountain air, and the freshly made bread pakoras were absolutely delicious—crispy, flavorful, and just the right kind of indulgent after a day of exploring. These little touches made us feel truly at home

Our stay in syat house was worry-free and perfect, thanks to the beautiful room, the beautiful calm and trashfree landscape, the supernice stuff and the delicious provided three times buffet in the open garden kitchen each day. You pay for the food on top of the room price shown on Airbnb, but it's definetly worth it. The stuff is actually around the garden kitchen whole day, so that there is always somebody available. For people who think it might be a bit far from the entry of the nationalpark: there is a entry about 5minutes away and you can book a safari picking you up from syat house and bringing you quickly in the animal spotting areas. Ah and: after the warnings of Aditya for a lot insectfriends I expected endless spiders and more but in the end we spotted only one tiny lizard in the very far ceiling corner of the room and that was it (was in April). So don't be scared! We would love to come back one day :)
