Beachfront holiday rentals in Gloucester

Had a great stay! House was stocked with all the basics and very spacious for the family! great area easy to get into Salem and surrounding towns.

Amazing location, close to Salem, beautiful views right from the living room window! We brought our bikes and were able to ride everywhere, didn’t move the car all weekend! This home will exceeded our expectations. So much care has went into this home and it really shows. Exquisitely decorated, and well stocked. The owners (and their pups) are all very nice. We would recommend this home over and over again!

I can’t thank you enough for letting me stay in this beautiful location. I’ve been going through chemo treatment and trying to find beautiful places in between treatment to enjoy. This place was a fav. Which I sort of want to keep to myself. I didn’t have a lot of energy to do a lot but it was exactly what I needed. Parked my car and left it behind. Watched the tide, walked around a beautiful place with my dog. I couldn’t ask for more.

Paul's property is beautiful. Located right next to a dock looking out into the Bay. The place has everything you need including complimentary snacks. Paul is also a delightful and communicative host. I will definitely be coming back should I be in town again.

We enjoyed our stay at the Mermaid Surf Bungalow. The house was exactly as pictured and very clean. The views of the marsh and ocean beyond are terrific. The location is great, so close to everything. Shaws market is just around the corner. For a great pizza or sub be sure to visit Surfside subs which is about 3 minutes up the road. We also like Midori Chinese/Japanese restaurant ( thanks to the owner for the recommendation) We had a delicious lunch with the best fried whole clams at the Lobster of Gloucester, a restaurant that should not be missed if your staying in Gloucester. Both restaurants are just 5 or 10 minutes from the house. Another fun trip is the road out the Eastern Point Lighthouse and a walk on the jetty. Just ignore the private road signs that try to scare you off, the road is public and open to everyone all the way to the lighthouse.

We had the best time in Arlington this past week! We came for the Boston marathon. The place was beautiful and the location was perfect. It was close to Boston but far enough out for the peace and quiet. Doug and Hope were the most exceptional hosts. They were accommodating and very responsive. They went above and beyond to make our stay and everything we needed as easy as possible. They were so great and we hope to come back in the future!!

Great location and big home. Good for two families (one per floor). Nice kitchen, dining and living area. Comfortable beds. Some items need a little love to finish them up, but that is to be expected in an older home. Great value for the price.

We had a wonderful vacation in NH especially due to the beautiful condo we stayed in. Every morning we took a short walk to the beach at sunrise. We also enjoyed sitting out on the deck overlooking the pool as well. It was a short drive to most places of interest, shops and restaurants. Our host Sue was very responsive via text. The place was clean and full of many things to help make our stay special. We’ll definitely be back in the future.

Zachary was very responsive and attentive to our needs which were very minimal. Very clean and well presented. Great location out of the midstream of chaos of the strip but close enough to get there. Walk to the beach short and can get a glimpse of the water from the room but would be better a floor or two up. Well furnished with all cooking supplies. Ice maker included which was a plus. Enjoyed our time. Wish we could have stayed longer!

We love the location since it affords us quick access to the beach as well as other areas we have stayed over the years. Brianna is a super host and communicates well with us throughout the whole experience. We certainly will be back.

We stay at Hampton Beach every year for a few days. This has by far been the best. It seemed we were at home. Copmmunication with the owner and the facility was exceptional.

We had such a sweet couple of days in Rye and Bungalow number 12 was the perfect spot. Close enough to stores and restaurants if needed yet still a super quiet section of beach. Absolutely lived it♥️

We loved our stay at Emily and Nick's place - the apartment and location was great and very scenic being right near the water and a wonderful park right around the corner (Stage Fort Park), and being within walking distance of the downtown area and the whale watch boat tour we were going on was perfect for us. Want to give a special shout-out as well to the Waterfront Cafe just a couple blocks away, which has very nice and friendly owners and outstanding bagel breakfast sandwiches as well as great lunch and dinner eats. Definitely recommend staying here and we all fell in love with Gloucester. And we got to see a humpback whale up close - can't beat that!

Very nice apartment with a wonderful balcony with comfy chairs overlooking the gorgeous bay, with sandy beach and rocky coast. The apartment was clean and comfortable with nice amenities. Great kitchen and bathrooms. Beds are comfortable and extra blankets are in the closet. Plenty of storage for clothing. The upstairs bedroom area was up a ladder which precludes small children. It was okay for our 5 year old but not for the 3 year old. The town is lovely and the center of town just 4 or 5 minutes away on foot. Beach access is just a minute away. Mary was a wonderfiul host and helpful. This is one of the lovliest AirBNBs we've stayed in and highly recommended.

This was by far the most beautiful space and location. It was everything and more than pictures showed. James was extremely responsive to everything we asked for and reached out several times to see if we needed anything. Close to lots of attractions. Salem close by and Boston by train! Would highly recommend this space and would love to book again next year!

our stay here was lovely. ellen and rusty were waiting for us when we arrived and helped us park. the space itself is cozy and clean. a treehouse indeed, up a bunch of stairs and surrounded by lovely oaks! ellen was an excellent communicator. she was flexible with our checkout as no one was following us and our first day was totally rained out. the location is lovely; a nearby beach and just under a mile walk to downtown. would recommend!

Sea La Vie is a great place to stay, a well appointed property with a large screen TV in the living room. We had a small family get together consisting of three generations. The house and amenities are in good condition, most importantly very clean. Neighbors are friendly. The master bed/bath suite is very spacious with a separate private room for TV and reading. First floor bed and bath made it convenient for elderly folks. Property is conveniently located near beach, grocery shopping, and restaurants. There is an EV charger conveniently located within walking distance to a Stop&Shop since we had an EV. Most importantly Deena is a great and responsive host.

Diana is pleasant, helpful, and accommodating. I really appreciate her responsiveness. Such a lovely, neat & clean apartment….exactly as shown - and more! 😊 Would love to return again in the future. Thank you for everything, Diana! We love everything about your place!

I’m borderline annoyed we stayed here because no other place will ever compare. This home was spectacular, and definitely had me wishing I was in a different tax bracket haha. Jokes aside, the most magnificent and relaxing place to stay. Beautiful views, lots to do, and indulgently luxurious at a very fair price. We would 100% come back here again.

We had a great stay! Friends and I stayed at Alex’s for a wedding which was the perfect location next to the hotel where the wedding was. Super convenient and walkable to downtown! Very responsive!
