The accommodation was beautifully located in a very quiet location with a breathtaking view. Everything was clean and furnished with love so that you can only feel comfortable from the first moment. It had everything you need, we also loved the many kitchen utensils and the grill, which we used every day. The terrace with whirlpool, lounge, loungers and table were the highlight. We spent a lot of time in the accommodation because we felt so comfortable. Calheta beach is 5 minutes by car and highly recommended. We also found the private parking lot great. Bruno and Maria are very accommodating and also asked how we are and if we need anything. The location was perfect for us, very quiet, lots of privacy and yet we can get everywhere by car. We loved our stay in Antonio’s apartment. It was extremely clean and spacious and had everything we needed and then some. It even had a parking garage for our car. I appreciated that Antonio provided plenty of coffee, soap, shampoo and even laundry detergent. That was really nice and convenient. I loved sitting on the deck overlooking the gorgeous ocean view drinking my coffee or sipping a glass of wine. It was so relaxing! I highly recommend booking Antonio’s place. He is a superb, kind host and will go above and beyond to make sure you are comfortable and happy.

Daniel’s apartment was the perfect place for our trip to Madeira. It is located very central right next to all the main areas and within 100m of the beach and the main dining area. The apartment was very well maintained. Everything was in pristine condition. Air conditioning worked perfectly and even the kitchen was super useful. He also put a Marshall speaker inside which was super useful and a private terrace. Daniel also prepared a file full of local recommendations for restaurants and an itinerary and also clear instructions. Would recommend!

Perfect place to stay in Funchal, walking distance from town, private car park, the apartment had everything I needed and was super clean. Isabel was very friendly and answered quickly. I'll definitely book again if I'm coming back to Funchal

Very nice flat, even nicer host! Gave us itinerary and complimentary fruit and Madeira cake aswell as leaving soap and suncream. Very spacious flat, good air conditioning and parking was very useful. Apartment is in a perfect location close to the city centre! Highly recommend!!!!!!!!!

We had the chance to meet Filomena who was very welcoming. Spacious and extremely well-equipped apartment with a superb view of Funchal and a magnificent garden 🤩 There is even air conditioning if needed, which we did not use. To easily get to Funchal, there is a bus 100 m away that takes us there in 30 minutes for 2 euros. There was always room to park in the street in front of the accommodation. The price does not include the tourist tax, which is 14 euros per person for 7 nights. Of course, we would recommend this place.

Overall we loved our stay with Antonieta. Beautiful home, it is absolutely stunning, better than the pictures show. She was incredibly responsive and provided very clear instructions as well as recommendations for Madeira. I would absolutely stay again if I were to come back to Funchal. Navigating Madeira is quite difficult and if you’re not used to driving through narrow roads, this Airbnb is a little difficult to get to but we managed very well despite this to get in and out. There is some road construction that blocked off one of the access roads so you do have to drive around the neighborhood to be rerouted to the correct street. Overall great stay!!

We had a lovely stay in a beautiful, pristine, peaceful home. Well equipped kitchen. Maria has thought of everything. The outside space was really great, plenty of space to enjoy the pool along with the outside kitchen BBQ. We walked to the botanical gardens which was 10 minutes away. Two small supermarkets and bakery 3 minutes walk from the house. We walked in Funchal several times and caught a taxi home. Lovely climate and beautiful surroundings.

An absolutely stunning space. Janine was incredibly helpful and proactive with setting us up with detailed instructions on how to access everything along with local recommendations. The location was perfect and the space had everything we needed to relax and enjoy beautiful sunsets over the Atlantic after the days hikes. Truly a dream airbnb for peace, tranquility, and amazing beauty. We cant rave about this place enough. So grateful for its existence.

Our stay at the Larimar house was great! Laura was an excellent host and very responsive. Our checkin, stay, and checkout were smooth and easy. The house is in a great location right beside the ocean with a beautiful walk along the ocean possible right outside the door. The location was very central and made it easy to drive to all the hikes we went on. Would highly recommend staying here during your time in Madeira!

Very nice apartment, well-equipped and well-located for visiting the island. Daniela's instructions allowed us to quickly take possession of the premises. The only small downside is the road, located at the bottom of the valley, very busy and noisy when you want to enjoy the terrace during the day.

Our stay at Jorge’s place was fantastic and we would highly recommend it to any active travellers. The accommodation was just perfect. We felt safe, comfortable and relaxed when there, although we were mostly out exploring the wonderful island. The parking can be tricky but if you were like us and out from 5am and back at 3pm, parking was never an issue, although tight spaces (I recommend getting a small hire car!). 30-40 minute walk to the centre of Funchal and 15-20 bars on the way! The local bars and restaurants were all good but our favourites were Horta and Mau Fetitio if you want excellent food and service. We wanted to go to Il Basilica but they were fully booked most nights. The day trip to Porto Santo is great, very worthwhile and very relaxing but not a lot going on. We went to Pe Na Agua which was really good. Hiring e-bikes is highly recommended. The mountains reputations speak for themselves. Parking at Arieiro gets busy from 5am and costs €20 for the day. Plan well.

From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the absolutely stunning apartment. It was incredibly well-equipped with everything we could possibly need for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The beautiful location was a real highlight, boasting amazing sea views from the balcony that we enjoyed every single day. The lovely swimming pools on site were a fantastic bonus, perfect for a refreshing dip. Our hosts, Mariana and Ricardo, were so welcoming and helpful, always on hand to answer any questions and offer local tips. The great wifi was a practical plus, and we loved that the apartment was within walking distance to the main shops, making everything so convenient. The accommodation convinces with the fantastic view - at breakfast and dinner we enjoyed the view very much! Unfortunately, the nearby main street is louder than expected. The accommodation is equipped with everything you need, especially the washing machine we were very happy to use during our longer stay, in the kitchen you can also cook a little more extensively. The apartment is attractively furnished, but in some places it is a bit outdated. The apartment is outside the city, you should definitely have a rental car, but you can reach some great hiking starting points by car a little faster.

We loved our week at Nuno's place! The apartment was lovely and bright, we loved to soak in the sun on the terrace. Nuno is very caring host :) Madeira's air is wonderful, and with the terrace door open, the apartment was always filled with fresh air- so good to sleep like that. The terrace is not too windy as well! Just the perfect breeze blowing by. Definitely would recommend the apartment!

We stayed for a week with 4 people in a very nice apartment. We enjoyed the 2 bedrooms and 2 baths. Ideal for 2 couples. We highly recommend this clean and tastefully decorated accommodation. The place was clean and spacious. The location was close to shops and restaurants. Monica and Eddy were responsive during our stay and answered any questions I may have. I definitely would stay here again.
