Very lovely stay, hope to come back one day ! The house is really magical and everything was as clean and functional. The water has a bit of a taste, like some other guests noted, so we brought a few bottles with us just for drinking and it was no problem. Bente left us some delicious home-made biscuits for our arrival. It was easy to access and park. It snowed a lot, but everything was regularly plowed. Thank you for everything !

We were very much looking forward to our stay in Norway and the host was always available. We chose to stay in peace and nature with sauna and hot tub. For the use of this, we had to pay extra which is not very clearly stated. For this price, maybe a little more wood provided because you will certainly not be able to use this and since the price is already pricey anyway, if this is unlimited, we find it. The house was clean, spacious and beautiful view. However, a dangerous staircase, especially the hole down when you are upstairs. Children who are playing do not always have this in mind, maybe a fence provided for safety! The fireplace is definitely a plus because we love this coziness. We were able to admire the northern lights 5 of the 6 nights from the terrace. The kitchen equipment may be a little more extensive. We missed a mixer to mix our soup and a colander to shake off the spaghetti.

A charming guesthouse located in a peaceful area. It is perfect for families as there is plenty of space for children to play at, and many options for a scenic walk or nearby trip. Einar is also a nice host and easy to communicate with. We hope to come back and we recommend this place!

Sindre's cabin is very cozy and conveniently decorated, and matches exactly with descriptions and photos. It is quiet and peaceful in stunning nature. Sindre very helpful and replied quickly to our inquiries. Highly recommended!

We were a group of 7 people and felt very comfortable from the beginning. The house is well furnished, the kitchen is equipped with everything you need. We cooked a lot and enjoyed the beautiful view of the fjord and the surrounding mountains. The location is quiet and perfect for ski tours! Near the house there are countless possibilities. For us it was the perfect place to stay and Wenche and Bjorn very friendly and committed hosts. Thank you!

When we left Marit's home, we all felt a little emotional. The trip had been such a great time of rest and adventure, and the place felt like home. We ate breakfast and dinner at the home, which saved a lot of money, and we were also able to do laundry, which was incredibly helpful since we had packed very small bags. It would be impossible to describe how beautiful the home and surrounding countryside is - I live in a farming town in the mountains and it's hard to impress me with natural beauty, but Vik took our breath away. We listened to the bells of the sheep every morning and evening and hiked in the mountains above the rental. We watched local people play soccer and children go to school and boats come and go. We drove to Flam (beautiful, but Vik is 1000% more lovely), took a ferry to Balestrand (worth it), and fell in love with the drive over the tundra above Vik. Marit was a perfect, warm, kind, lovely host and we can't recommend the rental enough. We miss it already.

Great secluded cottage. Makes for easy viewing of the Auroras.

We were very welcome. Ola was already waiting for us. After a short tour, we were able to settle into the cabin. The cabin is very authentic and very cozy with the fireplace. The bathroom is in the main building, but not far at all and was very clean and is private. Highly recommended to explore the beautiful region from that location.

We were looking for a place for a short stay, with easy access to various attractions in this part of Norway. Frank's house was perfect for that. It's located about two hours from Nordkapp and right by the scenic road to Havøysund. The house has a beautiful view over a river, fjord and mountains. The village is super calm and there's nothing to do there but we liked it that way. The living room is spacious and offers lots of comfortable places to sit - pillows on the windowsill, armchairs, sofa, take your pick. Wi-fi was super fast but its range didn't extend to the terrace. Frank's house is right across the river. That's useful if you need any help as he can come in two minutes. At the same time, this means less privacy as the two houses face each other. The bedrooms could use proper curtains and not just blinds because they still let in a lot of light through the sides (we used some blankets to make the bedroom darker; otherwise it was impossible to sleep in the summer).

The location and the accommodation were great! We were 2 people so we stayed in the annex, which is different than the main bigger accommodation. The view was fantastic and the space was great! Well equipped kitchen and quite spacious!

This hytte was the best we ever stayed at! We loved the cosy interior, all the equipment (nice coffee machine, speaker, books, Rituals scents,…), the views, the good tips from Gunn Veronika and her overall kindness. We really felt at home away from home! Thanks for everything!

We had a great stay at Åshild's place. The home was much more beautiful than the photos and so was the view. We enjoyed it to the fullest. We had our 1 year old baby girl and it was safe and nice and a lovely place to be with a baby. Definitely recommend. We hope to come back one day!

Beautiful place! We were in a group of nine and each of us easily found space for ourselves. Two bathrooms and many sleeping places provided us with full comfort. The area is quiet, picturesque and conducive to relaxation. There is a well-stocked 24-hour shop nearby, which was a great convenience. The host responded quickly to all questions, and the house itself was fully equipped — we lacked nothing. Both check-in and check-out went smoothly and without any problems. I highly recommend it!

Really lovely nature escape perfect in a new cabin!

very nice cottage, met all expectations with beautiful nature. anette was very helpful and answered questions as soon as possible. She also informed us about work in the area and activities/restaurants. however, the road towards the cottage was unpaved, which mainly made it harder to get to the cottage in the beginning. beautiful cottage and recommended for anyone who wants to find nature and tranquility. ps. nearest supermarket is about 15/20 minutes by car from the cottage. 5/5 ❤️🇧🇻
