Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Gengenbach

Unfortunately, the weather was only good on the last day. The swimming pool was fine. The house is divided into two parts, one of which is occupied by the hostess. However, only we were allowed to use the bathroom. The location is rather rural (in a village), and there are only a few leisure opportunities nearby.

We had a great stay, all 3 of us didn't want to leave. The view was extraordinary, lots to see around the cottage & nice people in the neighborhood. Everything in the cottage was great & were even surprised how beautiful it all was. Quick response from host for tips & advice. There was nothing disappointing. 15 minutes from villages where there was also a lot to do. This was a great experience & we look forward to coming back. Thank you !

Perfect place for my 3 night stay. Such a wonderful area with lovely walks nearby. The place was perfect and the private garden was truly magical, such a homely feel. Would return 100%

The property is at a great location with the main square at a walkable distance. Parking is available right in front of the house. The house is very clean and adequately furnished. We really enjoyed our stay.

The space was impeccably clean, stylishly decorated, and felt very modern and welcoming. Every detail was thoughtfully considered — it truly had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay.

We loved our stay in Gengenbach, and we believe a lot of it has to do with our stay here! the location was perfect, tucked away in the historic old town, bur an easy 5 minute walk from the train station. it was an easy check in and so clean once we arrived. Our host was also very quick to respond and understanding of our special requests.

Wonderful place to stay. A lot of attention to detail and very luxurious and spacious bathroom. There were dipped lights in each room. Cozy sitting outside in the garden and balcony runs all around. Waking up here is really a party. The sun rises and lights up the high hills that you overlook freely. Very idyllic!

My wife and I love this place, we felt right at home. Beautifully furnished, without a lot of unnecessary clutter. Not to mention the dear cat that came to visit us on the balcony several times a day. Andrej is also a very kind and helpful person. I would gladly come back, I can really recommend it from the heart 💪🏻😊

Our year 2025 could not have started better. Thanks for that 🙏 We were greeted personally by Milla & Grace, and we immediately felt welcome thanks to the brief introduction from the two. For us, it was the perfect place to relax, the incredibly beautiful panoramic windows invite you to do yoga or linger. Two other pluses were the sauna and the great free-standing bathtub. We will be happy to come back and can recommend the spacious apartment to anyone looking for something special.

The stay here was exactly what we expected! A beautiful, clean space that was equipped with all comforts. Despite having some rainy days, we were able to stay in this cottage! This is definitely recommended!

You feel welcome and immediately at home. The apartment is equipped with many small things that make life easier, such as oil, spices, paper, drinks, etc., and is sparkling clean. Beautiful holiday apartment! Everything was perfect from the start. Eunice is a fantastic host and we felt welcome even before arriving at the Pine Cone Loft as she provided us with all the relevant information well in advance. The apartment is pristine, luxurious and the views over the forest from the balcony and from the kitchen are breathtaking. The kitchen had everything you need including coffee and tea. Even the bathroom is equipped with shampoo, shower gel and lots of towels. Eunice was very patient with our rescue dog who was a bit nervous at first. Everything is very dog friendly, the dog house rules are easy to follow and there even was a water bowl and mat for our dog. The whole apartment was very clean and we felt immediately at home. The area is beautiful and quiet and right on the hiking trails. Baden-Baden very close and easy to reach within 10 minutes by car. Eunice has so many great tips about the area and is always there to help if you need anything. 100% recommend!

We very much enjoyed our stay in this beautifully designed apartment. We particularly liked that there is a lot of nature all around and the apartment is so harmoniously designed. There was all the equipment we needed. The garden is also great, with various corners where you can make yourself comfortable.

We felt very lucky to stay in this historic home, which was bulit in 1817 and set in a quiet, peaceful street with other homes of similar vintage. The interior maintains the charm of yesteryear but offers all the modern comforts one could need. We really appreciated our hosts who were there when we needed but also privacy, so we felt completely at home. The easy 30 min cycle to and from Strasbourg each day, past farmland and along the canal was a great way to experience the area.

Absolutely recommended. If it were up to us, 10 out of 5 stars⭐ There was nothing missing. The apartment is beautiful and well maintained, you will enjoy spending your time here. Nice spacious studio in the middle of the Black Forest. The studio is located on the ground floor of the hosts house, near the main road of Mitteltal, which was ideally located to start hikes and bike rides. With the Schwarzwald Plus card you can also use the bus for free to go to the start of hikes/activities in the region. Mitteltal has one very little supermarket and some bakeries and restaurants in walking distance (5-10 min). If you want some more options, Baiersbronn has some bigger supermarkets and more restaurants in 10 min by car. The sauna was a very nice addition on the rainy days. The bed was comfortable, the studio was very quiet and dark with the roller shutters down. The shower was also very nice. The host was very friendly and informative. We appreciated the parking spot in front of the house and the fact that we could park our racing bikes in the garage. We would recommend this studio for a peaceful trip to the Schwarzwald.

A great place to stay and enjoy the region. You can stay at home, cook some food, enjoy some wine, the nice view from the terrace and some animals around. Or you can go and explore the region because there is lots to do. You will get advice and tips from the kind hosts and they will leave you to it. Such a nice place and a perfect accommodation to stay for a while. Just mind your head every now and then because of the ceiling 😉 Would totally recommend!
