Gem of a place. so quiet and peaceful and yet so close to local towns and walks. It was nice to have a bit of garden to ourselves, and being able to pop over to see the hens. Comfortable and welcoming stay - with some lovely fresh eggs on the counter when we arrived, and a thorough welcome book with leaflets, details of nearby towns, restaurants etc. We did read on other reviews that the blinds didnt really block out much light - we took eye masks s a result and were glad that we did. Dont let that put you off though, the stay was incredibly lovely - we felt completely relaxed and at ease. Thank you, hope to be back same time next year!

This is a 10 out of 10 place. The place has everything you need. There is a genuine desire by the hosts to make your stay as special as possible. We used this as a base to visit Edinburgh (frequent trains from Drem to city about 10-12 mins away by car). Train trip about 30mins. Great alternative to avoiding the high city accomodation prices.

It was a beautiful getaway! A paradise close to the city. Amazing house, felt like a home away from home! The attention to detail in the house was different from anywhere else we've been in the past. It was stacked with all sorts of equipment and anything you would ever need. Beautiful garden with gorgeous lights. The fireplace was where we spent most of our time. Super flat with high quality furnishings and equipment and even helpful essentials for cooking meals. The place was spotlessly clean and conveniently situated for eateries and takeaways. Would definitely return.
