I rent my apartment when I am abroad. It is small and very cute. Ideal for a single person or for a couple (double bed width 140cm). You can not find more in the center than that. You do not need a car to move around and you are close to everything (restaurants, shopping, lake, public transport, supermarket, art galleries, monuments to visit, museums, etc ...)
