Ski-in/Ski-out holiday rentals in Geilo

We felt very comfortable in the beautiful and cozy house! The kitchen was great! I'm sure we will be happy to come back!

We had a nice stay at the small, cozy hut. Close to many Hills with a nice View from the bed. The kitchen hast everything you would need and there ist enough space for up to 4 people.

Our stay here was incredible. We booked for 4 people but this place could easily accommodate 8. The place was clean and tidy and offered everything we needed and more, with beautiful surroundings and a private and authentic feel. Things like extra towels, a pantry with some basic items like rice and pasta, food in the freezer and an easy to use washing machine and dryer really made us feel well looked after. We stayed when temperatures were between -10 and -18 Celsius but the house always felt cosy. The nearest Ski bus stop is a 7-10 minute walk away and the nearest supermarket and ‘town’ area are a 25 minute walk away. If you enjoy walking then the location is fine but we opted to hire a car from the airport to use for our transfers which I would highly recommend. This made collecting ski hire, shopping and travelling to the different slopes much easier as there is lots of parking areas. 10/10 stay. I have already recommended to friends and family.

A simply wonderful place to enjoy the Norwegian upland, with ski trails from the door, super floor heating, warm historic vibe, and a comfy couch. It has two tables that seat six, a kitchen with tools, utensils and servingware to cook for a crowd of 12 (or more) and serve them coffee and wine, and a dishwasher for cleanup. It’s very well-equipped—like visiting an aunt with one of everything—so there was a right-sized ski pole when we broke one, an extra pulk and harness, plastic sleds for a small army of children, extra ski wax and tools, and the mudroom has long benches for booting on/off, and tons of hooks for hanging outerwear. When wood for the fireplace ran low, Bengt responded quickly.and had it delivered. There are tons of books in the Nordic languages as well as English on many topics including the local area and beyond. The market in Ustaoset is a short walk/ski, and Geilo was easy to reach by bus, train, or taxi for stores, dining, or a downhill ski. Love. This. Place.

Great place to be with big family with pets, quiet and beautiful place that you just want to come back to. Located nice, private by the water, ski slopes and short distance to all amenities. Above expectations beautiful, decorated for Christmas. Amazingly cozy and real Christmas vibe. Nice and good communication with the landlord. Thanks a lot :-).

The place is well located. It's spacious. It has a well equipped kitchen. The hosts provided useful information about the surrounding area.

Top cosy cabin in a lovely surroundings. Stayed 4 nights over New Year. As Bjørnar was abroad at the time, his mother went out of her way to make our stay as perfect as possible! The house was heated upon our arrival. She even picked us up from nearby as it was a bit tricky to find the place. Good to know that when lots of snow, you need appropriate car tires for snow and ice. We could loan cross country skies and even winter boots as our son forgot his at home. We enjoyed the fully equipped kitchen, the two fire places, walks nearby, surround sound system on TV for great movie nights! We hope to come back one day!

Everything was great! Very cozy accommodation with fireplace, modern kitchen and bathroom and a great view of the mountains. The kitchen could be a little better equipped in terms of e.g. oil, spices, garbage bags, etc. Otherwise, we felt very comfortable and would recommend it to everyone.

Good visit, nothing to add! Cottage was warm even in winter.

We had a really lovely stay. The location is amazing directly on the ski slope with beautiful views. Fred was incredibly welcoming, helpful, and quick to respond. Remember snow chains - the apartment is located high ⛷️

A spontaneous booking on the same day was still possible and the house was super cozy and had everything you needed. If you can take care of yourself and a toilet over the yard does not bother you, you should drive the extra mile to stay here!

We were a group of friends going cross-country skiing in the mountains. We had nice mountain hikes and a fantastic nice stay. Steep icy roads up to the cabin and no light in the cabin when we arrived in the dark. But Mai-Britt was very helpful and responded quickly to the phone so we easily found our way and were also helpful with calling a tractor to improve road conditions. Otherwise very nice cabin that had everything we needed for a great week in the mountains😊

Elisabeth is a very nice and helpful person! And her cabinn is full of good karma and relaxition💓🦋 She is one of those people who restores your faith in humanity🌎🌍🌏

My wife and I had a great few days in this beautiful hytte and its surroundings. You're literally in nature, and on two of the nights, we even saw a moose grazing right outside the windows. As for the interior – it has everything you need for a comfortable stay. And last but not least, there are plenty of hiking and trail running opportunities. From the short and easy climb to the 'neighbor' mountain Ålfjell to the more demanding hike up Grønsennknippa – which you can actually see through the front windows.

Fantastic cabin. You can find the wonderful mountain view right outside the windows it was just as in the photos.

We had a great time at the house with our kid and friends visiting from abroad. The house is very modern and spacious. The view is fantastic. We had everything we needed for a chill long weekend. Per Inge replied all our messages very fast. We appreciated flexibility with check-in and check-out. We would definitely stay at this property again.

We had a wonderful stay at Heidi and Kristoffers beautiful cabin. Exquisite location with fabulous views, with great walking paths in close vicinity. They were fantastic hosts and responded immediately to all of our enquiries. We particularly loved the design and layout of the cabin, and felt very comfortable throughout the duration of our stay. We prepared big meals, and really made good use of they're kitchen (an italian in tow)... It should be noted that if you are having big meals be prepared to refill the water tank. For washing up and of course shower purposes. For us this added an extra charm and we really didn't mind refilling at the well just on the doorstep. My daughter loved assisting with the buckets. We had a fabulous 4 day break and found the cabin and it's amenities all very satisfying. As 3 adults, a labrador and a 5 year old, it really did tick all the boxes. Why are eager to return in future!

The hut is located in a small settlement about 40 mins south of Geilo. Everything was as described and we had plenty of space for 6 adults. The surrounding nature is stunning and you have a lot of options to explore it. With the fireplace, hot tub and sauna the hut is also suited well to stay in and have a relaxing day. We had a wonderful time and are looking forward to come back again!

We had a lovely stay in the cozy little cottage in the most beautiful surroundings. The staff was very sweet and gave us good tips for nice hikes in the area :-)

Well-equipped and incredibly pretty cabin, central with brilliant views morning and evening. Ida was very nice and responded quickly. The cabin was clean, the interior very nice with lots of nice details. Quality over both cabin, atmosphere, location and hosting.
