Holiday rentals with a kayak in Grant County

Beautiful lake home. Nice to sit out in evening in the hottub or the fire pit and watch the sunset. There were kayaks and fishing poles to use as well. Only 10-15 minutes to the Ark and eating places.

This was a great place to stay. Justin was very helpful and accommodating.

We had our family reunion at this place. Ages 1-90 enjoyed gathering at this property.

We had our friend group from all around meet up for Memorial Day weekend here. We had the best time! The lake was gorgeous and we loved the house so much. The backyard is now on all of our dream house lists.

Secluded area, peaceful, very comfortable bed and couch. We did deal with excessive (like 15-20+) stink bugs in the master bedroom over the course of our stay. Yes, they are harmless, but they are a nuisance and no one wants bugs on the ceiling above the bed or in their suitcase. The host did say she would address the issue. There was also hard water buildup on the shower head so the water pressure wasn’t great. Overall we had a good stay and would recommend the house and the host to others.

Absolutely loved the charming cabin. It was so peaceful and beautiful there. The cabin was immaculately clean. Aaron was a great host and responded quickly to my questions. We thoroughly enjoyed the view and the use of the jacuzzi and kayaks. Hope to stay there again within the next couple years.

The Black Sheep Disc Golf Club meets every year at this time of the year for a destination weekend. Emily and her team have a beautiful slice of heaven in the hills of Kentucky. Their place accommodated our whole club with a sufficient amount of beds and bathrooms. Provided kayaks were a great addition. I saw our guys catch and release over two dozen fish. We would love to go back!

This was a great place for the kids. Kayaks were available with full equipment and life jackets. The fish were biting. Donny kept in touch quickly. They had a ball.

We loved our long weekend at the cottage! It was such a peaceful setting that allowed us to relax and recharge. The lake-view from the deck, in the morning and evenings was awesome. It was a little too chilly for water activities, but we look forward to returning in the summer and taking full advantage of ‘lake life!’ The host was so accommodating. We loved the location in proximity to the daily activities we were doing-Creation Museum/Newport, visiting distilleries in Frankfort and the local Ark Encounter.

We LOVED Tracy's cottage on the lake!!! It was SO INCREDIBLY PEACEFUL, we didn't want to leave. Our absolute favorite part was the screened-in deck; we spent all our time at the cottage out there, even when it was raining! We live close to many lakes at home, yet we couldn't believe how quiet this community was. The cottage itself was squeaky clean, organized, and labeled so well. We could have just relaxed at the cottage the whole trip, but everything we wanted to check out (the Ark, Creation Museum, Beans, Hansie's, downtown Williamstown) was close and easily driveable. We'd come back in a heartbeat! Tracy is a lovely, generous, responsive, and all-around excellent hostess!

Was a perfect getaway with me and my 2 kiddos

My stay at the Carriage House could not have been better! I was in town for a funeral and needed a comfortable place to stay while I attended the service and visited family. The host Lisa was so responsive and thoughtful, even making sure the lights were on so I felt welcomed upon my evening arrival. The home is spotless and exactly as shown in the pictures. I have traveled all over and stayed in many Airbnbs, and the Carriage House is by far the best one yet! This home exceptionally well appointed with amenities and thoughtful touches. I was traveling alone this time but have two children who are often with me, had they been here for this trip they would have had a blast with all of the games and kids amenities as well. Wow, what a beautiful cabin. We had 2 couples staying in the cabin for the weekend with plenty of room. I ask the owners if they had a banner for a birthday🤗. We were celebrating my best friend’s 60th birthday. We went to the Arc encounter which was very close and had dinner reservations in Cincinnati on a dinner train. Anjanette went above and beyond to hang balloons and a banner. She was so thoughtful. We all had a wonderful time at the cabin and the hot tub was amazing. We would definitely recommend this cabin. Thanks for a wonderful weekend.

We had a wonderful time at Lisa’s lake house. There was so much to do which she provided - boats, movies, yoga mats, swings and more. There was a slight electrical problem initially but Lisa was quick to fix it and that’s the most important thing in my opinion about an AirBnb host. Highly recommend this home! The only issue we had was finding it as my GPS only took us to the beginning of the road. Sues restaurant is also worth it!

This lake house is incredible, and exceeded all our expectations. A true gem. Located at the end of a quiet cove with awesome views for a relaxing getaway. Beautifully designed, tastefully decorated combining modern comfort with rustic charm. Awesome and responsive owners. Cleanliness is clearly a top priority here. The entire house was spotless upon arrival w/ gleaming bathrooms and immaculate kitchen. It was impeccable, seriously. It’s evident the owners take great pride in maintaining their property to the highest standards. House is equipped with everything you could possibly need for an amazing vacation. Fully stocked kitchen with all the essentials, hot tub, cold plunge, sauna, home gym, outdoor grill, kayaking, swimming, fire pit, pinball/arcade games! Owners thought of every detail to make your stay amazing. I can’t recommend it highly enough, would def rent again. If you’re looking for an unforgettable, stunning lakeside retreat, this is the place! 11 outta 10 stars!

The perfect weekend getaway spot! My husband and I loved kayaking and the projection movie screen. The cabin is adorable and had all the kitchen amenities you could ever want. We brought some of our favorite meals to cook and stayed in the house the whole trip. I couldn't ask for a more romantic, tidy, and unique cabin. The stairs are steep inside like mentioned so I wouldn't necessarily recommend this place for anyone elderly or who has trouble moving about, but for us it was no problem and there's extra hand holds on the wall. Richie was super easy to get ahold of and quick to respond to any questions we had. Would go back and recommend this place to others!
