Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Gedinne

Beautiful, large house! Quiet and very centrally located, walking and cycling from the house. 2 spacious terraces. Clean kitchen and bathroom, 2 bedrooms with good beds and plenty of storage space. A big plus is the second toilet upstairs! We had a very nice stay in David's home and our dog was also very welcome!

What a beautiful house, and equipped with every comfort. A well-equipped kitchen, multiple toilets and bathrooms, beautiful bedrooms. The house was very tidy and clean on arrival, but warm and stylish, so we felt immediately at home and at ease. Within walking distance of the restaurants of Bouillon, in the old part, but at the same time quietly located and parking in front of the door. I can't help but highly recommend Sophie's house.

We had a wonderful stay in Gembes. The accommodation is extremely spacious, refurbished with a neat decor and that respects the soul of the house. The kitchen is incredibly beautiful and full of utensils, and high-end appliances. The bedrooms and bathrooms complement each other, leaving privacy for everyone. Finally, the children's playroom and the garden allow for a good recreational time! A place to put your suitcases and enjoy! Thank you for everything, you live in a beautiful area!

A wonderful weekend at Stéphane and Dominique's. We regret not having extended our stay to enjoy the place and the surroundings. Small, nice and peaceful brunch on Sunday morning on the terrace. Our daughter, who got married the day before, enjoyed the calm and peaceful nature after this festive event! We highly recommend the Gîte du Commandant 🙏

Our stay was to our liking. We were surprised with 2 drinks waiting for us in the fridge. Furthermore, all the amenities were very good. We did notice that there were many insects in and around the house. Both in the kitchen and on the base of the bed, but this was the only thing that bothered us during the stay. Furthermore, the balcony was fantastic to enjoy the quiet surroundings in the afternoon

What an amazing place to stay! Right on the Meuse river. Brilliant. The property itself is lovely, internet is good, tvs with Netflix etc in all rooms. Just a note that you do need own sheets or costs extra. This was somewhat lost in translation for us. Host was brilliant. Helpful and responsive. Note that finding the property can be a bit difficult as it’s not on a road but a bike path. But you will figure it out :) Would love to stay here again, was excellent.

It’s a lovely, bright, comfortable, charming, and very clean studio apartment right next to the train station, about 10 minutes walk to the grocery store and lovely town square. Great bed. Flawless, fast internet. The host was very responsive to my communications. Charleville-Mézières is also a surprisingly lovely and charming town in the Ardennes Forest with a verdant river & lots of walking trails. I spent a month here as a base for trips to Belgium and Germany and Lille. They clean the place once a week and left some great food when I arrived. However, the chair next to the desk is uncomfortable to sit in and work in all day. Also, twice when I was cooking with both burners, the circuit was blown and I had to open the electrical panel to turn on the power again. So you should cook using only one burner at a time. Finally, you can hear the train station announcements all day long, but they aren’t too loud and I didn’t mind. It’s silent at night. Overall I was very happy here.

I was hosted very well by Jean François. The apartment is very well located in the pretty village of Rochehaut. Jean François gave good advice about the restaurants in the village. He washed some of the clothes that had endured a long day of cycling. My bike was able to spend the night sheltered in its garage. Nothing else to say.

We had a fantastic time in the vacation home! From the first contact, everything went very smoothly. The communication with the host was friendly, clear and fast – we felt welcome right away. Upon arrival we found a beautifully cared for and clean home, fully equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The location was perfect – quiet, yet close to all the sights in the area. The small, thoughtful details in the house (such as a welcome drink, 2bio eggs and neatly made beds) really made the difference. Thanks to this nice place and the welcoming reception, we were really able to enjoy and recharge. We will definitely come back here! Recommended for anyone looking for comfort, tranquility and a carefree stay.

Too much is too much...but when it's true...! Despite our age, the accommodation is perfect. Ideal location, in the historic city center, impeccably like home, basic shops at the door for a short or medium stay for reduced strides, multi-parking solutions for a vehicle. And then the Ardennes! as soon as you cross the towns or villages. This first Airbnb contact is a success. Recognition.

Second time we went there, everything went very well. Frying stove on at check-in. We enjoyed the hot tub. See you very soon certainly.

We had a very nice stay. We stayed here with several couples and children. Everything was provided. It is very clean. There is plenty of space and something for everyone.

We were there with 6 adults and 3 small children for 5 days and celebrated a wonderful birthday there. A great house, superbly equipped in the kitchen area. Unfortunately, there was only 1 cot and 1 high chair, maybe you could be a little more flexible! And the discussion with the size of the duvet covers and sheets and renting the bed linen when using a double bed as a single person (here you have to book the bed linen for 2 people!) is probably very narrow-minded for such a great house and the price. But otherwise a very quiet location with a wonderful view, a fantastic whirlpool, which you have to heat up early enough and a billiard room round off this exclusive house very much! We stayed with a group of 14 people for a wonderful long weekend in this house. In reality, it is even more spacious than the photos suggest. The house is spacious, sufficient bedrooms beds, (note!! bring your own bedding read the instructions carefully) and a very friendly and helpful host Johnny. In short, if you are looking for a nice house in a quiet beautiful area with the family or some friends, with a play area equipped with billiards, darts, jukebox and karaoke (really fantastic) then you are at the right place!!

We had a great time with the family at Alexis' mansion. Jonas was a charming and considerate host. The road ahead is not a problem in terms of noise, like the supermarkets around. I was a little worried about it, but it wasn't the case, and the Carrefour behind the fence proved to be very useful many times! The bedding was also very good, note that you need to arrive with your bed and shower sheets. In short, a place to recommend if you are a large group. The only small plus to add would be a toilet on the ground floor (toilets in each room), but hey, there you go. A big thank you Jonas for sharing this! Kind regards

Check-in and check-out, as well as communication with Andreea, went smoothly. The house, pool, sauna, and garden were in a really good and well-kept condition. Due to the proximity to the next houses, there is potential for conflict if things get a bit noisy, however.

We had a wonderful active weekend with friends in the Ardennes. The accommodation exceeded our expectations, two spacious terraces, spacious dining table, both inside and outside.

Wonderful! We spent our Pentecost vacation at Audrey's house. A beautiful house with great views, very specially furnished. The kitchen was very well equipped and Audrey had left a few drinks and chips for us in the fridge. On Friday evening, a nice welcome after a long drive. The weather was not so good, but our children still used the pool. It was nice to light the pellet stove, which was filled for the first few hours. Refill pellets were cheap to get at the supermarket. Everything is as stated, Audrey was quick with the answers and very friendly. The area is great, Dinant even accessible by bike. In the village itself, there is a small proxy that is open 7 days a week until 8 pm. All in all, a very nice stay. We will definitely be back again.
