This is the best place l have stayed, a home away from home. The Host literally the best. i would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a place to stay. Side note, the place feels very safe and security is tight. Loooove it and definitely coming back

Really enjoyed my stay. Shashi's flat was incredible. Very clean, luxurious, comfortable and safe. There are INCREDIBLE views from the balcony and both bedrooms - the photos do not do it justice. The restaurant and concierge downstairs were very convenient.

12/10. It’s not usually possible to exceed perfection but Paton and Byron’s place sure did. The apartment was warm and cozy and had everything you needed for a short or long stay. It was extremely clean which is a big deal for me to say because I work in hospitality and do room inspections for a living. What Paton and Byron brought to the table as hosts is overwhelming kindness, understanding and generosity. If you want to have a remarkable stay in joburg, book this place or anyone of their units at ellipse waterfall. You won’t regret it! Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful stay at this unique home in Kyalami. The place felt like a private lodge, with quirky decor that added so much charm and character. We especially loved spotting the deer and tortoises roaming around—it gave the whole experience a peaceful, nature-filled vibe. The garden, pool, and outdoor area were perfect for relaxing and enjoying the stunning African sunsets. The 4-bedroom house was spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped for a group. Gary, the host, was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our stay. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a tranquil, one-of-a-kind getaway close to nature.

This villa is an absolute gem! The pictures simply don’t capture the beauty of this place. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the stunning views and peaceful surroundings. It was a perfect getaway to enjoy with friends. Samantha was an exceptional host, friendly, responsive and always ready to assist with queries, making our stay even more enjoyable. We had a lovely stay, no complaints. Anita and her husband were very responsive. We had a barbecue and us ladies couldn’t figure out how to turn on the BBQ stand and Anita’s husband arrived within 5mins to help us out! There was a moment of load shedding and he showed up immediately to turn on the solar before we eben called. The responsiveness made it feel so safe. We felt safe during the entirety of our stay at all hours which we appreciate as we were visiting from Australia so we were super worried before arriving. The house was pristine. The kitchen utensils were thoughtfully selected. Using everything felt so comfortable. We felt right at home and so so so hope that this Airbnb will be available next time we’re back because we will definitely book again! Thank you so much Anita and husband

I loved my stay at Dream before Dawn and would recommend this home when travelling to Pretoria. The home was exactly as described and there were lovely extra touches like fresh fruit and muffins, water and juice bottles, all the bathroom amenities and soaps etc. The host was very proactive and response to my questions, and made sure I had everything I needed.

Exactly as pictured and more!! What a treat, tucked away and surrounded by beautiful greenery all around the property. It is decorated with stunning pieces but still feels like home away from home. My visit was short but I will be back. Tash and the housekeeper Shayla were so sweet and helpful through the entirely of our stay.

From the moment we arrived, Louise was available to check us in and explain about the accommodation. She was very responsive to messages, and the studio was well stocked for self catering and for a comfortable stay. The bed was unbelievably comfortable, there was plenty of hot water, and the surroundings were very quiet and peaceful. I would highly recommend Louise’s place for anyone looking to stay in Joburg.

If you don’t like those awkward conversations with the host this is the place for you, you won’t see your host💯
