Great stay at Gravenhurst! Will definitely recommend!!

Had a fabulous (and alas, all-too-brief) stay at this architectural gem, located in a quiet and tranquil setting just a few minutes from the centre of Owen Sound. Sim was a wonderful host -- communicative and with lots of tips for things to see and do in the district. We aim to return as soon as possible!

Diana and Eric were an absolute pleasure to stay with. The bnb felt very cozy and provided the perfect “cabin in the woods” vibe. The hosts were always willing to help and the household pets were delightful.

I absolutely LOVED staying at Jen's The Inn on Bay. From the moment I arrived to my departure, Jen was an amazing host. The room was clean and the bed had the softest sheets I've ever slept on. There were another couple and I who had to leave very early Saturday morning for our triathlon and Jen made sure we had our usual race meals. I also enjoyed meeting Evelyn who served our breakfast on Sunday morning. I will definitely be back next year ( maybe even sooner) to stay at this beautiful home and the hospitality that awaits. Two thumbs up Jen (and Evelyn) !

Harry & Carol's house is just across the Georgia bay overlooking it. it is very neat & clean place. The breakfast was delicious, Carol we need the recepies please. The places recommended by them are worth the visit same as the restaurants. This couple is so humble, approachable and down to earth. we never felt away from home. We are coming again for sure during summer days.

Great trip, very quiet and great location to relax & unwind. Great hosts and food, would definately go back.

What an amazing weekend. Suzanne was an outstanding hostess. She always made sure we felt at home and had everything we needed to enjoy our time. Suzanne shared great local attractions to check out and always made sure we left for our adventures with a warm snack for the road. I’ll be sure to come back.

We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend this place, especially for couples. The property offers several rooms, and we booked one of the more charming ones with a beautiful view. The room was spotless, and Andy (owner) was incredibly kind and helpful, despite a slight language barrier. He really went out of his way to assist us. We also had access to a canoe, which was either free or came at a minimal charge. The serene surroundings made for the perfect getaway, exactly what we needed. While the view alone is worth the price, the hospitality truly made our stay memorable. If you have a bit more in your budget, I’d suggest booking the cottage on the same property. It comes with a private deck and offers even more seclusion and privacy. Thanks again for the amazing stay, Yuling!

Excellent stay as usual! Marilyn is a very thoughtful host and responds quickly. Location is great for what I need. Also appreciate the extra touches of coffee and breakfast items. Charlie is a sweetie and always provides a warm welcome as well.

We had an amazing stay at Katarina and John’s place! From the moment we arrived, everything was seamless—check-in was easy, and the space was spotless and beautifully designed. One of the highlights was the complimentary breakfast bar, which was such a thoughtful touch and made our mornings so much more enjoyable. Katarina was an exceptional host, always responsive and ensuring I had everything we needed. The location was perfect, and the atmosphere was cozy and welcoming. We would highly recommend staying here! 😊✨

The stay was just what we needed, a quiet time away from the city, in a cozy and beautiful B&B. The chickens on premises added to the charm. The hosts were wonderful and easy to get along with. And the breakfast was wonderful!! Town of Creemore and Stayner are near by allowing for an easy get away with nice cafes, bookstores and dine out opportunities. Wished we could have stayed longer! Hope to visit again soon.

attention to detail ! very clean , host explained to us in detail the door lock system . Very comfortable queen bed . Exceptionally clean space with complementary tea & coffee & bathroom toiletries . lots of natural light in room . quite tree lined street . space to park in driveway. thank you again

I truly could not oversell this BnB enough! We stayed with Ann for two nights for a small weekend get away and our choice in accommodation is absolutely what made the trip unforgettable! Right off the hop the house is gorgeous! For anyone who appreciates heritage homes with a bit of history you will love it here! It’s also filled with so many one of a kind treasures Ann has collected in her worldly travels and she has a wonderful story for each!! The room was pristine and so cozy , and the homemade breakfasts are absolutely delicious! We felt incredibly at home here and just loved sitting out in the back among the flowers, or chatting with the lovely neighbours! It really feels more like you are visiting an old friend or family member here and you will be sad to go! Also make sure to check out Ann’s gorgeous textiles! I left with a stunning jacket that has already become a wardrobe favourite!! Thank you so much for everything Ann! Can’t wait to come back for more stories and laughs!

Breakfast was amazing. Pumpkin waffles, fresh fruit and maple syrup was to die for…. Paths are all well lit in the evening adding an amazing ethereal experience as you navigate from the bonfire on the beach back to the main entrance. Great for a quick getaway from the city and have a glamping experience! 🤙🏼😄🏕

When I booked a night at The Kee to Bala at the last minute, we found an awesome little gem when we found The Birches. Paul and Cathy were so welcoming and had such great energy. I will be back to enjoy the beautiful, calm atmosphere.

Great location with flexible check-in and parking! Close to the harbour and groceries as well (walkable distance away). If there was just one thing, its a bit of a smaller space (but more than enough for a single person), so make sure you're comfortable sharing if you have a second guest!

It was everything we hoped for and more Darlene was a excellent host and dare I say a friend now. We came to celebrate a birthday and she went above and beyond getting the room ready with decoration a bottle of sparkly and cake to fit both our dietary restriction. I have complex dietary restriction and needs and Darlene was able to provide delicious meals with plenty of alternatives that allowed me to enjoy the same food as everyone else, keeping me included at all times. The atmosphere of the space was just immaculate and not to mention a variety of books and board games available for our use! Darlene offered us lots of advice on the best spots in town and where to best spend our time. overall an incredible experience and were already planning to go back in the fall.

Lovely clean and bright place. I slept well. The hostess was warm and had chats over coffee in the mornings! Sherri is very accommodating and great personality! I will definitely let others know of this Airbnb! Will return in future out of town trips ☺️

I had an unforgettable stay at Bala Bed and Breakfast, hosted by the wonderful Irene. From the moment I arrived, her warmth and hospitality made me feel completely at home. She’s not just a host—she’s the heart of the place. Her two dogs, Luna and Gracy, were gentle, friendly, and full of personality. Spending time with them was a treat. And let’s not forget Sparky, her lively bird who added charm and cheer to every morning. The breakfasts were phenomenal—fresh, thoughtfully prepared, and served with care. Irene puts love into every detail, and it shows. If you’re looking for comfort, great company, and a peaceful escape, this is it. Irene, thank you for making the stay truly special. I’ll be back.

We loved the place. The house is very beautifully decorated and Shelby has put a lot of love to detail in the decoration. She was very proactive and the bed comfortable. Although we shared the bathroom with other rooms, they were so clean! We will be coming back and will tell our friends and family about it! It was a 11 out of 10. we loved it and recommend it. She even offered breakfast which was very nicely done and very delicious!

The stay with Dorota and Mirek was one of my best stays ever. Everything about their place is serene and beautiful. The peaceful sound of waves outside, soft piano music inside, warm, cozy and super clean interiors, fragrant aromatic pouches in every corner of wardrobes, homemade and home grown food and Dorota and Mirek's hospitality will blow you away. Their home reflects their love for each other and their surroundings and staying in it is an experience in itself. They go out of their way to ensure their guests are safe and enjoy their stay. Mirek even sweeps the algae inside the lake to ensure people don't slip while swimming!! Dorota ensured I got yummy vegetarian breakfast and they set up a fire in their gorgeous fire place for all guests one night. We had an amazing time listening to such interesting stories of fellow guest and Dorota's local recommendations ensured i prebooked parkings where required. Staying with them was a very heartwarming and unforgettable experience

Our stay with Elaine and Markus was truly wonderful! They were so welcoming, kind and generous. We could not have asked for a better experience in their most incredible home! Heading about the creation of this special, unique property added an extra touch, along with the most wonderful home baked goods for breakfast! We will definitely be back next time we visit Canada and cannot recommend the property and hosts enough!
