Holiday rentals in Grammichele

I had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The location was perfect, with everything you need close by, and the view from the balcony was absolutely breathtaking. The city itself is beautiful, with so much charm and character. Highly recommend this place for anyone visiting the area!

This is a pristine, purpose built, single bedroom ground floor apartment , perfect for a night or 2, but parking is difficult, getting there by heavy e bike carrying my luggage is a challenge as there are so many steps in so many of the surrounding streets & alleys. But, just round the corner are the famous Steps covered in floral images, churches, and down the hill, less than 150 metres away is a nice plaza and many nice eateries. It's a very pleasant place, but the hilly streets are not for the elderly or infirm.

We had a fantastic stay and a wonderful time! The property and the rooms were even nicer than in the photos. Communication with Alberto and Roberta was super easy and quick—they were always available and helpful. They also shared some great local restaurant tips for the area and Ortigia. Some of their recommendations we already knew from our last trip to Syracuse, and we’d totally recommend them as well. 😎 Overall, we had an amazing experience and would love to come back! Just a quick note for anyone looking for a standalone house or villa: this place is actually made up of several (very beautiful) apartments.

Het is een mooi authentiek opgeknapt huis, aan de rand van Ibla. Prima slaapkamers en fijn beddengoed, goed uitgeruste keuken, wasmachine aanwezig. Geen eigen buiten plaatsje. Aan het eind van de straat een geweldig uitzicht over dit historische barokke stadje, met ook een goed restaurant met terras. Het lopen naar de Ibla is een steile weg, met veel trappen. Voor ons was de terugweg omhoog zwaar, dit hebben we opgelost door een taxi te nemen. Prachtig gedeelte van de stad om te ontdekken. Gioseppe en de eigenaar reageerden snel en vriendelijk met hun antwoorden. Zoals een aantal goede restaurants en het nummer van een taxichauffeur die we via whattsapp konden bereiken. Tevens ook informatie waar we de auto konden parkeren. We hebben genoten van ons verblijf. Vriendelijke groeten Idske&Rens

the location is exceptional here - we walked 50m to the eastern side of the island to swim every morning, and were then able to enjoy the afternoon sun and sunset from the balcony in the afternoons. the apartment itself is nice but a little dated in decor and could have been more stocked. we would have liked to cook, for example, but there was nothing at all -- oil, salt, etc. neither was there washing machine detergent. you're paying for the location and access, however, and on that front it was perfect. check-in was easy, the pin and lockbox made it simpler to leave a key when exploring and swimming, and the host was very helpful and kind. we'd come back!

This home is just a few minutes from the historic center, located in a charming neighborhood surrounded by beautiful shops. The host is incredibly friendly and flexible. The space is spacious and completely private, featuring a swimming pool and a lovely rooftop setup perfect for relaxing and chilling.

Nous avons passé un séjour absolument merveilleux chez Sylvia. L’appartement est superbe : décoré avec goût, raffiné jusque dans les moindres détails, et d’un niveau clairement haut-de-gamme. Tout est parfaitement équipé, avec de délicates attentions dans la salle de bain et la cuisine qui rendent le séjour encore plus agréable. L’emplacement est exceptionnel : juste à côté de la Piazza del Duomo, qui est tout simplement magique, et à deux pas de tous les sites à visiter sur Ortigia. La vue sur la mer et la Fonte Aretusa est à couper le souffle. Sylvia nous a également aidés à trouver et reserver un parking à proximité (environ 450 m), ce qui a grandement facilité notre arrivée. Les restaurants, les commerces, un petit parc charmant avec des arbres centenaires, un solarium juste à côté pour boire un verre et même une minuscule plage sont à quelques mètres. Nous avons vraiment adoré notre séjour à Ortigia, un rêve de douceur et de beauté. Un immense merci, Sylvia !

If I have one recommendation- it’s to book this place immediately. The space is built with stones from the 1692 Mt Etna eruption… and that is just the cherry on top. The history of this place is beyond and beautiful, with a location just seconds from the most blissful view, and perfect distance between two incredible public and free beaches. All of this fails to mention the BEST hosts I have ever stayed with- Lucilla and Antonio are kind, helpful, they think of absolutely everything, and they have the best recommendations in the world. Their place is homey and has everything you could possibly need. Everything exceeded my expectations.
