We enjoyed our time at Maria's apartment. It's a two-floor house with two apartments on each floor. Each apartment had a separate entry, so we saw people living upstairs. No doubt, the main treasure of this place - the view from the terrace. We spent long evenings sitting on the terrace watching the sunset. The apartment itself had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

My husband and I spent a lovely week at Asteri Home. The house was exactly as expected and just what we wanted for our week in Crete. The kitchen was well-equipped and allowed us to make breakfasts and a some dinners at home. The main double bedroom was big enough and comfortable. The bathroom is a bit dark and the shower is quite small, but we made do. The most amazing part of the house is the huge garden overlooking the sea that has 4 sun loungers, 2 outdoor tables for dining, a BBQ and a dart board. We spent a lot of time sitting at the end of the garden enjoying the view. Véronique and Yiannis are amazing hosts. They were so helpful right from the start - arranging transport from the airport, a rental car, offering suggestions for restaurants and places to visit. Kokkini Hani is quieter than other more touristy parts of Crete we visited. We found wonderful Greek restaurants with fresh seafood everyday. The supermarket and shops are all in walking distance. A lovely place!

We had a wonderful time. The apartment is beautiful and totally clean. Everything you need is available and the terrace is a highlight. Communication with the host was always fast, nice and helpful. Everything was perfect

I stayed for a week in Eirini's place as I was in town for a wedding. The room was rustic and charming and was perfectly clean. Location was excellent, right off the main square. Eirini was lovely and very flexible, as I arrived late. She even changed my linen and towels midway through my stay, which was a lovely treat. The homemade biscuits and sweets and bottle of raki left in the room was very generous. Wifi worked great as I had to work while I was staying. I would highly recommend this place to anybody staying in Archanes looking for an authentic Greek place to stay!

This is our second stay at Stefanos apartment. The apartment is perfect for us, great value and exactly as photos with the most amazing view. Absolutely recommend and we will definitely be back again!

This place is honestly a 10/10, I’d totally recommend it and would gladly come back. One of the best accommodations we’ve stayed in so far. What I loved most was the access to the sea. It’s a bit rocky, but if you’re a confident swimmer and have water shoes, it’s no problem. You can just step out of the garden and get straight into the water. The house itself is really pleasant, well-ventilated and cool. We stayed in June and didn’t even need the air conditioner. Just opening the windows in the morning and then closing them once the sun hit was enough to keep things comfortable. The terrace is huge, we spent loads of time there and in the garden, which is nicely shaded by the trees out front. Inside, I really appreciated the furniture — it has a traditional, authentic feel to it, definitely not your average IKEA setup. And last but not least, the host was incredibly welcoming professional, and warm. Overall, a fantastic stay.

We had a great stay at this apartment for four days. The place was very clean, spacious, with a beautiful view of the sea, and in a great location for exploring the area. The hosts were very kind and welcoming, and the kitchen was fully equipped. We would be happy to stay here again.

Antonia and Stella's house is very convenient and really very clean. There are wonderful views of Heraklion Bay. And the surroundings are quiet. Check-in and check-out information is impeccable, we arrived directly. Rodia is 15 minutes from the port of Heraklion, so very convenient for excursions in this city. We had a lovely week at this place, beautiful views of Heraklion and the sea. The host is very responsive, we even had a small basket when we arrived with breakfast and sandwiches, very nice when you arrive straight from the airport.

Very nice accommodation, with really great amenities. It is exactly as described and as shown in the pictures. There was already a very good selection of food, as well as lots of fresh fruit and water. Check-in /out via key box very uncomplicated and flexible. Very comfortable two bedrooms. Fantastic location right on the shore with their own access to the water. A lot of good restaurants with in a walking distance.

If you wish to experience a secluded garden by a non-travelled beach, almost like your own access to the sea, that is the place. A very good taverna is few meters away. Nothing best to let stress, driving, movida and consumerism behind one's shoulders for some days. Dimitri and his family have created a heaven of peace and a beautiful garden. The holiday-house from their parents is still decorated like in the 80s, but all the essentials are there. The generous welcoming, with a large basket of fruit, olive oil and salad from the herb garden, complete the feeling of coming home. Efkaristò! Many thanks! Rossella

I would choose it again and again as it was a spotless space, well-kept and the host was friendly and informative in everything we needed. 👏

Starting with care before arrival, through a tour of the apartment, numerous recommendations about Rethymno, refreshments with cake, honey and other food, and finally fulfilling a special request. We had a lovely stay at Sofia and her father Georgios' apartment - we particularly enjoyed the 2 balconies and the great location for the city centre. Good view over similar height buildings all around on three sides (5 floors with small lift). There was a delay replying to messages 2wks before (important as wanted to confirm they knew we were due to arrive late) but once that was sorted Georgios was lovely, meeting and chatting to us even though we arrived at midnight and providing a baby pram and cot. The apartment was as described and well looked after, though some doors were hard to shut, both bedroom black-out blinds bit stuck (so light) and some fittings from the 70s. It would have been good to have some bottled water on arrival (as we didn't want to drink tap water) but lots of condiments, shower gel, washing machine etc provided. A few mosquitos, initially none, after we watered the plants (in Oct) but good aircon in 3 rooms. It was good value and I would book again.

Without a doubt, choosing this accommodation made our stay a success! I was lucky to be in Heraklion for quite a few days and the house was all I needed. The air conditioning and balcony allowed a very pleasant temperature in the house at all times. The kitchen comes with all the essentials, as well as the rooms. The house is very cozy and also in a perfect location to access the center and with several bus stops nearby. However, the best part of this stay was having Liana and her hospitality. She made excellent recommendations, accompanied us throughout the stay and made us feel at home, much more than you could ask for! I can't recommend this place enough, a great stay.

the house matches the listing, indeed in reality it is even more spacious, beautiful outdoor spaces on the front and back, cool in the evening there is no need for air conditioning. the location is convenient to the main road that crosses Crete and Heraklion, but remains out of the chaos of the city in a super quiet location. despite not having met the host it is as if he had been there with us, on our arrival we found to welcome us walnuts and honey, typical sweets, chocolate, jam, fruit, beer, wine, raki and water. really a warm welcome. the house has everything you could need. the thought found on the stairs the last day completed an already beautiful experience. I therefore recommend the accommodation to anyone who wants to have a quiet base in Crete.
