Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Gjesdal Municipality

We stayed at Marlen's place with the family. The house is large and clean. The environment is paradise I highly recommend it.

An absolutely wonderful place to stay! The house is surrounded by farms, which makes it incredibly quiet and peaceful — the perfect escape from the noise of everyday life. The views are simply breathtaking, like something out of a postcard. The house itself is authentic, very cozy, and spotlessly clean. You can feel that every detail has been thoughtfully taken care of. We had a truly relaxing time and left feeling completely recharged. Would love to come back again!

Easy access, only the last 100m by unpaved road. Parking for several cars. The house met all the requirements. Plenty of space in both bedrooms and common areas. Well-equipped kitchen (maybe someone is bothered by the lack of a microwave and freezer). For 9 people, 2 bathrooms + an additional toilet were a big plus. The weather was different, so the heating was beneficial. The house was clean, a set of bedding and towels was waiting for everyone. Great neighborhood, peace and quiet, beautiful landscapes, everything is relatively close.

Great house with a lot of equipment, you will find what you need. Screened areas and a fantastic view. The host was very nice, welcoming and helpful. The host was also flexible at check-in when we had some challenges there. Delicious and large bathtub was absolutely great. We were very pleased.

Daniel was a great guest. Communication was easy and friendly from the start, and he treated the apartment with care and respect. He left everything clean and in order, which we really appreciated. He was also very helpful and thoughtful during his stay – overall, just a really pleasant person to host. We’d be happy to welcome him again anytime. Highly recommended!

Beautiful and modern furnished detached house in an established residential area. Stayed there for 3 nights and felt like home. Extra nice with the cat that lived there. Recommended!

Great house where both adults and children had a great time

This was one of the best places I stayed in. The house is in the old neighbourhood and right by the sea. In themorning, you are greeted by the biggest cruise ships ever and in the evning you get a great view of the sea and city. The host Daniel was a very friendly person who was very responsive a gave great suggestions about the city. All in all, it was a great stay. Recommended.

I had a great stay at this Airbnb. The location is beautiful and secluded, offering a peaceful escape. The interior was even better than in the photos—very cozy and stylish. Anna, the host, was responsive and accommodating. She kindly allowed extra time for check-out, which made our departure more relaxed. Overall, I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a comfortable and quiet getaway.

We really enjoyed our stay with Anders and Torhild. The apartment is fully equipped, looks beautiful and has a beautiful location. Close to a bay where you can swim, paddle, hike and sail. Anders and Torhild were very friendly. Really a place to go back to again. And then for a longer period.

The accommodation was amazing. Travelling with the family can sometimes be a challenge to keep children occupied. However, there was so much to keep them entertained- with a large Smart TV, playstation, games and music. After communicating additional needs of storage downstairs for my daughter's wheelchair, Snorre, accomadated this request with trust and ease. The centre of Stavanger is very accessible via a couple different walking routes and a bus route to/from Kongsgata (near Cathedral) that we used once to miss a shower. Overall, it was one of our top accommodations to date and would recommend to anyone.

Tor’s place was great for our family of four. It had all we needed for cooking and relaxing. The nice mattress on the bed was a plus! We were also able to do laundry in the building. The location was walking distance to the grocery store and the historic district. Tor was always responsive and helpful! Thank you!

Looking for the Perfect Getaway at Stavanger! This is it! Our stay at this home was amazing. Ideal for a young family! The home was spotless, beautifully decorated, and equipped with everything we needed, even an outdoor playhouse for our granddaughter. The patios were perfect for family barbecues, conversation and relaxation. The views from the kitchen and dining room windows were breathtaking. The owner was responsive and made check-in and check-out a breeze. We hope to return!

Tone & Jonas were very welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. The house was large and open planned which suited us perfectly. The outside area was excellent with a nice deck and BBQ etc. The location is wonderful, easy walk to shops and amenities, bus stops etc. Having a rental car was perfect for exploring this fantastic area, amazing coastline, wonderful infrastructure and only 15-20 minutes from the fjords and islands and about an hour to Pulpit rock! Only about 15 minutes from Stavanger Airport and minutes from Tananger Port with ferries to/from Denmark and Bergen. Thank you for a very memorable holiday in Rogaland! We took several families to a wedding in Eigersund. It was perfect that we could all stay together and the location in relation to the church and the place where the party was to be held was absolutely brilliant. It is an old house, but it is also described in the review, so not a surprise, and it is very cozy. It was super nice with, for example, dishwashing powder, shampoo and various hair dryers, curling irons, etc. It was nice that we didn't have to bring it ourselves. The communication has been absolutely top-notch, and the response/help was lightning fast. I can only recommend this house and the hosts.

We stayed with a group of 8 in the holiday cottage. The arrival was easy, the cottage was super cozy, the beach within walking distance. Very nice space, everything you need is there!

Lovely place, good host, beautiful surroundings lofts of space.

The house had many rooms with beds for all of us in the entourage. There was plenty of space in the house with several separate living rooms, spacious dining room with large dining table. There was a fantastic screened garden that invites outdoor activity. The host was quick to respond to messages and very helpful with questions we had. They offered charging at a reasonable price. All in all, an excellent stay in a very nice house. Thanks for the visit!

we had a lovely stay at nellys beautiful house. frequent and reliable buses made to and from airport easy and accessing the local towns simple. Beautiful views all round, open airy rooms which were clean and welcoming. nelly was flexible with check in and out. we saw the northern lights and had a decent snowfall which made my grand daughters holiday. the norweigen people were friendly and all spoke some English which was helpful. we had some great hospitality in some of the varied bars and cafes in tananger and stavanger. would highly reccomend.
